Chapter 7
Recently:
"Roza…" I knew that voice anywhere. We both turned to see my Russian god standing in the doorway.
I jumped up,
"No Dimitri, what you saw-"
He cut me off. "Just give me um just" then he was running. I used to have so many lessons just running around the track, yet I still couldn't catch up.
I kept running where he was until I lost him then I turned to the left and found his door. I banged on it over and over until Alberta came by.
"Rose what are you doing?" she asked confused.
"Talking to Dimitri" I answered casually.
"And his door" she answered sarcastically. I shrugged. Then a question came to me, "Hey why is he out did they prove him innocent?" I asked
"Actually Ishkov bailed him out, told them wasn't his fault" she explained. I stood there shocked.
"Wha- what" I stuttered.
"Yeah shocked everyone, anyway got to go" she said, she patted my shoulder and just before leaving slipped something in my hand. She walked away, and I opened my fist to see her key in my hand.
"Give it back later" she yelled back. I nodded to myself, and then I slipped it in the hole and swung the door open. There he was sitting on the bed, furniture was thrown everywhere, the curtains had been torn down and his clothes were messily packed into a suitcase that lay open in front of him. He had no shirt on just jeans and his hands were in his head. Then I realized what he was doing. He was… crying. I walked slowly over and he didn't move an inch. He didn't even try to stop the sobbing.
"How did you get into my room?" he finally asked.
"Alberta gave me a key" I explained. I put my hand on his back and he flinched.
"What- what happ…end back there I just don't-"
Cut him off.
"Um well Christian he did it he kissed me… twice, but the second time I tried to push him away" I said feeling so guilty.
"But not the first time" he whispered.
"How did you- why do you think that?" I asked confused.
"You only said the second time" he explained, and then he looked up at me. His face was stained with tears and he was a bit blotchy.
"Yeah but it was so weird, I don't know how to explain, it was so magnetic and couldn't find the will to stop it. It was so I don't know robotic it just felt like I didn't have any control over my-"
Then realization hit me, the only explanation, the only reason.
Adrian Ishkov.
