Chapter 28
Right now, Reisa has to partake in the Unova Grand Festival while Helen is working at the restaurant, Eve and Flora are also back at Snowbelle City, so only Ash and Alice are now at Sevestar Island.
"So what are we going to do now?" Ash asks.
"Since Reisa is taking part in the Grand Festival today, I say how about we try to cheer for her?" Alice asks.
"That is a good idea." Ash says as they prepare to go there.
Once they arrive at Nuvema Town, they are heading towards Castelia City. But on their way, they spot a poacher having a cage in his hands, inside the cage is a Porygon-Z.
"What are you doing with that Pokemon release the Pokemon right now!" Ash demands.
"Well if it isn't the World Champion? Mind your own business! I found this rare Porygon-Z and they are rare." The poacher says.
In the end, they have a battle, and eventually, the poacher lost, Ash and Alice also knock the poacher out cold before he yells at them that he has comrades in the forest. Ash and Alice also call Officer Jenny to arrest the man, and then they free the Porygon-Z.
"So where is your trainer?" Alice asks.
The Porygon-Z shows them the direction, but much to their surprise, they come across the P2 Laboratory, which is a former lab of Team Plasma. Once they get inside, they see a man waiting for them as he is sitting on a seat while facing away from them. "I see you manage to get into this place."
Ash hears the voice as he flinches, and then the man turns around revealing himself to be Dr. Colress, the scientist from Team Plasma.
"You..." Ash trembles a little as Pikachu is also sparking with electricity. Alice asks, "Ash? You know this person?"
"We've met in bad timings." Colress says. "Though I was surprised that the World Champion himself will show yourself in front of me."
Ash takes a breath and says, "He is Dr. Colress from Team Plasma. He uses EM waves to control my Pokemon when we last meet."
"And that was a failure since bonds can surpass the waves. I have learned the hard way ever since you bring me to jail." Dr. Colress says. "But it doesn't matter. My time in jail is over as I was given freedom thanks to the International Police, and trust me, I am not going to do something evil, I was just helping a friend of mine."
"Why should we believe you? And who is the friend you are talking about?" Ash demands, knowing the man is full of ambition and he is dangerous.
"Ash? Is that you?" They turn around and see a green-haired boy walking towards them. Ash is surprised and he asks, "N? What are you doing here?"
"It is nice to see you again." N says, smiling to see his friend. "We are so worried about you since we saw the news two years ago. I am sorry that you have to endure that."
"Wait, does that mean you didn't get infected by the Control Cloud?" Alice asks.
Colress says, "I am a scientist, and I know what Giovanni is up to. Since I create the Colress Machine 890, we aren't affected by the Control Cloud as long as we stay inside this lab. We also saw the news that some people with the Ice Type Pokemon destroy Team Rocket and kill the leader itself, freeing the world from control."
N says, "And that is you, right?"
Ash nods as well as Alice, but then he asks, "N, but why are you working with Dr. Colress? Aren't you enemies in the past?"
"You see, Poachers like to be in this area. It is hard for me to track down every one of them and release the Pokemon they captured, that is when I heard that Dr. Colress was released, so I decided to ask him for help." N says. "So Ash, where were you this whole time? We try to find you from the news, but you were in different spots and there is no telling where you will appear next."
Ash says, "Since you were my friend, I can tell you. I was in neither of the regions. My father has an Island and I am living on it with my girlfriend Alice here."
"I see." Colress says. "Then what brings you here?"
Alice says, "We found a Poacher that stole the Porygon-Z. And we heard his voice and he leads us to here."
N says, "So you can hear them as well." Ash and Alice nod. "I know there is something special about you when we first met, Ash."
"Thanks?" Ash says, then he comes up with an idea, "Since you are saving Pokemon from evil people, what if we help you as well? We can make a team that saves poor Pokemon."
N and Colress look at them with surprise, N says, "Well, I don't see why not. I trust your abilities since you managed to free Reshiram from his experiments back then."
Alice says, "Then why don't we have a group name as well? With this group, they will know not to mess with us."
"What are you suggesting?" Ash asks.
"How about we call ourselves Team Plasma?" Alice says as the three of them raise their eyebrows since it was the name of the former evil group. "I know it sounds like the former criminal group that was disbanded, but we can change it and make everyone believe that we don't mean any harm."
N says, "It is a risky move, but it could work."
Colress says, "Indeed. Ghetsis wanted N to be the king of the group because of his ambitions back then. But now he isn't here, I think you two can become the king and queen of our group."
Ash and Alice blush a little as N also approves of it. Then after staying for a short while, Dr. Colress asks Ash and Alice to take care of Porygon-Z since it grows a liking to them.
After that, Ash and Alice also create new uniforms with the new Team Plasma logo, the outfit is light blue and white with a hood on. As they are wearing them and look around the area, they see two poachers trying to rob two siblings of their Pokemon, so they rush out to help.
"Please, that is my Lillipup!" The girl cries as she begs the poachers, but it falls on deaf ears as the Poacher puts the Lillipup and the Pidove into the van.
"Now we should scram." The first poacher says as the second one tries to go off.
"Stop and give our Pokemon back!" The boy yells, but in vain.
"Porygon-Z, Sharpen." Just then, the Pokemon breaks the tire of the truck, causing the two Pokemon to fall as well as the poachers.
"Pidove!" "Lillipup!" The two Pokemon hug their trainers after they are released.
"Who did it?" The second Poacher yells as Ash and Alice appear in front of them, but due to them wearing uniforms, they don't recognize the two.
"We did this, you should be punished for your actions." Ash says.
"And who might you be?" The first Poacher asks.
"We are Team Plasma." Alice says, causing the siblings to be surprised.
"Team Plasma is the criminal group, right?" The girl asks the boy.
"But why..." The boy asks.
"Team Plasma, huh? I don't care if you are Team Platinum or what, you shouldn't mess with us."
"Oh, we will." Alice says as she takes out the Pokeball, "Avalugg, freeze them before Officer Jenny arrives."
Then the Pokemon freezes them as they are trapped in ice, Ash walks towards the siblings and asks, "Are you guys okay?"
The siblings don't know why, they think that the man has no hostility, so they nod. The girl asks, "Are you really Team Plasma? The criminal group who tries to rule Unova?"
Ash says with a small smile, "No, we are different than the former one. As you can see, we formed a few minutes ago as we are the new Team Plasma. Our goal is to release poor Pokemon from evil trainers and poachers, but we know you two are kind people who like Pokemon, so we are not going to harm you and your Pokemon."
After the poachers are sent to Officer Jenny, the couple decides to head back to the P2 Laboratory until they hear the siblings call them.
"Can we come as well?" The girl asks.
"Huh? Why?" Ash asks.
"We think that you are cool, to be able to help us..." The boy says.
Ash and Alice look at each other, then Ash says, "Sure. By the way." He takes off his hood as well as Alice, and then the siblings are surprised.
"That face...are you perhaps Ash Ketchum? The World Champion and the one who saved Unova from the former Team Plasma?" The girl asks in shock. "I am your biggest fan!"
"Not so loud please." Ash shushes the girl and he says, "To answer your question, yes, I am. I didn't know that the news have spread this wild..."
"We saw the news, how you were able to destroy Team Plasma and Team Flare, even Team Skull as well." The boy says.
"But we didn't know why, you were being badmouthed after the Alola League." The girl frowns. "And you don't deserve that..."
Ash smiles and says, "Well...um...I don't think I have ever asked your names."
"I am Nate and this is my sister Rosa." The boy says. "We are from the Aspertia City and we are traveling around the Unova together."
"Okay, Nate. Rosa. Thanks for standing by my side. It is true, but they are the work of Team Rocket. We managed to defeat them and free everyone from their control." Ash says.
"So you are reforming the Team Plasma? Can we join in as well?" Rosa asks.
Ash and Alice look at each other, then Ash says, "Sure. Since we only have four people. But first, we have to talk to N and Dr. Colress about it."
"Dr. Colress was the mad scientist from Team Plasma, right?" Nate asks.
"Oh, he changed. He is now a good guy." Alice says. "Don't worry."
Once they take Nate and Rosa to the P2 Laboratory, N and Colress greet them as they feel safe after seeing them. Then they are also given uniforms and they like them. Once they are finished chatting, Ash and Alice decide to bring the siblings to the contest hall to see Reisa's performance.
"Ash! I did it!" Reisa cheers after they are now alone with nobody listening to them. "I finally win my first Grand Festival."
"Good for you." Ash says. "Oh, Reisa, this is Nate and Rosa. They are also our friends."
"Oh, so you open up to more people already? Nice to meet you." Reisa says.
"Thanks. It is thanks to Ash and Alice, we are able to join Team Plasma as well." Rosa says.
"Wait, Team Plasma? You mean the criminal group in Unova?" Reisa asks. "Since when did you join them?"
"Well, we create it with the help of N and Dr. Colress." Alice says. "Since our goal is liberation, freeing Pokemon from bad trainers and poachers."
"I see." Reisa says. Ash offers to join, and she agrees. Once they are finished, they go to the P2 Laboratory so that they can take N and Dr. Colress to Sevestar Island.
Here is a new chapter, and this time it shows how Ash and Alice join Team Plasma in the original story. And this Team Plasma is based on the Black and White version instead of the Black 2 and White 2 one from the Anime. I hope you like it.
