Chapter 6

Lilith's confession and Eda's decision.

Lilith then looked away from Eda. She sighed and said "There is something I must confess. I wanted to tell you. When you first started visiting me. But I enjoyed your visits so much. Then before I knew it you were pregnant. And I didn't want to upset you."

"What do you want to tell me?" asked Eda

"Remember when we were younger. And I wanted to get into the emperors coven so badly. I became angry and jealous of you. So much so my judgment become clouded. And I did something that I have been regretting for years." informed Lilith

"Lilly please tell me." stated Eda

Lilith sighed again and said "I am so very sorry Eda. But I'm the one who cursed you." Eda's eyes went wide and can't believe what she just heard. Just then Eda gathered her thoughts. She looked at Lilith and spat "You cursed me do you realize? How much the curse has messed with my magic? Do you realize how much the curse has aged me? And it was because of my curse! That things didn't work out between Raine and I! And it was because of my curse. That I almost left Stanley!"

"I know I know and I'm sorry Eda. That's why I too have been looking for a cure. For your curse and worked so hard. I just hope one day that you can forgive me." sobbed Lilith

Eda stood next to Lilith's bed and just stared at her. Then she turned and said "I'm going to need some time Lilly." With that said Eda left Lilith's room. She walked out of the healing clinic. Eda got out her portal door. She went through the door and is back home. The woman put away her elixir. Then she found Stan and Luna in the living room. She sat next to Stan and leaned on him. Eda put her heard on Stan's shoulder and sighed. He can tell that something is wrong so Stan asked "What's wrong babe?"

"I found out that Lilith lead a rebellion against Belos and won. And then she tells me that she was. The one that cursed me when I was younger." replied Eda

Stan thought for a minute then said "Well about the Belos thing it's a good thing. They got rid of a bad guy. And witched can use any magic they want." Then Stan went quite but then asked "Why did she curse you?"

"When we were younger Lilly and I wanted. To both join the emperor's coven together. We trained hard and I was better than Lilly. And when it came to trying out for the emperor's coven. There was only one spot available. We had to duel each other to get in. I guess Lilly become angry and jealous of me. Because she had a feeling that I'd take her to the cleaners. So she went out and got a scroll. Went into my room while I slept and cursed me. Bu on the day of the duel. I refused to duel my sister. And I was leaving I turned into. The owl beast for the first time." explained Eda

Stan listened intently and thought about what Eda just told him. Then he said "Well since you two are close in age. And you both wanted to get into the emperor's coven. That and she didn't know that. You would refuse to duel her. That and siblings that are close in age. There is bound to be sibling rivalry."

"Stan the curse messes with my magic and aging. And the curse is the reason that my first boyfriend and I didn't work out. It's also the reason that I almost left you. But I'm glad that you talked me out of leaving you." snapped Eda

"True but as long as you take your elixir. And watch how much magi you use you're fine. Plus I'm sure your sister regrets cursing you. That she has been trying to help us find my brother." assured Stan

Eda sighed and said "When she told me that she cursed me. She couldn't look at me. But when she said that she was sorry. She was looking right at me."

"There you go babe. She feels bad for what she did. And she's been trying to make things up to you. By having a relationship with you. And you got to admit that you've enjoyed your visits with Lilith." stated Stan

Eda just sighed and continued to lean against Stan. Then she said "You may be right Stanley. But I need some time." Stanley kissed Eda's forehead and said "Take all the time you need babe." Two months have passed and Luna is ten months old. Stan and Eda's little girl has started talking. So far she can say Mama and Dada. Right now Eda is getting ready to go to the Boiling Isles. She is taking Luna with her considering. Lilith hasn't seen Luna since she was born. Eda is ready to go see Lilith and talk to her. She already has the portal door ready. Eda grabbed the diaper bag.

Then she picked up Luna and put her in a fabric sling that goes around her mid section. Eda gave Stan a kiss and said "I'll see you later." Stan kissed Eda back and said "Tell you sister I say hi." Eda opened the portal door and went in. Once through the door she is on the Boiling Isles. Eda headed toward Lilith's house. Five minutes later Eda can see Lilith's house. She walked up to the house and knocked on the door. The door opened and Lilith is surprised to see Eda.

"Hello Eda I'm surprised to see you." stated Lilith

"Can I come in I would like to talk? Plus I brought Luna with me." asked Eda

Lilith let Eda inside then closed the door. Before sitting down Eda got Luna out of the sling. Lilith smiled and asked "Can I hold her?" Eda nodded and handed Luna to Lilith.

"Oh look how big you're getting Luna." cooed Lilith

Luna giggle and cooed at Lilith. Eda smiled and said "So far she's only saying mama and Dada."

"Oh how wonderful she talking." beamed Lilith

Eda smiled and said "She's also crawling. Eda watched as Lilith held Luna and tickled her. Then Eda said "Lilly I forgive you. I love you and our visits to much. To cut you out for my and Luna's life." Lilith looked at Eda said "Thank you Eda." Lilith got more comfortable with Luna. Then she said "I've been thinking about your curse." Eda looked at Lilith curious what her sister has to say.

"You can have you portal door open up anywhere you want right?" asked Lilith

"Yeah I can." replied Eda

"Well is you really want to find a cure for your course. When you're ready ask the portal door. To take you to somewhere or to someone. That might be able to help you." suggested Lilith

"Hmm I never thought of doing that. Thanks for the suggestion Lilly." stated Eda

Lilith smiled and said "You're welcome Edalyn." Eda ended up visiting Lilith for hours. Then she and Luna went home.
