Chapter 25

After some days, Ash, Alice, and Eve are now at Ula'ula Island, with Tapu Bulu's help, they manage to have a chance to fight Officer Nanu for the Darkium Z. Although Nanu still gives them each the rule of using 1 to defeat his 3 Pokemon. But this time, Ash uses Scrafty, and with the ability Moxie, he manages to defeat all three of them with ease.

"Well done, Ash. You have beaten me the second time. But this time, I can see that your heart is full of darkness. Probably because of what happened 2 years ago." Nanu takes the Z Crystal and gives it to him. "Don't let that darkness take over you to do something evil, so take this Z Crystal and learn how to express it."

"I will, Officer Nanu." Ash nods as he takes the Z Crystal. Eve is next and she uses Grimmsnarl to battle, with the Type advantage, she wins with ease and also gets the Z Crystal.

And once they are done, they head to Melemele Island to capture an Alolan Rattata and an Alolan Meowth. Both of them are found near the school grounds, and after capturing the two Pokemon, they immediately leave for Poni Island.

After getting inside Resolution Cave since it is the place rumored to have another Ultra Wormhole, just as they step inside, all they see is a destroyed city.

Ash grits his teeth, "Not this place... I've been here before..."

Alice asks, "What is this place?"

"This is the Ultra Ruins... the Ultra Beast World for Guzzlord..." Ash says. "2 years ago, Guzzlord attacked the stadium right after I won the Alola League..."

"I think I've seen the news." Eve says, "And I also heard that Guzzlord is probably the most terrifying Ultra Beast because it eats whatever it sees and never gets full."

Alice gulps, "Then how are we going to train a Guzzlord if he is going to eat everything it sees?"

Ash says, "Arceus gave me an emergency Poke Cube for Guzzlord. If we manage to throw it into its mouth, it will calm down and thus will listen to us without the hunger clouding its mind."

Eve and Alice nod as they climb into the pipe to another part of the ruined city, and they find Guzzlord devouring the buildings in front of them.

"Hey Guzzlord!" Ash yells, and the Guzzlord turns around. At the same time, Ash climbs onto Hydreigon and flies towards the Dragon Pokemon, who tries to attack with Dragon Pulse. But Ash has Hydreigon use Tri Attack to stop the attack, and then throw the cube into its mouth. And just as the Pokemon is devouring, Ash quickly throws a Beast Ball and captures it.

"We got what we want, now let's head back." Ash says.

After they escape the Ultra Ruins, they head back to Sevestar. And with Arceus calming the Guzzlord, it starts to train with Ash's Pokemon instead of trying to destroying the castle and the gardens.

Alolan Raticate: Ability: Hustle. Moves: Endeavor, Scary Face, Counter, Rest, Pursuit, Sucker Punch

Alolan Persian: Ability: Fur Coat. Moves: Swift, Power Gem, Dark Pulse, Quash, Switcheroo, Play Rough

Guzzlord: Ability: Beast Boost. Moves: Wring Out, Gastro Acid, Dragon Rage, Dragon Rush, Brutal Swing, Crunch

With Alice returning to school, Ash is now heading toward Kalos on his own. He manages to purchase the Blackish Town's famous chocolate cake, hoping that Alice will like it. There is an Inkay who wants to steal the cake on Route 8, but Ash manages to defeat him and captures it.

Once they enter Alice's house, they notice Wulfric looking at the three statues in front of them. Ash asks, "Wulfric, what's going on here?"

"Those hunters have tried to poach a Yveltal for money, and this is what happened to them." Wulfric says.

"Yveltal? Where is he?" Ash asks with slight horror.

"He's resting at the Pokemon Forest. Although he is in a rage and he's also draining the color of the forest..." Wulfric says. "We really need to stop Yveltal or else he's going to enter the city."

"I'll do it." Ash says as he rushes out of the house and enters the forest. It didn't take him so long to find Yveltal. "Yveltal! Please calm down!"

Yveltal is still blinded by rage, and it goes for Foul Play on Ash, Ash quickly takes out the Grass Whip and uses Frenzy Plant to block the attack. Ash quickly switches to Ice Arrows and tries to attack Yveltal using Ice Beam, but Yveltal dodges and is preparing to go for Oblivion Wing.

"Oh no!" Ash gasps, he knows that it will be over if Oblivion Wing manages to hit him, no matter a little or not. But suddenly Thousand Arrows appear and hits Yveltal, causing it to roar in pain. And at the same time, multiple shurikens also hit the Pokemon as Yveltal finally falls to the ground.

"Who's there?" Ash turns around, and he is surprised to see two Zygarde in Dog forms, and Greninja.

"Greninja, Squishy, Z2." Ash puts away his weapons and nods at the three Pokemon.

Squishy approaches Ash and says, "Ash, long time no see. We also got the news from Father himself."

"How dare Team Rocket tried to control everyone to badmouth you like that." Z2 says. "So we decide to go on a journey to train harshly so we can give them harsh punishments."

"Thanks, guys." Ash says. "I know you are my best friend, Greninja. Do you want to come back to our team? I can also introduce you to my wife if you want."

Greninja nods, and then they notice Yveltal is about to wake up again, Squishy says, "With the Aura Break ability, right now it is not going to attack."

Ash nods as he rushes to Yveltal, giving him Sitrus Berry. Yveltal also recognizes Ash and also gives him the Customized Pokeball, but before going back to the Pokeball, Yveltal suddenly creates a Dark Aura, and Greninja is covered by it.

"Greninja!" Ash also feels Greninja's pain, and he asks, "Yveltal, what are you doing?"

Yveltal says, "Do not worry, Chosen one. I'm giving your Greninja some of my Dark Aura powers."

And much to their surprise, after the dark mist disappears, Greninja has become a Shiny Pokemon. "A Shiny Greninja..." Ash gasps.

Greninja looks at its dark body and nods. Then they all head back to Snowbelle City. After dealing with the three Hunters, Ash brings the cake back to Sevestar Island where everyone's waiting for him.

After sharing the cake, Ash shows Greninja to all of their Pokemon. Eve says, "No way... is that the Legendary Ash-Greninja?"

"But why is it a Shiny Pokemon now?" Flora asks.

"Well, it was blessed by Yveltal..." Ash says.

"Wait, you mean you caught Yvetal? The Destruction Pokemon?" Alice gasps. "Will we be able to tame such a crazy beast?"

"Of course, we can. We won't give up until it's over." Ash says.

Some Pokemon like Charizard and Sceptile are curious about the Pokemon as they want to have a battle, and Ash also shows them the Ash-Greninja form. Then Eve wants to record the Pokemon, and she also got permission from Ash.

Greninja (Shiny): Ability: Battle Bond. Moves: Double Team, Water Shuriken, Hydro Pump, Mat Block, Feint Attack, Night Slash

Malamar: Ability: Suction Cups. Moves: Superpower, Pluck, Psycho Cut, Foul Play, Night Slash, Topsy-Turvy

Yveltal: Ability: Dark Aura. Moves: Hyper Beam, Focus Blast, Oblivion Wing, Sky Attack, Foul Play, Sucker Punch

Now Ash and Alice are in the Sinnoh Region, they are now at the Lost Tower, they capture a Murkrow and use the Dusk Stone to evolve it into a Honchkrow. Then they also find a Sneasel at Route 116 and evolve it into a Weavile using the Razor Claw at night.

"It sure is getting late... let's take a rest at the Harbor Inn in Canalave City." Alice says.

"Oh, so you've booked the place. That's good to know." Ash says.

But just as they get to the Hotel Inn, the owner says, "Welcome... kekeke... We've had a reservation for you. We've held it a long time..."

Ash and Alice feel a little creeped out when the owner laughs like that. And after giving them the room and the room key, Ash and Alice decide to sleep.

In Ash's dreams, Ash finds himself back in the day when Team Rocket started the Dark Aura. Ash tries to ignore what they said, he mutters, "Am I back in time again? Calm down, Ash... this isn't real... Team Rocket controlled them to say those words. All I need is to defeat Team Rocket and kill Giovanni to stop the control."

But without his Pokemon, and Ash realizes that he only has aura after being saved by Arceus and Aunt Ilene. So he rushes to Viridian City, seeing the same news that shows the words of the Champions.

"They were also controlled by Team Rocket... Aunt Diantha was threatened to say those things by PLA because they were holding the knife toward Elline and David. None of them are real."

The first thing that he wanted to do is to find Arceus to learn aura, and then quickly find Alice to stop the madness. But after the first part has done, Ilene and Arceus saved him and Ash got to the island and masters Aura, it is then that things started to turn downfall.

Alice didn't show up in the blizzard as she used to, and he rushed towards the house, only to find that all five of them were dead, their bodies covered with blood.

"Alice! No! Please!" Ash tries to shake Alice's body, but she already has no breath left. And then he heard laughter, and he turned to see Giovanni standing at the doorway.

"You think you could ask the Mache Family for help, you're too naive." Suddenly, Giovanni teleported away and suddenly the police arrived and is trying to arrest him. Ash screams and says, "No! This can't be happening! Alice! Alice!"

Back in the inn, Alice hears Ash's voice as she wakes up. "Ash?"

But her sleepy eyes started to widen as Ash is covered inside a Dark Void, and beside their bed, a Darkrai is there.

"Darkrai? What have you done to Ash?" Alice demands. Darkrai says, "I'm asked by my father to join your team. However, I want to know for sure how much you care for Ash as his mate. This is a trial that I gave you."

Alice feels a little angry and says, "Why should I have to prove it to you? What is your true reason for getting Ash into a nightmare? Is it really fun for you?"

"It was never fun for me to bring those nightmares. I only use nightmares to give warnings." Darkrai says. "If you are worried about him, you should wake him up right now and show him what's true and what's false."

And suddenly, Darkrai puts the Customized Pokeball on the table before going into the shadows. Alice quickly rushes to Ash and hugs him. "Ash... it's just a nightmare. I'm here..."

Ash starts to open his eyes, and Alice can see tears in his eyes. "Alice... is it really you?"

"Of course it is me. Listen, what you dreamed about isn't real. Darkrai was messing with your mind. I'm here, I won't leave you." Alice says.

"Darkrai... why would he do this?" Ash asks. "I thought I really traveled back in time..."

"I don't know why Darkrai is doing this, but you have to remember you're not alone." Alice says as Ash nods.

Honchkrow: Ability: Super Luck. Moves: Haze, Wing Attack, Astonish, Comeuppance, Foul Play, Quash

Weavile: Ability: Pickpocket. Moves: Screech, Icy Wind, Revenge, Dark Pulse, Punishment, Snatch

Darkrai: Ability: Bad Dreams. Moves: Double Team, Haze, Dream Eater, Dark Pulse, Dark Void, Nasty Plot
