One quiet starry night at the Takeda Residence, a mysterious figure lurks in the shadows. He slowly crept towards the house and in a matter of minutes, started climbing up its wall. He opened up one of the windows and made his way inside the room.
"That was easier than I thought …" the stranger said with a grin on his face. He took his night vision goggles from his bag and wore it. It took him awhile to adjust his eyes in the darkness. When things started to become a bit clearer, he gasped at what he saw.
There, a few meters away from him was a girl with long hair, sitting in a chair with a mask on her face. "Well, well, well…" she said. "Looks like my predictions were correct." She stood up and made her way towards the intruder who was trying his best to back away from her. "I was expecting you."
"You know… it's bad to sneak into one's house at the middle of the night." She said.
"W-Who are you?!" the intruder demanded. He heard her smirk, "I should be the one asking you that right? But since you already asked me first… I'll tell you my name."
He fired out a bullet. He missed. Not because he was bad at aiming, it was because the girl suddenly disappeared from his sight. "W-What the-…"
"Hey there… Miss me?" a voice from behind him suddenly said. The stranger gasped. "H-How did-?" He found the girl standing behind him. He quickly turned around, but it was too late, the girl had knocked him unconscious. But before he lost his consciousness, the girl said, "My name is of no importance but I guess you know me by the name of, BLACK CAT."
"Seriously…" she muttered. "The people they send are too weak." She took of the mask of the intruder and saw that he was just about her age. "Tsk… They're recruiting young members too eh?"
She looked back and gazed at the young boy that was sleeping peacefully in his bed. "Damn. What a heavy sleeper. Good thing he's all alone tonight."
Then suddenly, she felt pain near her stomach. She touched her wound and grimaced. She saw blood in her hand. "Shit. I was careless…" she looked over at the unconscious intruder and muttered, "He's fast…"
She stood up and hoisted the young intruder up to her arms. She looked back and said, "Good night, master. Mission Complete." She jumped down from the open window, and then disappeared into the darkness.
