Chapter 37
After trading three more Tauros for Paldean Tauros, there are only 6 more Tauros in the GTS Stations. But fortunately, the Tauros traded into Castform, Spinda, and Linoone.
Then in Hoenn, they travel to Petalburg Forest for a Slakot, who is hanging on a tree. Then they train it until it becomes a Slaking.
"Did you know that Slaking has the same base stat as a Regigigas?" Alice asks.
"Really? But its ability Truant really makes it so that it won't be overpowered." Ash says.
Then they head to Rusturf Tunnel and capture a Whismur, and they also train it to evolve into Exploud. And they also capture a Skitty at Route 116 and evolve it using a Moon Stone.
Then they head to Route 114 to capture a Zangoose, and they surprisingly find a Zangoose and a Seviper who are hiding from their groups because they don't want to fight with each other. Ash and Alice decide to capture them together so they will be protected. And they also use one of Colress' inventions to find an invisible Kecleon on the way to Route 120.
"Since we already have Glalie and Walrein that is Ice Type in Hoenn, the only one left is Regice." Ash says.
"An Ice Type Legendary other than Articuno..." Alice smiles.
In the Island Cave located on Route 105, they also find a tablet with Braille. Ash says, "Stop and wait. Wait for time to pass twice."
"So we just need to wait two minutes for the Pokemon." Alice says.
And by waiting, they manage to find Regice with the mark waiting for them. He gives them the Customized Poke Ball, and Ash recalls him before leaving the place.

Regice: Ability: Ice Body. Moves: Explosion, Hyper Beam, Blizzard, Ice Beam, Hammer Arm, Amnesia
And then in the Galar Region, the final trades of the Tauros are Greedent, Dubwool, and a Darmanitan per Alice's request.
"Aww man... we got a Darmanitan with the Gorilla Tactics..." Alice says.
"It is fine, we have ability capsules in our castle, so we can change it. And all we need is to find a Snom and an Eiscue." Ash says.
"Don't forget the Glastrier as well." Alice says. "It will be amazing if we can ride on a Glastrier..."
"Just to tell you, Glastrier is actually slow." Ash says.
Then they go to the Crown Tundra, and they find Snom at the Slipery Slope, and then they also find Eiscue at Frigid Sea. Then they manage to plant an Iceroot Carrot and find Glastrier. They also learn that Calyrex is now riding Spectrier so that Glastrier can join Ash and Alice's team.

Now back at the Sevestar Region, Ash and Alice approach Nate in the department store's library, he asks, "So how is the novel doing?"
"You mean "Love in the Darkness?" It is almost complete. Thanks to the two of you, the project is going really well." Nate says.
"No problem. Since there are a lot of haters that are targeting me out of jealousy, your book is the only way that will help us." Alice says.
"Indeed, there are a lot of posts that write about you and Ash together. And hateful rumors are also mostly targeting Alice as well." Nate frowns.
"It's a good thing that our true friends don't believe in those lies. And if I have to guess, some of them might be from my old High School. After all, I was the reason why that school was tarnished." Alice shakes her head.
Ash says, "Although I'm surprised there are some original plots that you added in the story... since I don't remember that Alice tried to push me away after killing Giovanni on that day... and I just told the news that I was the one who killed Giovanni, not Alice..."
"Well, I did put a warning on the first page. You know, those "This Story is just fiction with the permission of Ash Ketchum and his wife for the names." Do you think that's enough?"
Ash says, "It is enough. I know a few of them will try to ignore the warnings just to spice up the atmosphere. Rumors are just like water, they will eventually evaporate into the air."
"Good one." Nate says. "And that reminds me. How about your novel series: Legendary and Mythical?"
"Still the bestsellers in a lot of the libraries, some Professors want to call me to cooperate, but I already tell them that I will only collab with Professor Eve, who is my sister-in-law." Ash says.
"And since Eve's works are based on Legendary and Mythical Pokemon, the other Professors can understand it." Alice says. "We published under Professor Binary and Sylvan's names after all."
Back at the castle, Ash and Alice decide to visit the two Eevee, who is playing with two Zoroark with the Illusions. Besides them, Glaceon and Leafeon are watching over the two little ones.
"How are you doing, Eevee?" Ash asks, and the two Eevee are also happy. Delia comes and says, "Ash. I've found the report from the scientist who tortured those Eevee. These are the data of the moves."
Ash looks at the file and says, "Let's see... normal Eevee has a base stat of 325, and this one has 435... the moves are listed below:"
Alice says, "Veevee Volley: The more Eevee loves its Trainer, the greater the move's power. It never misses.

Sizzly Slide: The user cloaks itself in fire and charges at the target. This also leaves the target with a burn.
Glitzy Glow: The user bombards the target with telekinetic force. A wondrous wall of light is put up to weaken the power of the opposing Pokémon's special moves.
Baddy Bad: The user acts bad and attacks the target. A wondrous wall of light is put up to weaken the power of the opposing Pokémon's physical moves.
Sappy Seed: The user grows a gigantic stalk that scatters seeds to attack the target. The seeds drain the target's HP every turn.
Freezy Frost: The user attacks with a crystal made of cold frozen haze. It eliminates every stat change among all the Pokémon engaged in battle.
Sparkly Swirl: The user attacks the target by wrapping it with a whirlwind of an overpowering scent. This also heals all status conditions of the user's party."
Delia says, "If you look at them, they all seem to be good moves. Although it will take some time for them to learn it."
Ash nods as he is in deep thought, Alice asks, "What do you have in mind?"
"I wonder... if the scientist can do that on Eevee... I wonder if we can also create moves for Pikachu as well?"
Pikachu is surprised and Delia says, "Don't tell me you're going to experiment with Pikachu..."
"Of course, I'm not doing it unless he agrees, right, buddy?" Ash asks, and Pikachu can only nod.
"So what's all this about?" Then Valerie's family also come and join them, and Alice says, "Nothing, we're just talking about the possibility to create new moves for Pikachu."
"That will be interesting if you can create moves out of thin air. But it will be a complex procedure to register." Eve says.
But just then, they notice a brown spot on the ocean and Alice says, "Ash? I think there is something over there."
"Really? Maybe it is just some bad people polluting the ocean by throwing the trash." Ash says, "But if you want, I'll check out what it is."
As they use their telescope, they notice that the brown spot is actually a coffin. "A Coffin? And it is shaking..."
"Does that mean somebody was trapped inside the coffin? We have to save whoever is in it." Ash says as he calls out to Charizard to bring them to the coffin, they also send out Lapras and Greninja to help carry the coffin to the shore. Some people are terrified of whoever is in the coffin, Eve, being one of the bravest people, asks, "Should we open it?"
"We have to open it, I can feel whoever is in the coffin was still alive." Ash says as he opens the coffin, inside the coffin is a boy who is one year younger than Ash. Ash rushes towards the boy and they try to check his heart pulse and breathing. Ash says, "His breathing is a little weak. If we are able to save him in time, then he might be still alive."
"Quick, we have to bring him to the bed." Alice says as they rush into Ash's room so that they can put the boy in it.
As they all bring the unconscious boy to the bed, Ash is trying to do CPR on the boy, eventually, he starts to cough out ocean water and he slowly opens his eyes, much to everyone's relief.
"Calm down, you are still weak, just let us make sure you aren't in danger." Alice says as they continue to heal the boy, once it is over, Ash asks, "Are you feeling better?"
The boy nods as he looks around, he finds himself in some sort of hospital-like room. He asks, "How am I still alive?"
Ash says, "We noticed the coffin floating on the water from the beach, so we pick it up before it sinks into the ocean."
The boy can't believe that there are people who spot him inside the coffin and they are willing to save him. A lot of people in the room are looking at him with curiosity at his expression. "I am sorry, I didn't think that somebody will save a weakling like me..."
"Weakling? What are you talking about?" Delia asks as the others are also gasping in shock.
And here is a new chapter, I have decided to let Ash make a bet with Goodshow about the whole PLA, with the World Champion title on the line, and after this chapter is done, I think it is time to bring Ash's adopted siblings into the story. Of course, we are going to start with Mark, the first brother of Ash. I hope you like this chapter.
