Cady's POV
I sat in the front seat of the Jeep, staring out the window at the places I'd missed so much. There was the diner, the library, Bella's house…
"So, Cady, whatcha wanna do?" Emmett asked me, not even watching the road. I tried not to panic.
"I don't know, whatever, I guess," I replied, cringing inwardly when Emmett removed all but one of his fingers from the wheel. He grinned, and I was terrified.
"Cool!!!!!" He spun the wheel hard, slinging me against the door, and I screamed. He laughed and laughed at me as we hurtled through the grass. Every little ditch jolted the car, every jolt popped me around the seat, every pop pulled my seatbelt tighter and tighter until I could hardly breathe.
"E-e-emm-mm-mm-ett-tt-t!!!!" I choked out, my voice breaking with each bump. He slammed on the brakes, and I sighed with relief, after unbuckling to breathe. He watched me, and I knew it, but I was too busy trying to rub the red marks from my neck to care. Just as I turned to face him, he put the pedal to the metal and we were off again. I screamed louder as I was thrown from the seat to the floor. I didn't know how long this lasted, since I closed my eyes, but when the car stopped and I looked around, I was upside down, one foot on the dash, body in the floor, my hands curled around my head. Emmett's golden eyes appeared, along with his satisfied smile. I glared at him.
This would be a long day…………………………
