"Lee, a word please" Katjaa called
Lee went over to Katjaa and Kenny
"What's up? Is Duck felling alright?" Lee asked
Katjaa lifted up Duck's shirt to reveal a bite
"What the fuck" Lee said quietly
"Happened during the raid" Kenny said
"What's the plan? We've never had a bite victim in the group before" Lee asked/said
"I'm going to keep an eye on him and see what I can do, from a medical perspective" Katjaa said
"We keep the same plan unless something changes. East" Kenny said
"Guys..." Lee started
"What else is there to do!? We thought you should know" Katjaa said
"Important to stay honest with each other" Kenny said
"Anyway if you could tell Clementine and Jason we would appreciate it" Katjaa said
Lee went back to Clem and Jason
"Hey Jason. You got a second" Lee asked
Jason stood up and went little way from Clem with Lee
"Listen. Uhh. Duck is bitten" Lee said
Jason eyes widened through the mask
"Hey Ken and Kat just told me" Lee said " We need to tell Clementine as well" Lee said
Jason nodded and they both and sitted beside Clementine. She was between two of them leaning against both
"Duck is bitten" Lee said
"Huh" Clem asked
"He got bit by a walker trying to escape the hotel"
"I... don't feel good"Clem said" What about Doug?"
"Gone but won't turn"
"Because he was shot in the head"
"Yeah"
"I'm glad Carly survived but also sad Doug died" Clem said
"Yeah"
After some moments of silence
"I'm glad I have you guys" Lee said
"Me too"
Jason reached with his big hand and hugged them both
"I heard you both outside my treehouse that day and thought about dropping a hammer on one of your head's"
"Hmmm. That's nice" Lee said
"I didn't though"
"Thanks" Lee said
For a few minutes everyone was sitting in silence
Lee looked at Clem who was making a weird noice. Suddenly she lifted her head showing that she is a walker and jumped on Lee
"Clem! FUCK! What happened?!? HOLY SHIT!!! GET OFF OF ME!" Lee yelled before suddenly waking up realaizing it was all a dream
"We got something up ahead" Kenny said "Dammit. Road is blocked. Now we gotta deal with this shit"
Everyone got out of the RV to see a train standing in their way
"Is there any way around it" Ben asked
"Doesn't look like it. On foot, maybe. Can't really afford to do that now" Kenny said
"Well, shit" Carly said
"This seems like a safe area. All this brush will stop anything from creeping out on us" Lee said
"Maybe you, me and Jason should look around" Ben said
"Yeah sure. Three of us will do that. Rest of you rest" Lee said
"If you find anything to drink, i think Duck's a bit dehydrated" Katjaa said
They go into the back wagon.
"Someone lived here" Lee said
"Yeah, man. Shit. Think they're gone?" Bem asked
" I don't know. Be on the look-out and have your guard up" Lee said
Lee grabed water bottle
"I'll take this to Katjaa for Duck" He said to Jason
Lee went to Katjaa who was holding Duck
"Here's some water"
"Thanks Lee. He is allergic to bees you know"
"Is that right?"
"It's all can keep thinking about. Like somehow that matters"
"I doesn't"
"I know. Well I don't. But you're probably right"
Jason, Lee and Ben went to the front of the train and inside saw a something that looked like a walker. Jason opened the door and stabbed him with his machete only to see it's already dead
"I don't think this guy came back" Ben said
"Christ" Lee said "
Lee then noticed something
"That light is blinking"
"Push it" Ben said
"Push it?'' Lee asked
"Why not?"
"Are you fucking serious?"
"Here, look"
Ben pushed the button and train made a sound
"It's just breaks" Ben said
"Okay I'll give you that one" Lee said
Kenny came to them
"This fucker WORKS?"
"Seems like it"
"I'll be damned. How the hell do we get it started " Kenny asked
"No idea"
"Well we'll have to find a way"
"Shit. Instructions on starting the engine are here. But page is blank" Lee said "Wait here. I think I have an idea"
Lee said before he left somewhere
"Shit! Jason if we can start this we are golden"
As usual Jason said nothing
Lee came back with a pencil. He then took a page with instructions and wrung it out
"Perfect" Lee said
"You can read it now?" Kenny asked
"Yeah. Should be easy to follow"
Lee flicked some switches and pressed some buttons and train started workin
"Holy shit! We are golden" Kenny said
"Yeah we are. Golden. Man, feels good" Lee said
"Come on. Let's if it's moving" Kenny said
They try and train moves slightly but stops because they were attached
"If course. We're still attached. Can guys find find where we're stuck and get us UN stuck" Kenny said
"Yeah" Lee replied
They went behind and Jason grabbed part where they were stuck and UN stuck them with his bare hands
"Damm. I will never get used to that" Lee said " Kenny we're loose!"
Jason and Lee started to get back to the group until they heard a voice behind them
"You two touched any of my stuff"
They turned around to see a homeless man who was approaching them
Jason stood between Lee and the man. Man was scared of how big Jason is so he backed out
"Just a map of the train routes" Lee said
"T-that's alright. You can have that" said the man " I'm Chuck. Charles if you fancy"
"Lee. This is Jason" Lee introduced
"What's with the mask big fella?" Chuck asked
Jason said nothing of course
"He can't talk. And he has his reasons for wearing a mask" Lee said
"Alright then. I already meet everyone outside" Chuck said
They went outside and Clem ran up to them
"You guys meet Chuck"
"We did" Lee said
"He gave us candy! Ben too"
Chuck came close to them
" Welcome" Lee said
"Thank ya" Chuck answered
"We're glad to have you" Carly said
Lee and Jason went to Kenny who was standing next to a train
"So that's it? We cut loose" Kenny asked
"Seems that way. Yeah" Lee said
"Great" Kenny said
Everyone came close to the train. Kenny looked at Chuck
"How about a ride" Kenny asked
"Well, it sounds like you are taking my home" Chuck said
"That's a yes then"
Chuck entered the train
Clem approached Lee and Jason
"Duck's sick" She said
"Get on the train, Clementine" Kenny said
Everyone entered the train
Kenny started it and everyone drove away
Everyone was sitting in silence not making a sound until suddenly Duck started coughing
"LEE! JASON! I need you. Right now" Katjaa yelled
Duck was coughing out blood
"Would you get that off of his face. My hands are full here"
Lee took a tissue and cleaned blood of Duck's face
"He's out of time. We need to stop this train" Katjaa said
"Okay. We'll talk to Ken" Lee said
Lee and Jason went to where Kenny was
"You need to stop the train" Lee said
Kenny just glanced at the two
Lee pulled out a bloody tissue and showed it to Kenny
"Ken!"
"What the hell is that" Kenny asked
"Your son's blood" Lee said
"Get out of here yo two"
"He is dying. You know that!"
"Nobody knows shit. He'll be fine" Kenny said angry
"He won't be"
"Go back there and tell my wife everything will be fine. What is goddamn deal? He is little sick, but we can't just quit. It's a scratch! He's not like the other. Jesus, all ya'll are just makin' it worse!"
"Stop.The.Train" Lee said. Kenny speeded up" Stop it goddamn it!"
"Fuck you Lee"
"You are gonna listen" Lee said
"Or what" Kenny said as he stood up
Jason grabbed Kenny by the collar and lifted him up high.
"Easy Jason" Lee said
Jason dropped Kenny
"Shit man!" Kenny yelled
"Listen Kenny you need to calm down"
"How the fuck do you "Calm down" after a day like this"
"By talking to your friends" Lee putted his arm on Kenny's shoulder and Jason put his on the other one"Stop the train, man"
And Kenny did. He stoped the train
Train stopped and everyone got out
"Ken. It's... I think it's time" Katjaa said
Everyone looked sad
"The boy's been bit. In case you haven't figured that out" Kenny said to Chuck
"What do you need?" Lee asked
"I...i..." Kenny didn't know what to say
"Katjaa?" Lee asked
"We can't allow him to become one of those things" Katjaa said
"But what if... What if he doesn't?" Kenny asked
"Kenny, i love you very much. I love our son more than life itself. I need you to hear me. What are you saying, that he may not turn, is foolish"
"There's... come on, Kat" Kenny said
"If you think of one, you let me know" Katjaa said
"Isn't there some sort of pill, or something we can just give him..." Kenny said
"Stop it" Katjaa said quietly
"He can just drift off to sleep, right hon? I mean, Jesus, this is our son" Kenny said all panicked and frustrated
"I KNOW. But we know it's here" Katjaa pointed on her head" Or nothing"
"Well...fuck... just... who then? You want me to?" Kenny asked
"I'll do it" Lee said
"No. It should be a parent" Katjaa said
"No parent should go through something like this" Lee said
"Lee is right Kat, We can sat our goodbyes and... just let that be it" Kenny said
Jason standing there looking at parents and Duck. He was sad remembering his mother and himself when he was younger. How she died and everything else that was good and bad. He even let a tear behind the mask
"Lee, you'd be doing this family a great service" Katjaa said "Why don't we take him into the forest. So Clementine doesn't have to see"
"Yeah" Kenny said
Family went to the woods
Clementine approached Lee and Jason
"What's happening" She asked
"Duck is dying" Lee said
"I know" Clem said sad" What are you doing?"
"I'm putting him out of his misery" Lee said
"Oh"
"Look Clem. Thing will--"
(BANG)
"What the--"
"NOOO" Kenny can be heard yelling
" Ben! Take Clementine into the train! Jason come on!" Lee yelled
Jason and Lee started running towards the woods
They ran and after sometime they found Kenny crouching by Katjaa's dead body.
"KAT! KAT! KATJAA" Kenny yelled
"What the hell happened? What did you--"
"She couldn't, she just, fuck, oh fuck..." Kenny was saying
Kenny close Katjaa's eyes
Duck was breathing very heavily
Kenny was holding a gun
"What do we do?'' Keny asked
"Give me the gun, Ken. I'll do it" Lee said
Kenny gave Lee a gun
Lee pointed the gun to Duck's head and...
(BANG)
Lee shot Duck
Kenny was crying and Lee and Jason were just very sad
They went back to the train
