AN: Is it worrying that I don't remember writing this? At all? I found it on my USB stick, in the 'Prompts' folder, so I can only assume it was a response to the '101 Prompts Challenge' (No. 10 - Lies) and according to the date, it was written nearly a year ago. I get the feeling I was originally going to add more, but seeing as I can't even remember writing it, I figured I'd just leave it as it is. It's pretty pointless, so I wouldn't worry about leaving a review or anything, unless its to tell me how bad it was :). Why do I get the feeling it was slightly inspired by House MD? I think the AN is longer than the actual drabbley thing. Oops.
Everybody lies.
It's just the reason behind the lie that is different.
But everybody lies.
Take Shane Gray for example.
Yes, I know, not very surprising, is it?
But Shane Gray lies to Mitchie Torres.
"I swear, Mitch, I've never even thought of Tess Tyler like that!"
He's only lying because he doesn't want to hurt her.
But everybody lies.
Mitchie Torres is another one.
Yes, even the innocent one lies.
Mitchie Torres lies to Nate Black.
"I'm not in love with you Nate; I'm in love with Shane!"
She's only lying because she doesn't want to feel guilty.
But everybody lies.
Of course, Nate Black lies.
That's not even that surprising.
Nate Black lies to Shane Gray.
"Best mates always come first before any girl."
He's only lying because he's ashamed.
But everybody lies.
Whether the motive is good or not.
Everybody lies.
And even if they want to,
they can't stop the lies tumbling from their lips,
one after another.
Because everybody lies.
