Chapter 23
On the morning in Snowbelle City, the Mache Family is having breakfast as Eve tells them about something that shocks their minds. Flora asks, "No way! The project was approved by the Pokemon League Association?! That means you will be able to become the Professor like you want to be!"
"I know...but the problem is that I have all the recognition except for 3 Professors and a Regional Champion." Eve frowns a little. "I got Professor Sycamore's recognition because of my hard work in his lab, but that leaves 2 vacant spaces for Professors and a vacant space for the Champion..."
Valerie says, "That is really difficult...since you didn't know the other Professors except for Professor Sycamore, how are you supposed to get their recognition if they just meet you?"
"Not to mention Diantha has to go to Unova to film for new movies, and she barely knows you." Flora adds.
Eve frowns and says, "But I can't just give up, right? I worked so hard in order to be one and I can't just let it go like nothing..."
Alice is sad for Eve, and she says, "Why not ask Ash Ketchum to help you with the Champion one?"
"Are you kidding me? The World Champion of all people?" Eve asks with a small chuckle. "As if he'll be able to help me out..."
Flora says, "How did you know if you didn't try it out? Maybe it will work somehow."
"Even if the famous Ash Ketchum can help me out, how about the other two Professors?" Eve asks.
Alice thinks for a second and says, "Don't worry, sister Eve. I can help you with it."
Eve turns to Alice and she says, "How are you going to help me? This is not something that you can help me out..."
"You won't be saying that after I tell you how I can help." Alice says, "In truth when I was traveling in the Kalos Region last year on my own, I found something that really surprises us."
"Surprise you? What do you mean?" Eve asks.
She takes a deep breath and says, "Did you remember Professor Sylvan and Professor Binary?"
Eve and the others widen their eyes as she says, "I know...they were the well-known Professors who are researching the Legendary Pokemon. But they are gone, right? After they try to find the Pool of Youth, they disappear and no one has heard of them for years..."
"Yeah, and I found the Pool of Youth, and they were there as well. But they stayed there since they are protecting others from going there. At first, they treat me as an enemy, but after I told them that I was just passing by, they finally let me go and we become friends." Alice says, much to her delight.
"Does that mean you can ask them to help me? I have heard from Professor Sycamore about these two Professors, and every one of the Professors wants to see them again." Eve asks while shaking her shoulder.
"Calm down, Sister Eve." Alice quickly stops her, then she says, "Well...they have been missing for seventeen years without communication, I don't know if they can..."
"You have to try, I am sure they are my last hope." Eve says with determination, and Alice gives a small sigh, "For your sake, I think I will try."
Once Alice goes into the forest as she has to find Ash on Sevestar Island, she is surprised that Valerie has come along. Alice asks, "Mom? What are you doing here?"
Valerie asks, "I just want to know, are you going to disguise as Sylvan and ask Ash to disguise as Binary for Eve's sake?"
Alice knows what her mother is thinking, she says, "Yes Mom. I know Ash might not agree with this, but I will try. And, in fact, I found the pool of youth that you made with Ash's father in the Terminus Cave. Besides, we did manage to read all the documents and theories that you and Ash's father wrote, it will be no problem for us to be them."
"I see. I hope your plan works." Valerie says with a sad smile.
"I am feeling the same way, Mother. But for Eve, I am willing to try it out." Alice says as she flies away with Articuno.
As Alice returns to Sevestar Island, she finds Ash standing in the middle of the garden, but Alice feels something weird with him, she gives him a smile and says, "Hey Ash, there you are..."
Ash says, "Hey, Alice, how are you doing?"
"Good, but I really need some help." Alice says. "Ash, can you help me with this kind of help?"
"Can I say no?" Ash says, and Alice feels surprised, as Ash has never turned down any requests that she asks him to, but now Ash is refusing her, she feels confused.
"But why?" Alice says. "I mean, you said to me that you will help me no matter what, why..."
"There you are, you are not going to get away with this..." Alice is confused to see another Ash appearing from the castle. Alice is confused and the other Ash turns to her, "Oh, hey, Alice. I am glad you finally come, but let me deal with this Pokemon first." Ash grabs its tail as it becomes Zoroark.
"Zoroark?" Alice is confused. "Is this your new Pokemon?"
"Well, I met him back in Sinnoh because of some reason. But I got reunited with him thanks to Arceus, who mentioned a Pokemon who is able to speak human trying to find me." Ash recalls the Pokemon. "I also caught a Purrloin who is trying to steal my stuff, a Vullaby who wants to fly, and a Deino found close to Opelucid City. Although the Purrloin is evolved, but Vullaby and Deino need more training if I want to evolve them."
"You're right about that. One takes Level 50 to evolve, while the other one is Level 54. Not to mention when Zweilous evolves into Hydreigon, we still need to get to Level 64." Alice says.
"Now, what are you going to ask me?" Ash says.
"Oh, Ash. I want to ask if you can help me?" Alice asks.
"You're my Princess, why can't I help you?" Ash asks.
"You see..." Alice explains the whole problem to Ash, Ash nods and says, "Well, it is possible, since your sister really needs some help. Besides, I want to try out the Binary disguise as well."
"Thank you, Ash." Alice says. "I'll tell my sister the news, not to mention that I will like to be Sylvan as well."
"Okay." Ash then comes up with an idea. "Now that I've thought about it, if Eve has become the Professor, maybe she can be the regional Professor of the Sevestar in the future!"
"You're right about that! She will have her own lab, her own Starter Pokemon to send to new trainers, and so on...you're a genius, Ash." Alice says as she gives Ash a hug.
"Now what are you waiting for? I'll wait for you to bring Eve here." Ash says, and Alice leaves to go back to Kalos.
When Alice brings Eve into her room, she tells her that she gets Ash's permission to help her with the project. Eve asks, "Hold on a second...Alice, how did you of all people know about Ash Ketchum?"
Alice sighs and she says, "Eve, I love you as my sister but I am sorry that I have hidden the news from you." Alice shows her the hand and says, "You see, Ash and I are already a couple. And by that I mean we already have a paper marriage."
Eve stares at Alice and she says, "Is this some sort of joke? Don't you forget why you got bullied in school?"
"I didn't forget, and I am not lying." Alice says as she rushes to drag Flora into the room. "Flora, Eve doesn't seem to believe me about my husband. Tell her that it's true."
Flora protests, "Why should I be the one? Ash is your husband, not mine."
Eve says, "Wait, what? You mean our sister and Ash Ketchum are already a couple?" Eve asks with a shocked and hurt tone. "Does that mean even Mom and Dad know about this?"
After the two of them nod, Eve kneels to the ground and says, "Why... why did all of you do this to me? Why did you exclude me from such a big moment? I have a brother-in-law who is a famous World Champion and none of you tell me about this?"
"How would we tell you? You used to stay with Professor Sycamore when doing the projects, we did want to tell you, but you always replied with "I'm busy, don't talk to me right now." And I did mention him help me with my university enroll after dropping out of the school, did you seriously forget about that?" Alice says with a sigh.
"Oh... I guess I really was too focused on my own thing that I neglected your words... I'm sorry about that. But now that the hardest part is done, maybe you can tell me everything now?" Eve asks.
Then she tells her how she meets Ash, and how they destroy Team Rocket together. Eve can only stay stunned, and she says, "Wow...just how much did I miss in your life... i Almost couldn't recognize you anymore."
"I have been with Ash for a year and a half, and we have been using our disguises to get wonderful jobs. If you don't know, Dean is Ash himself, and I'm Whith." Alice says.
"Seriously..." Eve mutters. "But then again, it makes some sense."
"You know about this?" Flora asks.
"I want to be a Professor, so I have to read a lot of documents. I have stumbled upon a document about Aura, and learned everything from it." Eve says. "I know we have the Mache Aura, and Whith has the same aura as well."
"Okay..." Alice says.
"I was just waiting for the time that you told me about your disguise. Though I didn't know Dean was Ash the whole time, after all, he wants to hide from the world, and what better way to do it? Disguise himself."
"Well, Dean and Whith are not only our disguises." Alice says as she reveals all the disguises to Eve, who is surprised and asks, "You are going to tell me that the two main vocalists, Aoi and Jude, of the Colors Band, are you and Ash?"
Flora says, "Weird, right? But I was there when I see the band getting formed."
"But it doesn't make sense. You told me that even Binary and Sylvan are your disguises, but they disappeared after 17 years, and you were just what? 3 years old?" Eve asks.
"Let's say that Binary and Sylvan's disguise belonged to Ash's father and our Mother." Alice says, "I inherited the disguise."
"Inherited to you?" Eve rolls her eyes, "She should have inherited me since I want to be the Professor."
"But you want to be the Professor as YOURSELF, or as SYLVAN? Think about it." Flora asks. Eve sighs and says, "I guess you're right, I want people to call me Professor Eve, not Professor Sylvan."
"And there you have it." Alice says. "Now should we go to Sevestar Island to find Ash?"
"I think we should go, maybe we will be able to have lunch from you guys as well." Flora says as she looks at the time.
"Where is this Sevestar Island? No, the better question is...is that even a real place, to begin with?" Eve asks.
"Sevestar Island is a small island that only our family and Ash's family know about. We can't go there normally, we have to get help from Legendary Pokemon." Flora says.
"And we have Articuno with me, so we can go there once we get to the Pokemon Village." Alice says.
Eve starts to wonder how much did Ash change her sister, she was supposed to be really shy and introverted, but now she is very smart and also strong. She knows how much Alice loves to talk about Ash, and that was the reason why she was being bullied by the others. But to think she would meet him and even date him, she really is stunned.
"Eve, we have to go." Alice says, and Eve snaps back from her thinking as she follows the two sisters.
I'll end the chapter right here, and as you can see, Alice decides to finally reveal the truth about Ash to Eve, and they are now heading towards Sevestar Island so Eve can get their recognition and become the Professor that she wants to be. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be Ash and Alice's disguise for Binary and Sylvan.
