Meet me at the end of the chapter to see why I haven't updated in like forever and all my "I'm sorry's". Anyway I just wanted to let you guys know that this story is nearly finished! Kyaa! Isn't that exciting? However, I'm pretty sure you guys have forgotten about this fanfic already; well, I can't blame you. :') Anyway, on with the story!

"I don't know what Laxus had done, I'm sorry but I'm not from this future world, I'm from the past. I don't know what's to come yet, and I hope it won't all lead to this. But, I'm sure whatever Laxus has done, that he's sorry for it. And he didn't mean it." I caught a whiff of her scent and I immediately recognised it. "I'm sure he loves you, I'm sure what happened was all a misunderstanding. Because for all I know, the Laxus I know, loves you, cares for you, and will do anything for you. Even if that meant death. He'd go through all the pain, just so he can make you happy again, and no matter what happens, if you fight, fall out, get a divorce; that is if you get married, which I am hoping, or for some reason you stop loving him. He will always love you, that's because," I hesitated, the girl slowly inclined her head towards me, her orbs locking with mines, only confirming my suspicion, " You're his one and only... Lucy."
Chapter 16: Lonely...
The girl flinched and leapt back, her eyes looked wild and her lips were quivering. "W-Who'
are you?" She seemed to have grasped the situation as she made a move to steady her scythe, "Who are you!"
I calmly got up and smiled, "I'm you..."
"Lies-all lies! How can you be me?" She swung Inferno and the blade sliced the space near my throat. Talk about a close one! Her hands trembled slightly as she tightly clung onto the scythe while the fire around us raged and grew; the wooden stalls nearby caught fire and moans from half-dead people permeated the air.
"I'm from the past, weren't you listening to my little speech? Sheesh, I've become really ignorant in the future." Future Lucy came nearer and dropped Inferno on the ground in front of me, the said girl started trembling while blood stained tears trickled down her face. She kept on rambling muddled words as she wiped away her tears; faster than I could comprehend, she fell to the ground, sobbing. I stumbled closer to her, avoiding the rubble and growing embers that littered the ground.
Suddenly she hugged me, "Please...please stop loving him. He'll only bring you pain..." She managed to choke out. I was confused, I wish she was more specific but I didn't press her. Reprimanding myself for being so stupid, I suddenly got an inkling as to who the person was.
"You mean Laxus? How?"
"He will betray you, and that white-haired bitch!" She sobbed uncontrollably so I started stroking her bloodied hair, in hopes to calm her. Again, I died a little inside at how unspecific she was.
White-haired...
Lissana...?
"What happened Lucy?" It was weird talking to myself but I didn't express my discomfort. I mean, who wouldn't be weirded out if they were talking to themselves? The times when Gemi and Mini transformed into me doesn't count as being weird though, I was still technically talking to them.
"He doesn't love you...he was only using you all along...to get close to her... he's a…traitor..." I felt her nails dig into my back as she cried. Eep!
"L-Lucy, you're hurting me..." I gently pried her hands from my back and led her to a safer area, one that didn't look like it could catch fire any minute; the grass was still blood stained but fewer corpses loitered the ground.
"Don't trust him, everything he ever told you was all lies. Don't believe him, please, please. I was stupid. I was in love..." She grew silent and her sobs came to a stop, "I didn't know any better. But now I have a second-chance! If you continue loving him... This will happen..."
She gestured to the destruction of Magnolia, probably even Fiore. I gasped and shuddered. "W-Who did this?" I asked, but I already had a sinking feeling as to who the person was.
"Me."
I woke up with a scream as I bolted upright. The open blinds gave sunlight a chance to enter without permission in my room, "Gahh, too bright!" I flopped back down on the bed and turned over-away from the window. I heard faint knocking on the door and sighed, "Five more minutes..." The knocking got louder and so I decided to get up and open the door, "Oh, Mira? What's wrong?" The barmaid look surprised and coughed awkwardly.
"Um, Lucy you've not gone out of your room for a long time now; it's 12:30..." I blinked my eyes quite a few times before I looked at the kawaii kitty clock on the wall and realised that she was right.
"What? Why didn't you tell me?" I ran over to the bathroom and looked myself in the mirror.
"Well I came in earlier, but you were having a nightmare. A person told me once never to wake someone up whenever they had a nightmare... Or was it never to wake someone up if they were sleepwalking?" I pulled my hair in horror while Mira just stood there mulling it over, " Hmm well there shouldn't be that much difference."
"Nightmare... That's all it was... A simple little nightmare." I sighed in relief but I couldn't shake the feeling that whatever future me said was true. I only noticed now that I refrained from using Laxus's name and only referred to Laxus as 'him'. For all I know, that could have been anyone. But, I also said that I was in love with him, and the only person I love is Laxus…
"Lucy! Lucy! Luc-"
"Yes?" Mira sighed and stopped waving her hands in front of me.
"What has gotten into you? You've been spacing out a lot and not to mention your oversleeping... Hm…"
"I'm fine Mira, I just need some fresh air..."
After taking my morning-well evening-shower I headed outside in a sulky manner. Even in the main hall everything looked a little too bright, even Gray's usually dark hair.
"What's wrong Luce? You look different somehow..." My eye twitched at his words and I sighed. As much as I love Natsu, I really didn't want to deal with him right now-especially when his bright pink hair's assaulting my eyes.
"I'm fine Natsu, just need some fresh air, that's all."
"Want me to come with you Luce? Ooo! We could go fishing!"
"No thanks Natsu, I need some time alone..." I emphasised on the 'alone' part before turning the opposite the direction and walking away. Natsu gaped at me and let out a childish whine.
"Why? Don't tell me Laxus is going fishing with you?" I massaged my temple as I repeated myself again.
"No Natsu, I just want to be alone right now." Sensing that he was going to ask me more questions I quickly took action, "Oh yeah, Gray told me not to tell you this but he told everyone that you and Lissana...you know... Did it..." I trailed off.
The pinkette scratched his head confused, "Did it? Did what?" I sighed.
"Sex, Natsu. Sex." I nonchalantly said the word and suddenly Natsu went beet red, either from embarrassment or anger, I don't know. I saw him dash off to where Gray was sitting and punch him; I rolled my eyes and giggled. "He never grows up..."
I quietly walked outside without attracting too much attention and go to a nearby forest. When I was a good distance from Fairy Tail I summoned a portal to the Dragon Realm by using specific hand gestures and soon, I was sent spiralling towards my kingdom.
Grass. That was what all I could see; the moment I set foot into the Dragon Realm something had knocked me over and sent me falling face flat on the ground. "Ouch, what was that for?" I whined. A sheepish-looking bright pink dragon came into view, which I immediately recognised as Cupid, "Cupid were you the one that knocked me over?"
"S-sorry Lucy-san! But you can't be here!" I got up and dusted the imaginary dirt on my skirt and looked at her with confusion.
"Why not? You're acting as if you're hiding something from me…" I eyed her suspiciously.
"Em...we were planning something for you and Laxus so you can't come to the castle yet…ok? Oh and don't tell anyone that I told you!" the medium sized dragon looked at me and I swear I could see her sweating bullets.
"Alrighty then, I'll just take a walk in the forest. Want to come?" I offered
"No! U-um I mean why don't we go to Magnolia? We can take a walk there!"
"But you'll be spotted! That will put the Dragon Realm in danger!"
"Don't worry I'll just shrink down to the size of a small dog, I won't be noticeable then."
"You're pink, a very bright pink for that matter." I pointed out.
"Oh don't worry, we'll just be in the forest. It's not like anyone will be there, and if someone is then I'll just disguise myself as a common monster found there. All settled? Lets go!" Cupid shrank down up until about my knees.
"You call that a small dog? I mea-w-wait! Cupid!" She head bumped into me making me stumble into her already-summoned portal. In the blink of an eye we were in the forests of Magnolia, "why did you have to hit me so hard?" I whined as I gently touched a bruise that was forming on my leg.
"S-sorry Lucy-san! Anyway you've been coming to the Dragon Realm without Laxus lately, why is that? Oh, please don't tell me you had a fight! Or worse, you've caught him cheating!"
"W-wait what? Is…Laxus going to cheat on me?" My voice broke as I forced out my question.
"No! I just thought he did. But tell me, did you guys have a fight recently?"
"No, it's just that Laxus has been busy with work that's all. I can't help but feel so lonely..."
"Ahh, so that's why you came to the Dragon Realm. It's okay Lucy-san, things will be back to normal before you can say: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious." I raised my brow at her, surprised.
"Where did you get that phrase all of a sudden?"
"I don't know... I just felt like saying it." She smiled at me cheerfully.
"Has Hikari shown you anything recently?"
"Huh? Why do you ask? We don't really talk that much unless it involves you and a mate or dragon mating in general. So no, why?"
"I had a vision...and during the vision, I don't know how, but, I was sent into the future for a couple minutes."
"So what happened in it?"
"This." I waved my hand in mid-air and an image popped up of my vision. I looked at the foliage beside me until she had seen all of it, I had seen this way too much for my liking.
"Oh my... Lucy-san..." Cupid looked up at me with her sympathetic eyes, " You do know there's a possibility that this wont happen right? It'll be fine, no need to worry..." Even then, her cheerful voice had changed to that of an unsure tone. I bit my lip and brushed the tears that were beginning to surface, Cupid nudged my legs sympathetically, but all her efforts of trying to comfort me was all in vain.
"Yeah, I know. Anyway, shouldn't we get back to the dragon realm?" She stiffened.
"W-why don't we visit Fairy Tail?" Cupid suggested. I looked at her shocked.
"Won't that endanger your existence? Celestial said no-one should know dragons still exist!"
"Blah, blah, blah, that's all I hear from her, besides, they're mages; they shouldn't reveal anything. If they do, I'll have to kill them." She pranced in the direction towards the Fairy Tail building so I decided to just follow her. We were soon in front of the building and immediately butterflies started forming in my stomach; Cupid just looked at me and grinned, showing her razor-sharp teeth gleaming against the glaring sun. I can now see why people used to be scared of dragons.
"Wait, shrink down first then hop on my shoulder. No-one should notice you then." She did, as she was told and, as small as an ant, hopped onto my shoulder. I pushed the rough and heavy wooden doors with little effort and walked into the building, a guild brawl awaited me as everyone started throwing any solid objects they could get a hold on. A large table was thrown towards my way and before I could dodge or destroy it, it hit me right in the face. I grabbed the table and slowly raised it, my glare silencing everyone immediately, " Who threw this?" I questioned.
They all moved aside and pointed at Natsu and Gray who were trying to choke each other, oblivious of my deadly glares I sent them. "You idiots!" I threw the large table towards them, which effectively stopped and crushed them at the same time.
"Lucy-san, they're very noisy aren't they? I don't understand how you manage living with them everyday" Cupid whispered in my ear, I grinned and chuckled inaudibly.
"I actually don't know how either" I heard thrashing about in the direction where I threw the table and found Natsu looking at me intensely, I gulped, suddenly nervous.
"Luce, who are you talking to?" he came over to me and started sniffing me.
"W-what are you talking about, Natsu?" he started sniffing closer and closer to my neck, I tried pushing him away but he grabbed my arms and held me in place, "s-stop it!"
"Oi flame brain, Laxus will kill you if he sees you sniffing Lucy out like that!" Gray cut in and saved me.
"Thanks Gray I owe you- Natsu! What are you doing?" he suddenly pushed Gray out of the way and started sniffing the place where Cupid was hiding. The said dragon then came out of my hair and bit his nose.
"Ow! What was that for- ehh? A small dragon?" he looked at the tiny dragon resting on my shoulder fuming angrily.
"You shouldn't be sniffing out another dragon's mate or our queen! Just for that you should die!" I grabbed Cupid by her wings as she lunged towards him, " Let me at him Lucy-san! Let me at him!" when she finally settled down I placed her on the ground and she grew to the height of my waist.
"Good going Cupid, your cover's been blown" I glared at her, the latter just growled at the pinkette but sat obediently still at my side.
"Natsu-nee! Look it's a dragon, a pink dragon…" everyone started gathering around at the sound of Romeo's voice marvelling at Cupid. "Lucy-nii is this your pet?" Romeo came closer and dared to pet Cupid's head.
" Haha, I wish, but no. I'm just their queen." I replied nonchalantly. Everyone suddenly stopped murmuring and looked at me with pale faces. "G-Guys?" Everyone suddenly bowed down to me stiffly, as pale as a ghost.
"All hail Queen Lucy, All hail Queen Lucy!" They all chanted. I sweat dropped at their antics while Cupid nodded approvingly.
"What's all this?" Master came out of his office, closely followed by a serious-looking Laxus. All I could think of now was Laxus-nobody else. I ran and eagerly enveloped him in a tight hug. He responded back by kissing my forehead.
"I missed you," I quietly whispered to him.
"I missed you too" Master was now looking at us with his raised eyebrow.
"Lucy, who's this?" Cupid ran and hid behind me with her tail behind her legs,
I was guessing she had heard of master's power.
"This," I gestured towards the dragon, " is Cupid, she's the dragon of love." I gently pushed Cupid towards master. She stopped and looked at me uncertainly. I nodded my head faintly in response. The said dragon took a deep breath and wiped all of the emotion on her face.
"I am Cupid-and though I am a lesser dragon- I do not see the point in giving you mages important information about me, that is, unless my Queen wishes to give you the information you desire." I was shocked at her formality but Master seemed to be amused by it.
" Hoho. Well, well, I never knew dragons could be so formal!' he exclaimed in a jolly voice. "Or have a queen." This time master looked at me amazed. I grinned and shrugged my shoulders.
" I didn't plan to bring her here but she insisted that she take a look around Fairy Tail, well I guess its time for you to leave now, Cupid." I gestured for Cupid to go to the woods but was interrupted halfway when Mira suddenly grabbed the dragon and started cuddling her. The said barmaid looked at me and pouted.
" What? Can't she stay a little longer? I still need to talk to her!" I sweatdropped and started pushing Cupid out the doorway.
" That's exactly what I'm afraid of," I shuddered thinking of the plans those two would've made up for the rest of the guild, " Besides, you wouldn't want someone replacing you as Fairy Tail's matchmaker, would you?" I glared at Cupid as I mumbled incoherent words. Geez, she really is a handful!
"Haha, I don't really mind Lucy," Mira replied as she started pushing Cupid back into the main hall, I looked at her dumbfounded, I really cant win against her… Giving up, I wordlessly made my way behind the bar and made myself my usual strawberry smoothie, I placed the money needed down onto the counter and made my way to where Laxus was sitting, an amused grin on his face. I gently nudge him and sip my smoothie, " What's got you smiling all of a sudden?" I teased. Laxus looked at me and let out a chuckle.
" You got your smoothie all over your mouth, Blondie," I let out a squeal and took out a mirror, he was right! The liquid was all over my mouth and sprinkles of strawberry seeds was scattered all over my lips. " I like it though," All of a sudden Laxus took me into his arms and grinned. He leaned in closer and closed his eyes, I did the same thinking he was going to kiss me, instead, his tongue darted out and started licking the contents of my smoothie from my face. " Gives me the chance to do this"
I grew flustered and pushed him away from me, " It's embarrassing" looking around me, I found that everyone was looking at us-mouths wide open. I buried myself deeper into Laxus' arms, hoping to conceal my embarrassment. I felt his arms go tighter around me as he laughed.
"You mind here?" he jokes, " We would like some privacy during our make-out session." I gasped and hit his arm. " Haha, what?" he shrugged as if he didn't know what he did wrong, which he probably did.
" Don't say that so nonchalantly! Unlike you, I'm a little self-conscious" I folded my arms over my chest and pouted. Laxus gave a little chuckle and made me sit on his lap.
" Yeah, yeah, I know. I was just teasing," he smirked, " besides, I haven't seen you in ages." I rolled my eyes and snuggled closer to him.
" It's only been just a day, Laxus" I retort, he feigned a hurt look.
" So you didn't miss me?"
" I didn't say that, baka." Rolling my eyes, I entangled myself from his embrace. " Besides, Cupid has been keeping me company s-" before I could finish my sentence, a one-legged chair fell on top of me. I didn't need much to prove my suspicion as to who threw it-only a speck of pink and gray hair. " Natsu! Gray! You're dead!"
"Crap! We hit Lucy!"
"Why are you saying we for? You're the one who threw it!"
" I did not! You're the one who threw it, Ice Princess!"
" Flame-Brain!"
" Bastard, run!"
Haha, did you guys enjoy the chappy? I wanted to post a chappy before the New Year's so I'm glad I stuck with it! Anyway, the reason why I haven't updated in forever is because I'm struggling with depression, and for those people who know what's it like to have depression will know that it's hard to come out of it or have enough motivation to do things. You can't just make yourself "snap out of it" it's easier said than done, I don't really mind sharing this really personal thing with you guys because well, you don't know me so I hardly expect you guys telling my parents or anything o.O Anyway, it's been getting worse, I really want to take anti-depressants but I need a parent or guardians permission to do that and that means revealing my depression. I hate it, I'm not eating properly, my grades are dropping, I lash out on people who doesn't deserve my anger, I get annoyed a lot, I can't sleep and when I do, I oversleep. It's horrible. My friends aren't helping either, ever heard of people being the third wheels? Well that's happening. I've never felt so worthless in my entire life, maybe because I am.
Anyway, I've tried picking myself up and forcing myself to write two chappies for you guys sorry if it isn't my best chapters, but I tried anyway.

I like the plot, but all the paragraphs seem really long and attention breaking, so maybe you should slow the story down, or space/pace it out more.

It's a good insight to what I'm doing wrong, Thank you! Me: That's soo nice to hear! Even though I could've written it better, I was a really childish writer back then, but I'm a little better now! I've been trying to improve since I've always wanted to be an author whenever I grew up, you couldn't believe how much I wanted to re-write this whole story after re-reading it. I was cringing so much it hurt. Anyway, I'm sooo sorry I haven't updated in forever. Maybe next time, I should write the whole story out already and just post the chapters. That would be easier!
