The night before Rose had returned to classes (The night after he broke into her room)
I sat with a bottle of vodka in hand, watching the sunshine slide through the gaps in the blinds. Why couldn't Rose have loved me? She wouldn't be in pain now, she'd be happy and I'd be happy.

Rose hadn't let me help her last night, she'd let him help her. Then in the morning when she could see her mistake and remembered he was gone, she threatens to strangle me. How very appropriate, she is so breath-taking and amazing.
