Just a little ways off, stood three people by an old, beat up truck. To her shock, it was Haymitch excitedly wavering and cat calling. Peeta was hanging out the drivers seat calling to her as well, and Katniss stood leaning in the hood. Quiet, but waving to her. They all waited for her.
Effie was sure she was never so missed in her life. By anyone. Without a second thought, she dropped her bags, and ran to meet Haymitch in an uncharacteristic hug.
