Chapter 29
Before heading back to the P2 Lab, Ash and Alice captured a Patrat, a Lillipup, an Audino at Route 1, Minccino at Route 5. They also find a Mega Stone for Audino in the wild and also use a Shiny Stone to evolve Minccino into Cinccino.
They head to Undella Town since it is where Meloetta wants to meet them. Meloetta comes with Ridley by his side. Ridley says, "I've heard everything Meloetta. So you two are her chosen ones?"
"Yeah, I guess it is also the reason why she was with us a lot of years ago." Ash says.
"Just promise to take good care of Meloetta." Ridley says.
"Of course." Alice says, and Meloetta also floats around them with happiness before giving them her own Poke Ball.
Meloetta decides to stay outside the Pokeball for a while when they arrive at P2 Lab. Nate and Rosa are surprised to see the Melody Pokemon in front of them. "Is that a Meloetta that you have there?"
"Yeah. I helped this one back in my Unova adventures." Ash says. "Team Rocket was after it because Giovanni wanted to control Tornadus, Thundurus, and Landorus."
With the whole Team Plasma getting back to Sevestar Island, Flora, Eve, Valerie, Wulfric, Delia, and Helen are shocked to learn that they are going to revive a former criminal group and make it better. Flora, Eve, and Helen decide to help out as they also become members of Team Plasma. And Delia, as the new head of the International Police, also agrees to let Ash form the team but has to inform all their activities firsthand.
Nate and Rosa specialize in Normal and Dark-type respectively. Nate has Snorlax, Audino, Porygon-Z, Blissey, and Sqawkabilly, so Arceus decides to give him Regigigas for the team. As for Rosa, she has Alolan Muk, Lokix, Houndoom, Spiritomb, and an Alolan Persian, she is given Zarude as the new Pokemon.
Rosa and Eve have become best friends since they all specialize in Dark Type, and
The two of them are tasked with the creation of Silkan City, Route 1, and Plain Plains. They manage to make Silkan City a big city, and with the library, Ash and Alice learn that Nate dreams of becoming an author.
Ash also gathers the 30 Tauros, and he says, "Guys, there is something that I need to confess. There are 30 of you and I would only use one Tauros for battle. That's why Arceus and I decide to go with the GTS Trades. That way you're happier with other trainers."
The Tauros can only frown, but Ash also gets the point. Before they are going to trade away, they decide to give Ash their one last trample before trading away. Three of the Tauros are traded for Deerling, Bouffalant, and Rufflet in the Unova Region.
Since it is Summer, so Deerling has the Summer Form. And with the help from Unfezant and Mandibuzz, Rufflet also gets a lot of training and eventually evolves into Braviary.

Bouffalant: Ability: Soundproof. Moves: Giga Impact, Head Charge, Swords Dance, Reversal, Megahorn, Throat Chop
Braviary: Ability: Keen Eye. Moves: Crush Claw, Whirlwind, Superpower, Brave Bird, Sky Drop, Hone Claws
Meloetta: Ability: Serene Grace. Moves: Perish Song, Relic Song, Round, Wake-Up Slap, Role Play, U-turn
Due to the fact that Ash and Alice create Team Plasma, N and Colress have relocated their P2 laboratory to Sevestar Island. With the help of Colress' machine, they manage to save a lot of Pokemon from abusive trainers and also poachers. Since there is a lot of Pokemon, Ash and Alice decide to create a special Pokemon Center that not only cares for the Pokemon but also has the function of bringing Pokemon to new trainers.
The heroic deeds of Team Plasma have spread around the whole world, and people have been appreciating what the group does. And because of the promise Ash made to his mother, who is the leader of the International Police, they would sometimes come for surprise visits and check the centers. It's a good thing that Ash and the other higher-ups have trained the grunts well so that the International Police always find them not guilty.
And with speeches appearing from everywhere, Team Plasma gets to have a lot of followers who want to join. Ash and Alice welcome them with open arms unless the trainer is infiltrating the team to steal the Pokemon. They manage to find a trainer who only joins so that he can get the Pokemon that he wants. When Ash and Alice notice this, they immediately refuse to let him in. The trainer isn't going to give up and he tries to kill Ash, Ash immediately has Cinccino use Sing to make it sleep and hand him to the police.
The Champions are now having an annual meeting as Lance, being a part of the G-men, has stated about the Team Plasma. Ash decides not to attend this meeting just like Diantha, but Delia attends this one because even though she hates him, she has to hear what he has to say.
"So you say that Team Plasma has returned, but instead of ruling the region with evil, they save Pokemon from abusers or poachers?" Goodshow asks Lance.
"Yes. Even though the uniform is white, we still don't know who is under the cloaks." Lance says. "Not only that, but I also found something similar to the older Team Plasma, they also choose the new king and queen, but they aren't doing this to acquire Legendary Pokemon like what Ghetsis did."
Alder says, "From what I heard, their motto is Liberation, and they will also give away Pokemon to trainers who have a good heart. I want to think that it is maybe a kind of redemption for what they did in the past, but still, it is fishy."
Cynthia asks, "So should we trust them with this kind of thing and let them do this?"
"I think we should. Ghetsis is no longer a threat and he has already decapitated." Lance sighs. "But for Dr. Colress, he was the only member of former Team Plasma that was set free. Maybe he has joined this group, but we didn't hear him committing crimes as he did in the past."
"In my opinion, I think what matters is the Pokemon that they take care of. There aren't any attacks and protests to say that they've done something wrong." Delia says.
"Delia. Ash and Diantha haven't come to the meeting, can you tell us what is wrong with them?" Cynthia asks.
"They refuse to come." Delia says. "And I will act the same if I was in her shoes."
"Why?" Cynthia asks. "What actually happened?"
"Diantha told me that Mr. Goodshow here has the staff to hold their knives on my nephew and niece's necks, all you want is to have her badmouth Ash as the Kalos Champion. I can't believe that under Team Rocket's control, you would do this far in order to make my son suffer, you also made my family suffer as well." Delia says.
This causes the people to gasp in horror, especially Goodshow. "I did that? Why would I ever do that to them?"
"This is what we want to ask you about." Delia says. "But I guess now that all of you have been free for what? 2 years, I think we shouldn't talk about this anymore."
The other Champions can only sigh, they have been trying to get Ash's whereabouts by challenging him to the World Champions, but none of them are able to defeat him. They can tell that Ash has become stronger and stronger than they are.
"So you want to go with the Ice Type Pokemon as your Individual Study for class this semester?" Ash asks.
"Yeah." Alice says, "I already have a few of them, but I think maybe we'll need to capture them at the same time other than the Normal Type Pokemon that we're capturing right now."
Ash says, "I see. If that's the case, I can help you with that."
Then they start from Icirrus City and head to Twist Mountain. Since Alice already has a Cryogonal, their only goal is to find a Vanilluxe and a Beartic. And fortunately, they manage to find a Vanillite and a Cubchoo. So all they need is to evolve them in the end.
Vanilluxe: Ability: Snow Warning. Moves: Weather Ball, Freeze-Dry, Icicle Spear, Sheer Cold, Acid Armor, Mirror Coat
Beartic: Ability: Slush Rush. Moves: Flail, Thrash, Icicle Crash, Sheer Cold, Superpower, Rest
Cryogonal: Ability: Levitate. Moves: Solar Beam, Acid Armor, Freeze-Dry, Ice Beam, Ice Shard, Night Slash
When Alice is at school, Ash is now talking to N, and both Eve and Reisa are also joining the conversion. Ash asks, "So N, you have the ability to listen to Pokemon and hear their voices. But I don't think I can sense your aura. I want to know if you're a Psychic instead?"
N says, "I am not sure about the difference between Aura Users and Psychics, but I know for sure that I learn how to talk with Pokemon after living with them in the woods. It was then Ghetsis adopted me as his son and educated me to become the King of Team Plasma. To warp his image of the world, Ghetsis only allowed Pokémon that had been mistreated by humans to accompany me, he wants me to believe that humans and Pokemon should be separated. Most of the time I was locked in my room until I was old enough, he crowned me and have me try to befriend Reshiram."
"That's horrible..." Reisa says.
"There was a boy named Hibert, he and his Pokemon showed me that humans and Pokemon can be friends with each other. Back when I was naive, I thought that Pokedex are tools to harm Pokemon, and I also wanted to prove that I'm undefeatable by winning the League." N says.
"That means you defeat Alder?" Eve asks.
"I do, and with Reshiram, we destroyed the League building and summoned our base." N says. "Hibert tries to stop me, and he is the hero with Zekrom. We fought and I lost, and that's when Ghetsis showed his true colors... not only he used all six Pokemon to defeat Hibert, but also killed him in the end."
Ash, Eve, and Reisa gasp in horror and N says, "Reshiram and Zekrom were angry as they destroyed the castle, I was saved by Anthea and Concordia. Then we escaped together and stayed at the mansion in the fog."
"And what happened to Team Plasma?" Reisa asks.
"Most of the Team Plasma members were either killed or arrested. But Ghetsis was on the run. He also recruited Dr. Colress, and they tried to come up with another way to enslave Reshiram. And this time Ash was there."
Ash says, "Yeah... I think I know the rest." Then he decides to explain his encounter with Team Plasma to the other girls, who are surprised to hear about the whole journey.
