Maura awoke to the sound of her cell ringing. Ignoring it, she snuggled in closer to the warm body next to her. Smiling when a long, tan arm wrapped around her pulling her close.

After dinner the night before Jane had asked if she would like to stay. She was a little hesitant at first but reminded herself that Jane wasn't like everyone else. Jane made that much clear.

She didn't want anything from Maura other than her time and some cuddles of course.

Jane shifted slightly. "What are you thinking about over there?" She asked, her voice hoarse from sleep.

"How did you know I was thinking?" Maura replied, looking up with a soft smile.

"I could smell the gears in that big brain of yours burning from here." Jane said with a laugh. "Ouch. What did you pinch me for?"

"Because that was mean." Maura said with a pout.

Jane laughed and wrapped her arms tighter around the blonde and kissed her forehead. "I was only kidding Maur."

Maura sighed in contentment as the warmth of Jane's lips pressed against her skin. The moment didn't last long as Maura's phone rang once again.

Jane groaned dramatically and rolled over. "Shut it offff," she whined, making Maura laugh as she picked up her phone.

"It's my mother."

"Well, better answer it quickly and you make sure to tell her that we had LOTS of fun last night." Jane remarked as she slipped out of bed receiving a pillow to the face as she turned around.

Maura laughed as she answered the call. "Hello mother. Yes, I'm fine. No…."

"Hello Mrs. Isles!" Jane said loudly. "No need to worry, I took great care of Maura last ni…." She was silenced when Maura covered her mouth.

Jane squirmed away and laughed as she kissed Maura's check.

"I'll go make coffee."

Maura smiled and nodded as Constance began to rant. "Would you stop mother! My god, I'm grown. I can do what I please and not that it's any of your business, I did NOT have sex with Jane."

Maura listened as she stood from the bed, stretching her back before walking into the kitchen. Jane looked at her and grinned when Maura rolled her eyes at whatever Constance was currently saying.

"I'll be home soon mother, no, I, goodbye mother." Maura said as she hung up.

"So, how is Constance this morning?" Jane remarked sarcastically.

Both women snorted in laughter knowing full well Constance's mind was running wild.
