Tears stream down

As the tears stream down all around

I think of him

I remember what he wore, I remember what he said

I try to remember the smile, but all I see

Is the face of an angel so uncaring

And will never care

I see him there, but a few feet in front of me

Not a care, not a worry

I desperately will him to turn around

To look and see, to see me

To see me for whom I am

To see my hopes and dreams

To see the love I so desperately have for him

I dare him to see why it can't work

I dare him to look past the face

The face I have that's been so mocked, so denied

I dare him to feel what I feel

I dare him to risk falling in love with me

I dare him to love me for whom I am

I dare him to take a chance with me

I dare him to listen, i dare him to care

But as I'm willing you to see, you keep walking

You walk away from me

I'm left standing here

Tears streaming down, all around
