Hiccup's P.O.V
To say today was a great day would be an understatement. Today, ah, there's no way to describe it! It all started when Toothless and I drove to Punzie's for Christmas.
"So...you finally got the guts to pop the question. And not to Astrid surprisingly." Toothless said.
"Oh, ha ha, you're just mad I beat you to it!" I retorted, "So you owe me $500!"
Earlier in the year, we made a bet to see who would propose first. And like hell I was gonna give half a thousand bucks! Well, we arrived at Punzie's. She smiled as she let us in. Merida, Astrid, Eugene (Punzie's husband for a year now), and the others were there. I sat close to them when she came...

Merida must have noticed me gazing at her because she leaned over and whispered, "Can you feel, the love tonight? The piece the evening brings? The world for once, in perfect harmony, with all its living things?"
Of course, Astrid just had to join in, "Can you feel, the love tonight? You needn't look too far, stealing through, the night's uncertainty, love is where they are..."
Oh Gods... I never should have let them borrow my blueray copy of the Lion King... I'm not sure how nervous I was as I cleared my throat.
"Jack?" She looked at me, "Jack, I dunno what to say. When I first saw you, I knew I fell for you, as corny as that sounds, it's true. You made me remember that, yes life has its difficulties. Yes, bad things happen to everyone. Yes, no one's perfect. But that doesn't matter! You made me remember to have fun in life. You made me realize, I didn't have to be a jerk to get respect. You've helped me more than any of these guys, no offence guys. What I guess I'm trying to say..." I walked over to her, took her hand and got on my knee. I was able to catch a few tears form in her eyes. "Jacklyn Overland Frost, you made my life better than it ever was. I dunno what I'd do without you, when you aren't with me, I feel lost. You became my light, my angel. I want to spend life with you. Forever. Please, do me the honor, of becoming my wife..."
The tears fell. Jack fell on her knees and threw her arms around me. Silence. Oh Gods, I hated the silence! She let go and stared at me.
"How can I say no?" She laughed and I joined her.
