Chapter 30
Back at Sevestar Island, Ash and Alice have their new forms as they are brushing Pyroar's fur. Reisa, Rosa, and Nate walk toward them and Reisa asks, "Now what kind of disguise is this?"
"Well, these are the disguises of the former stylists, Namie and Reukra." Ash sighs.
"I have heard of them." Rosa says, "They are famous for their styling, Pokemon are comfortable after their styling and they were hard to reserve. But I heard that after their sponsor was dead, they stop styling the Pokemon."
"Yeah, in fact, the sponsor was my Dad." Ash laughs a little. "Since they are the disguises from my Dad and her mother."
Alice says, "Yeah. But since we already revived D&W, so we can revive them as well."
"Indeed." Nate says. "I am sure that people will like it, considering that a lot of people are comfortable with what they like to do in the past."
Rosa says, "Can you teach me how to style Pokemon? I have been a fan of them and I want to learn from them as well."
"Of course, but do you have the tools?" Alice asks, and Rosa frowns, "I don't..."
"It's fine, I can go back to my house to ask my mother if she has a spare one." Alice says.
"Are you sure I won't be a burden for you?" Rosa asks with a little worry, and Alice smiles, "Don't worry, I'll be right back." Then she disappears.
Nate turns to Ash and says, "Still, I can't believe that both of you are able to use Teleport."
"Well, we are Aura Users after all." Ash laughs. "We can use all kinds of moves for our benefit."
Just then, Ash's Rotom Phone rings as they trade two more Tauros. When Ash checks it out, he finds that it is a Furfrou and a Diggersby. Rosa says, "You have the Furfrou now! That's so good if you're going to be a stylist!"
"I know..." Ash says with a smile. Then he decides to get to know more about the two new Pokemon. And Avalugg is also helping Ash train the two Pokemon as well.
Diggersby: Ability: Huge Power. Moves: Facade, Super Fang, Hammer Arm, Earthquake, Rototiller, Bounce
Furfrou: Ability: Fur Coat. Moves: Odor Sleuth, Retaliate, Take Down, Cotton Guard, Sucker Punch, Charm
Avalugg: Ability: Ice Body. Moves: Body Slam, Sharpen, Avalanche, Icicle Crash, Wide Guard, Crunch
Once Alice goes back to the house, she is looking for the tools from the storage. "What are you doing?" Wulfric enters the storage and Alice turns around and faces him.
"Hi, Dad. I want to know if you saw Mom's Styling kit. My Ninetales needed some fur trimming, and I want to do it myself." Alice says while turning back to look for the styling kit.
"Well, if your mother hasn't changed its location, then it will be on the top shelf. Let me get it for you." Wulfric reaches his hands and searches for the kit, eventually, he finds it and then gives it to Alice, who is happy to find the same one that Namie used to style for others.
"Thanks, Dad, I really need this." Alice says as she tries to leave, but Wulfric asks, "Alice, can we talk a little?"
This causes Alice to stop her footing and then she says, "Sure, let's go into my room to talk."
After locking her room door, Alice turns to her father and asks, "What do you want to ask me about, Dad?"
Wulfric says, "Two years ago, I remember you as a shy girl who don't like to go out of the house due to what happened back in the boarding school. But right now I see you start to leave the house and sometimes you even try to play instruments, not to mention you start to help your mother cook food and sew clothes. Ash really does a good job in changing a timid girl to an independent woman like you."
Alice says, "Well, I am now an adult and I just thought that I wanted to try new things, staying at home prevents me from doing so. I just don't want to be a spoiled princess who can't do anything now that I grow up."
Wulfric is surprised, he nods and says, "I see. That sure is really mature of you to think so."
"Yes, Dad." Alice nods. "In fact, I also realized that I was bullied in the past because I couldn't defend myself, I don't want that to happen in my future life with Ash, which is why I try to stay outside the house more."
"I see." Wulfric says. "I heard from your mother that you have been doing disguises with Ash all these years, I am very proud of you for doing what your mother can't finish. But remember, the world is not safe and you have to be more careful."
"I will, bye dad." Alice then leaves the house back to the Sevestar.
Once Alice is back, Ash and Alice try out the new disguises, and together with Rosa, they post the news of their revival online. Although they have to spend some time training with the styling business. Fortunately, Furfrou is willing to help them out.
"Let's see... the dye here... the pink one is for Heart Trim, the light blue one is Star Trim, and the orange one is Diamond Trim. Those three are shapes." Ash says. Then he decides to work on the three styles, and Furfrou is really patient enough and Ash is really grateful for him.
"The Yellow one is for Debutante Trim, the purple one is for Matron Trim, and the Green one is for Dandy Trim." Alice says while reading the book. Since Ash is working on the Heart Trim right now, I think I'll pick those three to try."
Rosa says, "It doesn't need to be Furfrou if we want to style Pokemon. But I don't mind using this blue one for La Reine Trim, the Red one for Kabuki Trim, and the darker blue one for Pharaoh Trim. Since Ash is working on the Heart Trim, how about we try to style the other Pokemon?"
"Good idea." Alice says.
Then Pikachu immediately rushes to Alice, and Alice smiles and says, "So you want to be styled, Pikachu? I'll do it for you."
Pikachu then curls on Alice's lap while she cleans his fur, while Rosa decides to help her out since she doesn't have that much experience in styling. After Ash is done, he notices Pikachu enjoying the treatment from Alice.
"It seems Pikachu really enjoys it a lot." Ash says.
"Considering Pikachu is also my Pokemon now, I'm going to show him more care after all." Alice says.
"You know, I'm really happy to have a wife like you. You being in my life is the best." Ash says.
"Stop it, Ash. You're making me blush again." Alice says.
Rosa says, "Excuse me, but I don't feel like being the third wheel here. If you're done with Furfrou, then it's my turn."
"Of course, Rosa. It's a good thing that Furfrou's fur grows really fast thanks to its ability Fur Coat." Ash says. "It also halves the damage of Physical Moves."
"That is also useful in battles." Alice says as she finishes brushing Pikachu. "All done now, Pikachu."
Pikachu jumps off the lap and shakes its body, then he gives Alice a nuzzle before rushing to find other Pokemon to play with.
"So who wants to try our styling?" Ash turns to the other Pokemon, and suddenly, a lot of them are rushing toward Ash and Alice, causing them to gulp a little.
At first, they head to the Rota Kingdom. They ask if Queen Ilene is able to help them out, and with her help, they manage to find some people wanting their Pokemon to be styled. Eventually, with the news spreading out, their appointments are getting more and more. Nate also helps them with making the reservation so that they won't be very busy, while the others are having fun styling the Pokemon to make them feel good and look good as well.
On the first night, Alice is now at home helping her mother cook dinner for their family. While she is doing so, Eve is in the dining room writing some kind of essay while Flora rushes to her. "Hey, Eve. Have you heard of the news?"
"What news?" Eve asks, "I am trying to come up with a report, so I haven't seen the news yet."
"The famous stylist couple, Reukra and Namie are back." Flora says with a cheer. "I heard that they are famous at one time because of how they know what the Pokemon feels and use that to their advantage to give them the perfect style."
As she shows Eve the news, she is surprised to see all kinds of styles that the three manage to do. Eve says, "From the looks of it, they sure are amazing."
"Yeah, I really want to have them style my Gogoat, do you think I should do it?" Flora asks with a smile. Eve looks at the price and she says, "But they are really expensive. Are you sure you are able to afford that money to have them style your Pokemon?"
Alice says, "Do you think I will be taking money away from you two? Unless you want to give it to me of course."
"Are you going to tell us that Reukra and Namie are actually you and Ash again?" Eve asks with a sigh, "This is your fifth disguise already."
"Styling Pokemon is quite fun, and we want the two stylists to become famous again." Alice says with a sheepish smile. "But we also have Rosa help us out, so it won't be a problem."
"Yeah. Your disguises are really helping a lot of people. I was wondering what your disguise to help Nate and Rosa are. Although Nate doesn't seem interested in styling?"
"He is more of a novelist. He likes to read and write after all." Alice says, "Although Ash and I can also help him with some of the plots, although I don't think we really need the disguise to help him."
"True, writing stories doesn't mean that you need to show your face." Flora nods.
Valerie plates the tableware on the table and says, "I think you and Ash really are trying to be me and Red in the past, huh?"
"Well, since Ash doesn't know anything about his father, he just wants to do what he was and he wants me to help him out. And to be honest, I really enjoy using your disguises to help him out." Alice says as she places the salad on the table.
Valerie says, "In fact, you are doing much better than what Red and I did. So I really don't mind it after all."
"We don't mind it as well, so can you try to style our Pokemon one day?" Flora asks.
"Maybe we can have it tomorrow if you want." Alice chuckles.
"Only maybe?" Eve asks.
"Hey, we post the revival online, I'm pretty sure that we already have a lot of reservations already." Alice says while showing the website.
"Wow... that's a lot... I know you have the aura to teleport, or that S.S. Rainbow to travel through seas, but this is..." Flora says.
"We're not going to do all of these in one day after all." Alice says, "Maybe 10 for a day is enough. And maybe I can prioritize you two."
"That's nice." Flora says.
