Chapter 5: Times of Peace

Rasha

A week a fucking week had gone by since Mina tried to kill herself because of Colonel Holland, and Brittany was still fuming mad. She had been in the training room beating the shit out of anyone who was stupid enough to spar with her in this state. The main ones being her father who tried to calm her down by telling her it wasn't her fault. Thom was alive at least safely secure in Cryo Bay 1 with Mina by his side. If she ever saw Holland anytime soon! She threw a punch at the wall and it buckled under the impact of the hit and so did her fist "FUCK!"she roared.

Her father was by her side in an instant "Let me see."said her father checking her hand.

Her father chuckled and shook his head "Your like your mother, you have her temper."said her father

"Or so you tell me."she said.

Her father shook his head and lead her to a bench "You need to go to Doc you have a broken hand."said her father.

She nodded and headed out of the training room and to the medical bay, Doc saw her and shook his head "What did you do now Commander?"he asked

"My father says I broke my hand on the wall in the training room."she replied.

Doc shook his head and chuckled "At least your not sending people flying through a wall and into the vacuum of space.

She nodded and sat on the slab as Doc ran a scan on her hand. She waited "You brused it what did you do find a way to make your fist as hard as steel?"asked Doc.

She shrugged and stood up leaving the med bay and headed for her room, Emile had spent a lot of time with their children since he woke up and like the old saying went Kitten was like her daddies little girl. As soon as she entered the room Emile's eyes landed on her then went to her fist "Your father said you punched an innocent wall. What did it do to you?"Emile asked standing up.

She smiled and shook her head looking at Emile "I swore I saw Holland's face in the wall."she said.

Emile laughed and shook his head walking over to her and kissing her forehead "You my dear need to stop attacking poor walls who have done nothing to you."he said.

She looked up at her lover and father of her children "What would I do with out you?"she asked.

Emile smiled and kissed her heatedly he broke the kiss and leaned into her ear "We have the room to ourselves tonight the grandpas offered to take the twins off our hands for the night."whispered Emile.

Brittany couldn't help but smile at his words, it was no lie they needed time alone. She loved her beloved Emile and they needed time together "Will Commander White report to the hanger bay. Repeat: Will Commander White report to the hanger bay." came FILLIS'S voice over the coms.

She pulled away from her beloved Emile "I will return my love."she said.

Emile

He watched as the mother of his children left the room, he looked up at the clock and smiled in three more hours CJ and Kitten would be with his father and Brittany's father while he and his beloved got some much needed and well deserved 'Alone' time. Something flew and hit him in the back of his head. He looked back and down to see a pink bottle "Kitten, why you little trouble maker you."he said.

Kitten looked up at him with innocent eyes "You my dear daughter are the only one with a pink bottle."he said picking her up.

She just looked at him and got an evil grin on her face, it was one of his grins when he was up to something then he smelled it. His own daughter just shit on him "Kitten, I changed you not even two minuets ago you little stink weed."he whined.

Kitten laughed at him "Dada, I luv ou."said Kitten and he shook his head.

He took his daughter to the changing station, if you were to walk up to him a year and a half ago and told him he was going to fall in love and have children he would have shot you in the face and laughed, but here he was a loving woman two beautiful children. Grant it the kid's diapers could send the Covenant in full retreat he was happy.

When he was done he put Kitten back into her crib and looked at her "No more crapping on me Kitten or I will sick your mama on you."he said.

Kitten's eyes widened and she hid her face under her blanket "Go to sleep my little girl mama will be back before you know it."he said and he waited for his love to return.

Eskimo

Morgan smiled and ran to her beloved Sniper happy to see that he was finally home and back in her arms. Jun held her close and kissed the top of her head "Welcome Back NOBLE Team."said a voice

"Brittany, hows Mina holding up?"asked Carter.

Brittany's face darkened "Holland is lucky I don't show up on Reach and kick his ass all over its surface."Brittany said

"Why?"asked Carter

"Mina, almost succeeded in killing herself over Thom." Brittany growled out.

Everyone including Jun froze at the statement "Lucky for us we have a friend who got to him in time or he would be dead. Mina and Thom are both in Cryo Bay 1 if you need to know, but they both took heavy damage they will be out of action for the next six months to a year."she said.

Jun looked down at her and smiled "What about Emile?"asked Kat

"Hes with the twins." Brittany said

"I can only imagine the expression on his face on his first diaper change."said Jorge.

She was lucky Jun was holding her or she would be on the floor laughing "He swore up and down a hunter crawled up both their asses and died."she said.

Everyone laughed at this and Brittany shrugged "I know what the UNSC could use them for."Brittany said with a smirk.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head "More like what you could use them for."she said.

Brittany looked at her and it grew into an evil grin "No don't you even think about it. That is cruel and unusual torture of a prisoner."she said

"What I was just going to stuff one in Halsey's pillow before she goes to sleep."Brittany said

"Thats an idea."said Kat smiling

"Not you too Kat."she and Carter said at once.

Brittany gave an evil laugh and walked away "Come on you guys need some sleep and Jorge, Miko has plans for you as soon as you enter your room so just to give you heads up."she said.

Jorge turned three shades of red as Brittany laughed again "And what of me my Eskimo pie?" Jun asked her.

She looked at her lover and smiled "I have plans too, so go to the armory and get out of that armor and into some off duity cloths and meet me in our room."she purred to her lover.

Jun smirked and kissed her briskly "Oh I will."he said.

Rasha

As soon as she entered her room a pair of arms warped around her "We're alone."a voice purred in her ear.

She leaned into the chest of the owner of those arms "I know, oh your team has returned."she said.

Her lover chuckled "Poor Jorge is going to get it and so isn't Jun."her lover said kissing the shell of her ear.

She moaned and grind her hips into the ones behind her, a groan escaped the lips that had kissed her ear seconds ago. She turned in her lover's arms "Well? What are you waiting on Emile. We have waited for this for a while."she said

"I know baby girl, I just want to size you up before I take your breath away."he said.

She laughed softly "You my darling Emile always had a way with words."she said.

Emile's lips crashed down on hers and his toung plunged into her mouth, she moaned into his mouth as he swept her off her feet and carried her to the bed and laid her down gently. The kiss broke both of them breathing a little harder than before "I love you Brittany."Emile said

"And I love you my demon."she purred.

Emile bared his teeth at her "I better be."he growled.

She moaned when he bit her neck as her hands began to pull at his shirt and his sweatpants. His fingers had already undone her shirt and pants. His right hand cupping her breast his left traveling down her pants. He stopped and pulled back to remove his shirt, pants, and boxers. She would knew she would never get old watching him strip naked. She followed his movements, but slower she knew him by now and how he thought. She knew how to drive him crazy "Damn baby, any slower and I will ripping things off of you."he growled.

As soon as her panties were off he pulled her into bed and began to kiss her again before plunging his member deep with in her causing her back to arch and a soundless scream leave her lips.

In the after glow Emile pulled her close to him and kissed the top of her head as she drifted into a deep sleep.

Master Chief

He looked at his two grandchildren who slept peacefully in their cribs, Halsey still wanted the children. He knew that she did, but he would not let that happen to his grand children. He would not see his daughter hurt again for her gain. Lord Hood made it clear for him to spend time with Brittany and James and his three grandchildren. He smiled as Kitten opened her eyes and looked up at him "Hello my little Kitten."he said

"Gandpa."said Kitten.

He took her out of her crib and held her to his chest, oh how he wished Samantha was alive to see their grandchildren. He knew Samantha would go off on Halsey over them as well, Kitten snuggled into his chest and began to fall asleep again when there was a knock at the door "Enter."he said.

Kelly came in and smiled "Alright Grandpa, Its breakfast time for Kitten. Avery has CJ in the mess hall with Brittany and Emile."said Kelly.

He smiled and stood up taking Kitten with him to the mess hall.

Jun

His pie sure as hell was NOT a morning person, everyone had headed for the mess hall for their morning meal "Come on Morgan, its alright."he said

"Get me a coffee and I will be."she growled.

He chuckled and went to the coffee maker and got some for her. He looked over and nearly fell over seeing Emile getting some eggs thrown at his face by Kitten when she and Chief joined them. Emile looked at his daughter as Brittany wiped the face of the two fisted eater CJ's face. Morgan laughed as Avery made faces as Kitten and got egg to the face as well. He returned to her with the coffee she asked for "Thanks baby."said Morgan

"Your welcome."he said sitting down.

Things were peaceful right now and he for one would not argue with it.
