Part 7

Special Holiday

The two-hundred million dollar property owned by the Hizuris is now decorated from the main house down to the gate with; Christmas ornaments and dancing lights, the garden has ben finessed with the holiday designs and adorned by colorful string of lights.

The home interior as well as the offices were decorated with green and red décor, the center of the family room; housed the ten-foot-tall Christmas tree and a mountain of presents for everyone under the care and employment of the Hizuri family, of course their furry-four-legged members are also included. One can leisurely rest in the cozy atmosphere the house provides.

Unlike in the past, the smaller property around a few million dollars, despite the lavish decorations for all holidays felt cold and empty. But now that both of the Hizuri couple's sons are home, plus with their own chosen families- the spacious estate is now warmer and happy. The gorgeous white fireplace has been personally decorated by the Hizuri matriarch with stockings that reflects the personality of its owners, varying from colors to its forms.

Kuon has a simple red and fluffy white trims, his future-wife's matches his, except it has some fairy designs, Kuu and Julie also matched; with the all white and glitery stockings with mistletoe designs, while their youngest has those typical tactical desert colored stockings. And Kuu was in charge of filling them with presents, he had some few issues of what to get to his youngest since he was not lacking anything and very much not materialistic, instead he got plenty of sweets and salty snacks to strap on the molle attachments. And as extra, it was adorable when he got all the dogs plenty of treats and toys for their own stockings hanged on their kennels.

As usual Kuon and Kyoko can be found in the family room quietly scooted reading their scripts for their respective projects, "Hey kids, just a little head's up. We're having some company later." Kuu informed and his son and future-daughter-in-law waved acknowledging his announcement. The guards saluted and gave Kuu their usual cheeky smile letting the patriarch know that they'll keep everyone safe.

Unfortunately, Kuu failed to let his oldest son know that they will be having a 'reality talk show' over, Kuon and Kyoko wasn't prepared and were only wearing their homey-cozy clothes on. To much delight of the director and producers having the younger Hizuri couple in their candid situation. Kuon and Kyoko didn't bother to change and helped Kuu and Julie to tour the crew around their four-and-a-half acres estate. The guests wowed at the five-hundred feet of beachfront as well as the gardens that had been well maintained.

Kuu explained that their main house used to be the only mansion in their one-and-a-half acre property and after Julianne came home, to make space for his office as well as personal security contractors he had purchased the neighboring properties and built matching buildings, for his use as well as furnishing the driveways and gardens to be accessible and aesthetically pleasing. ATVs and golf-carts were used to touring the area.

It took them at least three hours just to cover the garage, driveway, outdoor gym, beachfront and gardens, with the crew as well as hosts were resting to one of the biggest balconies with Julie and Kyoko, "Oh! Here comes Julianne!" Kyoko excitedly announced after watching the convoy of bullet - proof SUVs parade the driveway. As usual the youngest Hizuri is as fashionable as his mother; dressed in his slim-three-piece-all back-suit, looking dashing with his clean faux-hawk hair and aviator prescriptive glasses.

Julianne went to greet his mother and future-sister-in-law with a kiss in the head, Kyoko pouted when he seems to be aware that they will be having guest and knows it would be for a show, "Don't tell me the old man forgot to tell you it's for the morning show?" Julianne calmly asked and was confirmed when Kyoko gave a sound of protest.

With a low chuckle, "If you need me, I'll be in the office." He stated and the ladies from the crew kept ogling at him, this caused Julie to be amused. Julianne briskly walked with his bodyguards tailing him, some who are patrolling with their canine companions saluted and greeted happily, the mother and daughter watched with pleased look that Julianne is finally loosening and smiling more often.

Kuu and Kuon on the other hand introduced almost all their trusted personnel as well as employees, especially the nanny, butler, maids and gardeners who maintain the beauty of their home. The hosts enjoyed the cart rides to the connecting buildings especially the busy office of the youngest Hizuri, they were amazed to see a full board-room as well as a huge lounge pantry for his private security. The kennel was top grade having to provide all the necessities for their canine security.

Wrapping up the tour, they headed back to the heart of the mansion; the family room. Comfortably settled by the fireplace lounge, the hosts started to interview the Hizuri Patriarch and Matriarch, it was a roller coaster of emotions telling their story of how their years were empty and cold, not having their children around and especially after Julianne left for overseas upset with them. Kuu and Julie had to take counselling, devastated that they had repeated their past mistakes and made it worse.

The hosts were in tears hearing Julie croak and sob doing her best to hold her tears. Kuu taking long and deep breaths during the interview doing the same thing his wife does and that's hold back his tears. "But I am glad that after years, he finally came home and we did our best to be forgiven and mend our little family. Little by little things are falling to its place, we just have to be patient." Kuu commented.

"Hey, bud? Done with meeting?" Kuu called for his youngest who nodded, "Come, join us?" He was a little hesitant but joined in. Kuon and Kyoko made some space and he sat between his parents. It was amusing how the two lady hosts failed to focus, drooling over the younger Hizuri. Instead of asking the scripted questions, they became a little personal with Julianne asking if he had any girlfriend or dated back in college.

Julie became hilariously protective of her baby and the director allowed the situation loving the impromptu exchange, poor Julianne was confused and embarrassed having to reveal he was a nerd and never had any relationship. Kuon even commented how his brother is definitely a legit monk.

It was late when they finished and the crew started to clean up, everyone stayed for a while to have dinner at the grand-backyard. Colorful Christmas lights as well as the standard ones that help illuminate the garden were hanged and wrapped around the shaped and trimmed bushes, picnic tables were filled with food buffet, and the Hizuri family's security contractors were there to join.

Christmas songs blared the speakers and typical Julianne hiding in his office after the ladies started looking for him. Julie leans to her husband's shoulder watching their little family being present and enjoying themselves, their younger son despite in his office, can still be viewed by the fall glass wall. The young man was eating his own portion and dealing with reports. While their older son, is happy and content with his life with his forever partner, it was adorable how the couple shares one plate and feed each other.

With a content sigh, "Strange how this feels so new to me. But a very happy feeling." Julie said.

Kuu chuckled, "Well... This is like a first after a very long time, darling." Kissing her forehead, "The rowdy mornings, their sibling fights, dogs... everything. I love it." Kuu refuse to go back to those silent and cold years where their sons absent.

"I better get Julianne few more food, he's locking himself in his office." Julie stood and took another plate.

Kuu gave a heartily laugh, "I think Julianne failed to get my genes." Kuu winked at his wife who blushed.

"Oh! Hush! He is a gentleman and refused to hit on every lady he sees." Julie remembers Kuon in his teenage years, "Besides, I taught him well on how to be respectful with women. See how he turns the aggressive advances the girls were giving earlier." Making her point.

Kuu giving up and holding his hands up, "Okay, okay... I know you just want to be with him for a little longer before giving him to a worthy girl." He joked and Julie pouted.

"You'll sleep in the couch tonight, honey." Turning with a hmph, and leaving Kuu in distress and chasing after her.

After the show aired, the edited version of the house tour only took a few minutes however they were able to cover all the attractive areas of the estate, especially a montage of the beach front as well as the connecting mansion-turned-office, everyone loved the living area and family room, as what the Hizuri family fans expressed online. They even featured the collection of photo frames of the family, the glass dividers for the actors' awards and the youngest's academics honors, from medals to trophies.

The interview made the audience cry and laugh, feeling the sadness what the couple felt after their sons left, one with guilt and the other anger. Laughter after when the siblings started to banter, chaotic guard dogs running around the house playing tug-of-war with Julianne who's busy dealing with his annoying older brother, security from the outside bantering and Julie trying to shoo the hosts away from her baby.

But most of all, it was the first time that Julie and Kuu's fans were able to deeply know their youngest. Though, there were haters who criticized the Hizuri couple why their sons runaway from home and left in guilt and anger, while others picked a fight with the youngest pointing that he cannot act, despite coming from a family of actors and models.

However, one fan said in defense, "I remember Julianne playing as Spencer from the series 'Clay's guide for School Survival' that was a huge hit back in our teens, I don't know why after the series ended he didn't continue to act." With a sad face, "And before you girls became his fans recently, I was one of his OG fangirls!" She added. And long string of comments confessing their teen crushes to the younger Hizuri.

Despite the sudden throwback from the second Hizuri son's acting career, the family were praised for their resilience and making things work. The audience can see the smiles and laughter they share wasn't scripted or forced, rather they were very candid and honest of their history. The couple's fans wished them happy holidays and plenty of warm family moments in the future.
