It was another normal day under the surface waves– that was, Dolphi was on house-watch again, and Fukami and Memoca had gone for another trip to the local store, despite the former's displeasure. Wadanohara and Samekichi were off by themselves again, and they weren't even sure if they were actually in the castle or not. They could have gone to patrol the perimeters of the sea along with the guards, but either way, Dolphi was quietly drawing on her sketchbook once again.

The sound of the door opening caught her attention, and as she closed the pages in her hands, she knew the others were home. Some of them anyway. Running footsteps could be heard from the living room, and as Dolphi entered to greet the people who came home, she caught a glimpse of white and yellow dash through the room and enter her and Memoca's bedroom. The sound of childish laughter rang in the walls.

Staring at the slammed doors for a while, she then turned to the octopus by the door with a confused look, who in return just sighed as he made his way to the kitchen to place the grocery bags he was holding down. Dolphi noticed the rest of the bags that were sloppily placed on the couch, most likely the ones that Memoca was holding on to before hurriedly going to their room. Picking those up as she also made her way to the kitchen, Dolphi watched Fukami for a while before walking up to him and helping him with the groceries.

The octopus was quiet, but he seemed to appreciate the help. Dolphi decided to ask about Memoca. "Um… Did something… happen?"

The look on Fukami's face immediately dropped, and it almost seemed like there was a look of utter regret on his face. Dolphi could only sweat at the side as the long haired octopus continued to take out the items from the bags grimly. "A terrible mistake." was the only thing he said in reply, which only confused the dolphin more.

Padded footsteps from the living room along with loud calling of the dolphin and octopus's names broke the seemingly quiet atmosphere, and Fukami could only sigh as Dolphi looked over in response to her name. Memoca, finally noticing they were in the kitchen, made her way there, before proudly standing by the other two as her one visible eye sparkled, matching the wide grin and bright colors on her face. Dolphi could only stare in slight shock, and Fukami, glancing only once for a brief moment, brought his sleeve on his face, completely regretting his decision to give in and buy her that yellow cat-like onesie.

"Loook, look at it, it's so cute, and it feels so nice!" Memoca continued to grin widely, mostly prattling at Dolphi as the said dolphin could only look at her in slight panic, still a little behind the other's excitement. The seagull playfully slapped Fukami on the back, the octopus merely glaring back in response. "Thanks a lot for this, Fukamin!"

The octopus stared as she laughed, before sighing and turning away to work on the groceries again. Memoca, still excited as ever, held on to a still startled Dolphi, the outfit she was wearing actually making her feel a little breezy. "This kinda feels a little too loose though, but I'm still so glad! We should visit that weird vendor more often!"

At that, Fukami paused and turned towards the seagull, but the said bird was already pulling a nervous dolphin with her out of the kitchen, still going on about how she really liked the onesie. He was then left to organize the groceries, while the two young ladies stood in the living room, Memoca still laughing as Dolphi examined the supposed costume. Noticing her look though, the seagull nudged the dolphin with her elbow, a smirk on her face as Dolphi shot a confused look.

"Oooh, you want to wear it, too, don't you?" Memoca sneered, placing her feathers on her own lips as she teased the other. Dolphi could only stammer in response. "After all, it is really cute! Isn't it?"

The dolphin could only nod a little after a moment of nervous fidgeting, scratching her cheek timidly. "Y-Yeah, it is… cute…"

Memoca beamed. "Well then! That means you want to wear it, too, right? Then, come on!"

Dolphi didn't even have time to protest as Memoca was already pulling her towards their bedroom, a certain sparkle evident in her eye as the dolphin stammered a few 'w-wait' and 'wh-what–' before the door closed behind them. Fukami felt relieved at the sudden absence of noise from the living room, and he continued to work on the groceries before he left the kitchen to rest.

Some time had passed since Memoca and Dolphi had gone to their room, and the octopus couldn't help but be curious at the shuffling that could be heard from the door that led to the said room. Thinking that the two were just doing their usual activities, he thought of just ignoring them, but a sudden thud– as if a body had fallen on the ground– led him to go and check up on them. He was, of course, worried for them, at least as their brother figure after all these years.

He knocked first. He didn't really want to walk in on the two if ever they were doing intimate activities– he learned that the hard way. The sounds of laughter and shuffling stopped, and Fukami furrowed his brows. "…Are you two alright in there?"

He quickly received responses, muffled shouts of 'Fukamin!', 'help', 'aah', 'we're stuck' and 'wahh' barely audible from the other side of the door. Now knowing that he was called for and the he wasn't going to intrude whatsoever, he opened the door, stepping in to see what the two had done and what kind of trouble they got themselves into. Needless to say, Fukami could feel his jaw slightly hanging at the sight of the two young ladies on the floor lying down on their fronts, as they seemed to share the onesie. It didn't take a genius for the octopus to figure out that the two had decided to wear the costume together, but as gravity may have it, they lost their balance and fell on the floor. Fukami sighed as he placed his sleeve on his forehead. Why does this happen.

"F-Fukamin! Thank God, you're here!" Memoca tried to look up, but she was having trouble doing so as Dolphi was just crying on the floor. Their faces were red, but Fukami couldn't figure out if it was from embarrassment or from their laughing earlier. Most likely the former. "Helppp! We can't stand or get out! Fukamin!"

Fukami sighed for the nth time. "…Fine."

The octopus figured he shouldn't just buy anything that Memoca wanted him to buy for her, in spite of her considerable persistence. It was probably for the better (for him and for Dolphi).
