Chapter 27
When Alice learns how Ash would try to hurt himself when he was alone, she knows that she can't always leave his side. It is lucky for both of them that Alice's family knows about Ash and Alice, so Alice is permitted to stay with Ash as long as she wants to.
And Ash has been trying to forget about what Team Rocket did two years ago, with Alice's and his Pokemon's help, he has been trying not to hurt himself to forget the pain. But there are some times he can't help it, and Alice has to cry in front of him to make him stop.
Right now they are in the Hoenn Region, Ash and Alice are taking the S.S. Tidal to Battle Resort. Ash says, "Although we could have just used our own ship, but sharing a public ship with the others also seems fun."
"I have to use up the S.S Tickets that I got from school somehow." Alice says. "S.S Anne is destroyed by Team Rocket in the past, and S.S Aqua is already booked."
"Yeah." Ash says. "But we did capture a lot of Pokemon before we come here."
Ash and Alice remember that they find a Poochyena at Route 101, a Sableye at Granite Cave, and an Absol near the Safari Zone. And after capturing the three Pokemon, Ash and Alice also find two Mega Stones for Sableye and Absol respectively.
"Not as much as the Water Type Pokemon that we captured around Sootopolis." Alice says. "It's a good thing that we have Palkia create an underwater world for them to rest in."
Then they notice a battle going on with the Elite Four member Sidney against a trainer. The trainer is using a Gardevoir, while Sidney is using a Mega Absol. Alice says, "That's the Hoenn Elite Four Sidney."
"Really." Ash says. "To be honest, I never met all of the Elite Four members in Hoenn. I only met Drake two times during my journey."
"I see." Alice says, "In Hoenn, there is Sidney, the Dark Type Elite Four; Phoebe, the Ghost Type Elite Four; Glacia, the Ice Type Elite Four, and then Drake, the Dragon Type Elite Four."
"Looks like you've really known a lot about us, young lady." Ash and Alice turn to see Sidney walking towards them. Sidney says, "No need to worry, your disguises are safe from me. Ash Ketchum, the World Champion, right?"
Ash says, "Yeah, that's me. As expected from the Elite Four member. By the way, nice battle you had here."
"My opponent didn't show me his full strength, so it is nothing. So what brings you on this ship?" Sidney asks.
"My wife here got two S.S tickets so we're spending time using them up. And by the way, how's the League doing?"
"I'm glad that Steven picked a good replacement after he decided to take over his old man's business. That reminds me, you have battled both Steven and Wallace before and won, if you don't mind, would you have a battle with me?"
Ash turns to Pikachu and asks, "What do you say, buddy?"
Pikachu nods as the two of them have a quick battle, with Ash's Pikachu against Sidney's Mega Absol. Everyone is surprised to see the World Champion also on the ship, and they are cheering for Ash and Sidney in this battle.
Ash is still terrified by the cheers since he still remembers the nightmare caused by Darkrai and the incident in the past. But in the end, Ash's Pikachu emerges victorious against the Absol.
"Good game. You really live up to the World Champion name." Sidney says.
"Thanks." Ash says. "It sure means a lot."
And after the ship arrives at the Battle Resort, they are also suggested by Sidney to try out the Battle Maison, a facility from the Kalos Region. The two of them enjoy some battles before they decide to go with the initial plan of relaxing.
Mightyena: Ability: Quick Feet. Moves: Take Down, Yawn, Fire Fang, Snarl, Sucker Punch, Play Rough
Sableye: Ability: Stall/Magic Bounce (Mega). Moves: Mean Look, Power Gem, Confuse Ray, Shadow Ball, Foul Play, Quash
Absol: Ability: Super Luck/Magic Bounce (Mega). Moves: Perish Song, Razor Wind, Detect, Psycho Cut, Night Slash, Sucker Punch
In the Galar Region, Ash and Alice are starting at Spikemuth, and they are capturing new Pokemon. At Route 1, they capture a Nickit who tries to steal their food. Then they also head to Route 2 to capture a Galarian Zigzagoon, and then Glimwood Tangle for Impidimp.
And when heading to the Isle of Armor, they notice Galarian Moltres flying around them. She is waiting for them and wants to join Ash and Alice's team, so they capture the Legendary Pokemon.
And by going further from the Wild Area, they arrive at a forest, Alice asks, "What is this forest?"
"This is the Forest of Okoya." Ash says. "It was also the home to a group of Zarude that would go about intimidating the other Pokémon and stealing their food."
"Sounds like a bad Pokemon..." Alice says.
"Oh, they are friendly." Ash says.
After getting to the fountain area, they manage to meet all the Zarude, which also includes Dada. Dada decides to join Ash and Alice after hearing about what happened to them.
And once they return to Sevestar Island, they continue to train the new Dark Type Galarian Pokemon and also evolve them. They also provide the Max Soup for Grimmsnarl so that it can Gigantamax.
Galarian Moltres: Ability: Berserk. Moves: Endure, Hurricane, Sky Attack, Imprison, Fiery Wrath, Memento
Thievul: Ability: Stakeout. Moves: Tail Slap, Agility, Shadow Claw, Foul Play, Parting Shot, Thief
Grimmsnarl: Ability: Pickpocket. Moves: Fake Out, Hammer Arm, False Surrender, Foul Play, Play Rough, Spirit Break
Obstagoon: Ability: Reckless. Moves: Double-Edge, Scary Face, Counter, Lick, Obstruct, Taunt
Zarude (Dada): Ability: Leaf Guard. Moves: Thrash, Jungle Healing, Power Whip, Synthesis, Hammer Arm, Bite
"I can't believe I'm now a Grade 3 student... only two more years and I'll graduate with a degree." Alice says.
"Good for you, that reminds me... when I was in grade 3 since I skip grades, I studied under Professor Raifort and learn about the Treasure of Ruins. What do you think if we capture all four of them?" Ash asks.
"Are you sure we are able to capture them?" Alice asks with a nervous tone.
"Don't worry. I'm sure they're willing to join our team." Ash says.
The first one is Wo-Chien, as it is resting in Grasswither Shrine. Alice says, "Wo-Chien's true form is the row of wooden tablets forming its shell, having been given life by the grudge of the person who wrote the Paldean king's evil deeds on them thousands of years ago, its body being a form it has constructed using its control over plant matter."
"Wo-Chien is described as being able to drain the life force of vegetation in a wide area around it, causing entire forests and fields to instantly become barren. It is known as the Tablets of Ruin." Ash says.
Wo-Chien is then captured by Ash's Pokeball because it has been sealed in an era where Pokeballs aren't a thing, and Wo-Chien also customizes the Poke Ball so it becomes the color it wants.
On the way to Icerend Shrine, Ash and Alice also find a Maschiff and capture it, evolving it into Mabosstiff to help them out.
After arriving at the shrine which is near the cliff, Alice says, "Chien-Pao's true form is that of the broken blade comprising its fangs, having been given life by the hatred of people slain by those who wielded it thousands of years ago, its body being a form it has constructed using its control over ice."
"Chien-Pao is described as being able to control 100 tons of fallen snow, causing avalanches and playing around in them innocently. It is known as the Sword of Ruin." Ash says.
Chien-Pao is then captured by Alice's Pokeball because it has been sealed in an era where Pokeballs aren't a thing, and Chien-Pao also customizes the Poke Ball so it becomes the color it wants.
The third one is Ting-Lu, as it is resting in Groundblight Shrine. Alice says, "Ting-Lu's true form is that of the ritual vessel on its head, having been given life by the fear of humans from thousands of years ago, its body being a form it has constructed using its control over the earth."
"Ting-Lu is described as being able to create fissures over 160 feet deep by slamming its head into the ground. It is known as the Vessel of Ruin." Ash says.
Like the other two Ruinous Pokemon, Ting-Lu gets into Ash's Pokeball and also customizes it.
And just before heading to the Firescrouge Shrine, they capture a Bisharp and evolve it into a Kingambit after battling 3 horde leaders in the area. After getting into a cave and head to Firescrouge Shrine, Alice says, "Chi-Yu's true form is the beads comprising its eyes, having been given life by the envy of those who desired them enough to start wars over them, its body being a form it has constructed using its control over fire.
"Chi-Yu's flames burn at over 5,400 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing it to swim through molten rock and sand and create seas of lava. It is known as the Beads of Ruin." Ash says.
After having the final member to the team, Ash says, "Now we really got all four of them."
Alice says, "So are we done?"
"We still need one more. And that's another Paradox Pokemon." Ash says.
They head to Area 0 again and this time they find a Paradox Hydreigon named Iron Jugulis. It is the Pokemon that Ash is looking for.
"Did you know that Iron Jugulis' stats are lowered than a normal Hydreigon?" Alice decides to ask, and Ash says, "Yeah, Hydreigon is a presudo Legendary Pokemon, so it has 600 base stats. But Iron Jugulis only has 570. It has lower Attack and Special Defense stats compared to the normal Hydreigon."
"That sure is something." Alice says.
Mabosstiff: Ability: Guard Dog. Moves: Swagger, Reversal, Outrage, Comeuppance, Crunch, Jaw Lock
Kingambit: Ability: Supreme Overlord. Moves: Guillotine, Fury Cutter, Kowtow Cleave, Night Slash, Iron Defense, Iron Head
Iron Jugulis: Ability: Quark Drive. Moves: Tera Blast (Dark), Air Cutter, Air Slash, Dragon Pulse, Dark Pulse, Knock Off
Wo-Chien: Ability: Tablets of Ruin. Moves: Growth, Grassy Terrain, Leaf Storm, Poison Powder, Knock Off, Runation
Chien-Pao: Ability: Sword of Ruin. Moves: Recover, Icicle Crash, Sheer Cold, Scared Sword, Runation, Throat Chop
Ting-Lu: Ability: Vessel of Ruin. Moves: Thrash, Earthquake, Fissure, Rock Slide, Memento, Ruination
Chi-Yu: Ability: Beads of Ruin. Moves: Swagger, Inferno, Overheat, Bounce, Memento, Ruination
After that, Alice is returning to Naranja Academy while Ash heads back to Sevestar Island alone to train the rest of the Dark Type Pokemon. And on his way back, he did find his mother, who is informing them about the news.
"Really? You're the new leader of the International Police? Congratulations." Ash says and the other Pokemon also cheer for her.
"Thanks, Ash." Delia says with a slight frown. "Having aura powers really helped me raise the ranks. Although I am not sure if I can be the perfect leader for crime..."
"Of course, you can, Mom. You should believe more in yourself." Ash says, and Delia smiles for her son to cheer her up.
