"We have an audience" the brunette in scarlet and gold told her companion. The other girl, dressed in silver and green looked up, catching sight of a group of several Gryffindors and a group of Slytherins. She laughed darkly "you want to?" she said. The one that noted the audience smirked "of course" she said "why else would we have planned it?" The silver and green clad girl smirked too "this'll cause a scandal the size of England, Potter" The one she called Potter had a cruel smirk that grew wider "you know it Black".
"Here they come" Black said as the pair stood up showing off their House colors. Both the group of Slytherins and the group of Gryffindors stopped, wondering why in Merlin's name Bellatrix Black and Jessica Potter, the two worst enemies (next to James Potter and Severus Snape) were talking. From the girls' point of view they caught the sudden stop of the two groups.
"Now or never" Jessica muttered and Bellatrix's hand swiftly cupped the girl's head and she pulled her in for a kiss. The gasp from the respective groups was enough to cause Bellatrix to deepen the kiss and Jessica to put her hands on the latter's butt and pull her lower body close.
Several teachers happened to be passing by and caught sight of the girls. Shocked into silence the teachers pretended not to see anything and hurried away. The pair only broke the kiss when they ran out of air. Jessica's eyes blazed in triumph and she saw her gaze reflected back at her. They knew from the gobsmacked gazes of the groups that their little show had the intended effect.
"It was a pleasure working with you Miss Potter" Bellatrix said loud enough to be heard by the groups. A mischievous look crossed Jessica's face "the pleasure was all mine I assure you" she said hinting darkly at an innuendo. Bellatrix smirked "I believe we've had the desired effect. Let's take a bow." Bellatrix and Jessica turned to the groups, clasped hands and took a bow "should we do an encore performance?" Jessica said dryly. They both knew the repercussions they'd face from their Houses but hey…it is April Fools and anything can happen…
