This is a different take on what if Rory said yes, but not yet. Long engagement, but it was communicated more clearly and Logan had a chance to also think about it. In this story, Rory and Logan will communicate effectively. The other characters around Rory and Logan will be there, but they will be the main focus.

What if Luke and Lorelai had never broken up after getting together? What if Rory's character hadn't completely changed and her life wasn't derailed? What if instead of a random daughter appearing out of the woodwork, Luke and Lorelai got to have kids of their own? Basically, a happier ending for Gilmore Girls. This is my first posting of an "M" rated story. Set in season five after Luke and Lorelai's first break up. While this can be categorized as "adult", there's a lot of emotion. I would have preferred they got back together without Emily involved at all, so here's my version of how that could have gone. I hope you enjoy it.

Rory pens her novel 'Gilmore Girls' with the help of her editor. Takes place after A Year in the Life. Rory/Jess centric.

An idea that popped into my head based on Gilmore Girls and Taylor Swift's song Champagne Problems. What happens after Logan proposes to Rory. This is a one-shot.

Rory and Logan left so many things unsaid when they said goodbye after Rory turned down his proposal. Lucky for them, Fate had a way of bringing them back together. ('A Year In The Life' was ASP's original plan for season 8. This is how I thought it should go.)
