Two Months Prior

I look ahead at the locked door. Hoping the Doctor would hurry up quicker than he appeared; I closed my eyes to gather my thoughts. In an instant I was whisked away from the bombs and dreary hospital of 1941 to a dark alley in the 21st century. Two men were there fighting about something I couldn't quite make out but when one of the men drew a weapon, I did the utterly stupidest thing I could think of: run towards them. The closer I got to the men, the more I realised how much I knew them. The man with the gun had platinum blonde hair and a scar that defined his mouth into a sneer. The Master. The other bloke was none other than Captain Jack Harkness. I kept sprinting towards the two men but I kept running further and further away. With one last desperate attempt to save Jack, I screamed at the top of my lungs. A shot rang through the alleyway. I opened my eyes to see the Doctor, Jack and Rose hovering above me. I had fallen to the ground and was holding onto my stomach.

"What's the matter?" The Doctor asked. I looked away from him because this was something I wasn't about to tell him. He grabbed my hand, but I quickly pulled it away.

"Don't you use your psychic power on me!" I growled. The Doctor stood back, gobsmacked.

"How did you know that?" The Doctor quizzed, "I haven't met you before, have I?"

"No, not yet…" I let slip. Crap, too much information time to leave them behind.

"What do ya mean: Not yet?" Rose inquired, hands on hips.

"I've said more than I should've." I muttered.

"Okay, Miss Kelly you have some explaining to do!" Jack grabbed my hands and tried to drag me to the chair in the store room but I kneed him in the stomach, making him drop to the ground. With the Vortex Manipulator at the ready, I start to punch in random coordinates.

"Who are you?" The Doctor asked, looking at me dead in the eye.

"Me?" I answered innocently, "I will one day be someone you care for, love and trust. But you won't find that out for quite some time." I pressed the final button and left a crack of lightning in my dust.
