Chapter 11

BPOV

Ugh, I just can't control myself! I had sex with Jasper again. I think he's having just as much trouble as I am. Should I even continue to fight it, I mean we're both two consenting adults. But I don't want to get attached, I don't know his reason for being back he could very well leave again and then where would that leave me?

I climb out of bed and headed towards the bathroom to get ready for school. Charlie came back home last night, and I reintroduced him to Jasper. Since, he's gonna be hanging around for a while I figured they should meet. Charlie wasn't exactly happy with me hanging around a Cullen again but there wasn't much he could really say. It was my life and he knew I was responsible.

I didn't question not seeing Jasper when I woke up, because I knew he was in the kitchen. Yesterday I discovered that I could sense his location, wherever he was. He'd stepped outside to answer his phone, during his conversation with Charlie. Without even asking or questioning his whereabouts I walked outside and straight to him, when I needed him.

We decided to test our theory out in a very childish way. We played hide and seek, which is probably not the best thing to mention after claiming to be adults but whatever we had a blast. He would hide and wherever he went I'd find him on the first try. Charlie stood on the back porch watching us, amused at our antics. He laughed and told us we were two sides of the same coin.

We had fun yesterday, neither of us mentioned having sex to each other, which was perfectly fine. I wasn't ready to figure out what exactly was going on with Jasper and I.

By the time I was ready the whole house smelled like bacon, and eggs. He cooked me breakfast! "Good Morning, Bella."

"Morning Jasper. Thanks for breakfast, but unless you plan on eating with me you've made too much."

He chuckled. "The rest is for Charlie, he let me in this morning on the condition I bring him some too." I rolled my eyes; yeah he 'let him in' as if he wasn't already in my room.

"Did you influence my father?" I ask narrowing my eyes at him. He mock gasped and placed a hand over his non-beating heart. "I'm appalled who'd think so?" He grinned. "I was very charismatic in my human life you forget." He frowns, "You and I, were ok after what happened yesterday?" He asked suddenly changing the subject.

"Jasper! Don't want to go there now?" I plead with my eyes.

"Ok but when you get home from school I have something to tell you." I nodded my head, and ate my breakfast.

Jasper dropped me off and picked me at the end of the school day. I knew he meant what he said about wanting to protect me. But, I didn't think he was serious about not letting me out of his sight. He moved into my bedroom, not officially because Charlie knows nothing about it. But if Charlie ever went snooping in my closet he'd find men's large T-shirts and 31/34 size jeans, as well as Jasper's boots.

Luckily, Charlie isn't a snooper so we shouldn't get caught. But Renee on the other hand I would constantly find in my closet looking for a shirt to match her jeans.

I was so busy in my own thoughts that I didn't notice Jasper wasn't driving to my house, and we have apparently arrived at our location. We were parked in a lot that usually housed camper's or hiker's cars while they traveled through the woods. Before I could ask Jasper had me cradled in his arms and traveling through the trees at vampire speed. I was more curious than I was scared I wanted to know where he was taking and what he wanted to talk about.

He slowed down and walked through some trees to reveal a beautiful meadow, full of wild flowers and the soothing sound of a stream. Unlike everything in forks the meadow was not only green but also filled with blues and yellows, and reds. "It's beautiful," I whispered looking at him he smiled down at me.

There was a rustle in the bushes and a white fluffy bunny hoped out obviously to investigate the new intruders. When he saw Jasper he hopped straight to him, Jasper bent down and petted it. It was so sweet but confusing at the same time. Another adult bunny hopped out of the bushes along with a group of little bunnies and made their way towards us to. I looked up at Jasper confused; until I saw the light in his eyes as a saw them jump all over his bent frame. Aren't animals supposed to be afraid of vampires and shy away from them?

"Elvis, she finally gave you the time of day, huh buddy?" He spoke to the rabbit petting it gently. "Look at your family." He picked one of the little ones, who could quite jump into his lap and placed him there. "Bella, this is Elvis, and Isabelle." He said sheepishly.

"Did you name her after me?" I asked him shocked.

"Yeah, when Elvis introduced me she needed a name, and she is so fiercely loyal to Elvis and fearless. She hopped right over to me, and stood between, us to protect him," he chuckled. "She reminded me of your beauty and your amazing ability to love wholeheartedly."

I blushed at his words. I didn't know Jasper thought that way about me. "Want to help me name the rest of these little guys?" I nodded, smiling sending him my happiness. He gasped, "How do you know how to do that?" I shrugged and picked up a rabbit. Eve taught me but I couldn't tell him that. Keeping Eve's secret was important in not only protecting her, but prevents others from being in danger. Thankfully Jasper let it go.

Since Jasper named one after me I though it was fitting to name the strong bunny that constantly won the wrestling matches with its sibling, Jas. One by one we named the bunnies after the Cullens. Jas, Emmy, Rose, Ally, Carl, May, we even named one Eddie. I named the one that seem the most mysterious and independent Evey. I missed her, maybe I should text her.

Jasper cleared his throat unnecessarily. "I hope that in this time that we've been together that you've seen that I care a great deal for you, Bella," he said. My heart rate started to increase. Great now his going to leave me too.

"I tried to tell you this earlier but I chickened out and apologized about the birthday incident instead. So let me get this out, before you freak out and assume things." He looked at me to make sure I was agreeable. "Bella, I'm your mate. That's why we have this connection, the sex, and the sixth sense of always knowing where I am."

I looked at him shocked at what he was telling me. Of course it made sense and if I was actually trying to figure it out I probably would have but I didn't want to deal with it.

Jasper suddenly grabbed me and pushed me behind him. What the hell is he doing? "There's three vampire headed this direction and fast. From their emotions they're not friendly. If I run they will follow. Do you trust me?" He spoke to me while gripping my face between his hands. I nodded, not trusting my voice. "Please don't be scared of me because of what you're about to see," he whispered. He lightly planted a kiss on my forehead and turned around to face three vampires that broke through the tree line smiling at us menacingly.
