I'm Ky, a Kairu Champion. I race around the world to find a powerful energy known as Kairu. Not long ago, Lokar unleashed a power called Shadow Kairu. After going on a journey, I found Prism Kairu, a force I thought had the power to change Shadow Kairu back into normal Kairu. After using it, instead of turning all the Shadow Kairu back, it only worked on Kairu that had already been found. The rest of it transformed into something not Shadow or Pure Kairu. This new Gray Kairu changes from good to bad depending on who has it. Lokar also has a new team of E-Teens that have a type of move called a Violet Move, which increases their Kairu strength during a battle. With the odds stacked against us, we have to press on to fight Lokar and save the world from him and his Dark Teams. My quest is to save the world from Lokar by conquering all types of Kairu, and to one day ascend to the level of

REDAKAI!

Maya tried to sit up as Ky launched an attack.

"TIME CROSS!" Her eyes widened.

"Ky, no! You can't use that Attack! Master Boaddai said not to!" Suddenly, he was enveloped in a bright vortex of multiple colors. Maya's eyes were full of fear for Ky's safety. Suddenly, the vortex vanished, and Ky was on the ground, unconscious. Rueth smirked.

"Looks like that Attack was too much for him to handle!" Maya nodded and sighed.

"Yeah, but I'm glad he's okay." She turned towards Rueth. "We forfeit the Challenge. We have to take care of our teammate." The sky changed back to normal. Mae was holding the Russian doll.

"I believe this Kairu belongs to us if that's the case." Boomer walked over and threw Ky over his shoulder.

"Whatever. Right now, we don't care. Taking care of a teammate always trumps winning the Kairu." Rueth nodded, then glared at Mae.

"I believe in that too." She turned back to Maya. "As much as I don't like you guys, take care of Ky, okay?" Maya nodded, a bit surprised.

"Okay then." They left, with Ky still on Boomer's shoulder.

Ky, Rue, and Zane were sparring. Rue tried to kick Ky, but he jumped over her head. Zane smirked and tried to knee Ky in the back at the moment he landed, but Ky quickly put his hand on Zane's knee and used it to jump over Zane's head, landing behind him.

"Gotcha!" Zane and Rue smiled as Zane turned around.

"You're really good at this Ky!" He smiled at Rue.

"That's why I'm the team leader. But don't worry, one day, you'll be almost as good as me." She glared at him.

"Just because you're two years older doesn't mean you get to tease me so much! I'm just as good as you, which means, in a way, I'm better, because I'm younger!" He smiled and ruffled her hair.

"I know. You're a lot like Mom." Zane nodded.

"Yeah, you are like your mom. Didn't Master Boaddai say that she was coming by with Team Tiro today?" Ky nodded.

"Yeah, I'm really excited! I haven't seen much her since the ceremony initiating her into the Redakai." Rue nodded, frowning.

"I remember that day. Maya, Sara, and Mae tried to ruin it, along with Boomer, Techris, and that weird girl, Zecra." Zane nodded.

"That absolutely wasn't cool." He looked over at Ky, who had a weird look on his face. "Something wrong dude?" His eyes widened.

"I feel weird. Something's not right!" He turned towards them, looking panicked. He pushed them very far away from himself. "Get back!" Suddenly, all around him swirled a vortex of some sort with multiple colors. Rue looked very concerned.

"KY!" Ky looked all around him.

"What's going on?!" Then, he blacked out.

Boomer ran out of the X-Scaper right after it docked, running towards Master Boaddai, who was demonstrating manipulation of wind using Inner Kairu to Team Tiro, sweeping them off their feet in a whirlwind.

"Master B!" Master Boaddai turned around, not letting go of the wind as he listened to boomer.

"What is it Boomer? You look very troubled." He nodded.

"You know that Attack that you told Ky not to use? Well, um, he used it, and now, he's been knocked out! We don't know what it did to him, but he's not waking up!" Master's Boaddai's eyes opened in shock, but then quickly closed.

"I see." He carefully put down Team Tiro, who also looked worried. He turned to them. "Stay here and practice with your Inner Kairu. I will go see what's wrong with Ky." He started walking with Boomer.

"We're still not sure what the attack did, but he's been out for a while." Master Boaddai nodded.

"I see. I'm concerned, but I'm more surprised than anything. He's disobeyed me in the past, but he's never done something as bad as this. Once we find out what Time Cross did, I'm confiscating the X-Drive."

Maya sat next to Ky's bed, looking very worried.

"Why would you do something like that Ky? Why?" Suddenly, he started groaning. Maya smiled. "Ky! You're awake!" He put his hand to his forehead, not opening his eyes yet.

"What happened Rue?" Maya looked confused and concerned.

"Rue? Ky, it's me, Maya." Suddenly, his eyes shot open. He jumped on the bed and got into a defensive stance as he glared at her.

"Maya?! What are you doing here?!" She gave him a confused look.

"What do you mean, what am I doing here? I live here. I'm your teammate! That Attack must've messed with your head!" He shook his head, then glared at her.

"The only one trying to mess with my head is you, and it's not going to work!" he tried to punch her, but her warrior reflexes allowed her to dodge. She looked really worried.

"Ky, what's gotten into you?! Why would I be messing with your head?!" He tired to roundhouse kick her, but she flipped back, landing perfectly in the doorway.

"I'm not listening to what you're saying!" He tried to kick her again, but she moved to the right, avoiding it. Master Boaddai and Boomer ran in, concerned, while Mookee had fainted behind the pilot's seat, a questionable brown dish on his chest. Maya was now full on confused.

"Ky, calm down! What's wrong with you?!" He glared at her, trying to punch her.

"Your mind tricks won't work on me Maya! I know you're up to something. Only Lokar's granddaughter could come up with anything this vile!" She glared at him.

"Lokar being my grandfather has nothing to do with this! You're the one who tells me that all the time!" Master Boaddai stepped in between them.

"ENOUGH!" He grabbed Ky's foot as he went flying through the air, trying to kick Maya. He glared at his student. "Ky, what is the meaning of this?!" He let go of Ky's foot, and he landed on the ground.

"I don't know! All I know is that I was sparing with Rue and Zane, and next thing-" Boomer cut him off.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa there buddy! Rue and Zane? They're not a part of this team! Rue never was, and Zane got kicked out!" Ky's eye narrowed at Boomer.

"Why would I believe a word you say?" He pointed angrily at Boomer. "You're the leader of the Radikor!" Boomer's eyes widened.

"What? Ky, are you crazy? That Attack you used must've really messed with your head!" Master Boaddai looked pretty mad.

"I said enough, and I meant it!" Boomer shut up, looking a bit sheepish. Master Boaddai looked at Ky. "Now, Ky, what's the last thing you remember?" He thought about it.

"I was sparring with Zane and Rue. We were all excited about Team Tiro coming over for some training. Then, I started feeling weird. I pushed Rue and Zane away from me so they wouldn't get hurt, and after that, nothing until I woke up with that little mind mixer over there," he pointed his thumb at Maya, who folded her arms across her chest and looked about ready to say something, but didn't, "standing over me and trying to convince me that she was actually my teammate, but she used her Kairu Mind Powers once to convince Zane he was a chicken, so I'm not falling for it." Master Boaddai looked a bit confused.

"Zane was removed from the monastery for breaking the Kairu Code one too many times, and Rue died when she was a baby, only a little over one year old." Ky's eyes widened and he shook his head.

"No, that can't be true!" He turned and glared at Maya. "I never thought that you'd be able to do something like this to Master Boaddai! Release whatever hold you have on him!" She had a look on her face that showed that she was starting to get mad.

"I told you, I'm not doing anything! If anyone's mind is being messed with, it's yours." Master Boaddai put his hand on Ky's shoulder.

"I think you haven't rested enough. Maybe you should sleep a little longer." A blue light pulsed from his hand, and Ky was knocked out. Boomer freaked.

"Ky!" Maya gave him a reassuring look.

"Don't worry. Master Boaddai just did that to make Ky go to sleep. He did that to me when I had trouble sleeping as a little girl." Master Boaddai nodded. He then used his Inner Kairu to levitate Ky towards his room.

"It seems as if the affects of Time Cross are very strange. They seem to have messed with Ky's memories at the very least. If it's not only that, then I fear the potency of this X-Drive he foolishly used." He took the X-Reader out of Ky's holder. "I will take this X-Drive to the Redakai and have them examine it before returning. You two take Ky to his room where he can rest and hopefully recover from whatever the attack has done to his mind."

Ky looked around, in a place that was completely dark.

"Where am I?"

"You're asleep." He turned around and smiled.

"Rue! I knew it! Maya was playing mind games with me!" Rue shook her head.

"No, she wasn't. This Maya wasn't playing games at all. She was genuinely concerned for you." Ky raised an eyebrow.

"What do you mean, this Maya?" Rue laughed.

"You still haven't figured it out yet, have you? I bet you still think I'm real." He nodded.

"Why wouldn't I?" She laughed.

"You're asleep. I'm just about as real as your imaginary friend Bob." He glared at her.

"I told you never to mention that again!" She smiled and nodded.

"Yeah, you told Rue, but I'm not Rue. I'm your voice of reason. I just look like Rue because that's who Rue is on Team Stax, the voice of reason. I just barely get heard because Rue does such a good job." He rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms over his chest.

"Well, you're certainly acting a lot like Rue, that's for sure." She smiled.

"Of course I am. You miss her, but not as much as you miss Maya!" He blushed and glared at her.

"I don't like Maya! She's evil, and really creepy as well!" Rue rolled her eyes as she folded her hands over her chest.

"Uh huh, sure, just keep telling yourself that." She gave him a serious look. "But you really don't know what happened, do you?" He shook his head.

"No, I don't! Quit playing games Rue!" Rue laughed.

"That's right. I do like playing games, don't I?" She gave him a serious look. "But now's not the time for games, you're right. Ky, you're in another timeline." His eyes widened.

"What?" Rue nodded.

"You're in a different timeline, one where Maya's good, how I don't know, but it still happened. Boomer didn't get kicked out of the monastery, Zane did, and where I am apparently dead." Ky shook his head.

"That can't be true! I was just talking to you before I saw Maya doing whatever to my head!" Rue nodded.

"Yeah, you were, and then this Ky did something, and you guys probably switched timelines. Think about it. You remember everything you see, you just don't usually think about it unless you're in the middle of a Challenge. You can't forget about that eidetic memory, it's literally impossible. Try and remember how 'your' bedroom looked before you started battling Maya." He closed his eyes (forgetting he was technically asleep and already had his eyes closed) and thought about the room. It was true. He did remember everything. And he looked at some of the pictures, and realized they were all of him and Boomer, or him and Maya, or him and Boomer and Maya. Not a single one was of him and Rue, or him and Zane, or him and Rue and Zane. They just weren't there. He opened his eyes (which, again, were still technically closed because he was asleep) in shock.

"The pictures! None of them have Zane, or you! They all have Boomer and Maya! So that means-" Rue nodded.

"Yep, you are most definitely in a different timeline. There's no way Maya could've faked those pictures, and let's face it, our Boomer isn't smart enough to do that kind of thing, although," she out her finger on her chin, "sometimes I'm not sure if it's actually his intelligence levels, or if it's because he regrets what he did, and is somehow trying to make up for it by making it too easy for us to win." Ky rolled his eyes.

"Focus Rue! Man, my subconscious perfectly replicated you, easily taken off track and everything!" She laughed.

"That it did. That it did." She got serious once more. "But seriously, you need to figure out what the hell Ky did that caused you and him to switch timelines. And, it might be nice to figure out what cause the timeline change. What makes one timeline different from the other? Although it's not important, you know that I'll want to know." She smiled at him. "But it doesn't matter anymore, since you're waking up."

"What? Rue, wait!" Suddenly, he shot out of bed. Master Boaddai, Boomer, and Maya were by his side. Master Boaddai still looked concerned

"Ky, are you alright?" He sat up, looking pretty depressed.

"No, I'm not. Nothing's okay right now." Maya and Boomer looked at each other, confused. Then Boomer gave him a weak smile.

"Hey, cheer up buddy! Whatever's gone wrong, I'm sure we can fix it." He looked up at Boomer and shook his head.

"No, you can't. I know what happened. This Ky did something or other that I don't know, and switched places with me. I'm a Ky from a different timeline." Boomer's eyes widened and he shook his head.

"That can't be true! There's no way that anything, not even Kairu, could do something that powerful! I mean, a Kairu Body Swap is more likely than Kairu Time Travel." Maya, looking shocked and a bit sad, looked at Boomer, and easily figured it out.

"Yes, Kairu can. Think about it. The Attack was called Time Cross. If you add the word 'line' in there, it becomes Timeline Cross. When Ky used Time Cross, he switched places with this Ky right in front of us." Master Boaddai nodded.

"That would make the most sense." Ky nodded.

"Now, the question is, how do I get back to my own timeline." Maya nodded.

"And how do we get our Ky back?" Master Boaddai stood up.

"I'm not sure. I will go discuss this with the Redakai, and see if any of them have heard of this situation, or have heard of how to fix it. For all we know, there is no way to reverse this, and the two Kys could be switched forever, but since we still have the attack in the X-Reader, and the other Redakai are currently examining it as we speak, so I think we should be able to come up with a solution. Until then, you are not to touch the Time Cross Attack or your X-Reader in general." He then left. Boomer gave Ky a weird look.

"So, um, you're from another timeline?" He nodded.

"Yeah, at least, as far as I can tell." Maya stood up, tears in her eyes.

"I'm sorry, this is too much. I'm just gonna go to my room." She ran out of the room, wiping away the tears. Ky gave Boomer a look.

"What was that all about?" Boomer shrugged.

"I don't know." He looked at the doorway she had just gone through.

"Maybe I should go talk to her." Boomer raised an eyebrow.

"I don't think that's a good idea. She said it was too much. I don't think she'd want to talk to you right now." He smiled confidently.

"Trust me, I know how to get a girl out of the dumps. I have a little sister in my timeline, remember?" He started walking out the door. "I'll be able to cheer her up, no sweat." He left. Boomer looked worried.

"I sure hope he's right, cause things can get pretty bad when Maya's mad."

She was lying down on her bed, eyes still full of tears as she looked at a picture of her, Boomer, and Ky together. They were all laughing and looking pretty happy.

"Why Ky? Why'd you have to do something so stupid?!" Then, someone knocked on the door.

"Hey Maya, it's me. Is it okay if I come in?" She frowned at the door.

"No, you can't."

"Too bad, I'm coming in anyway. I'll give you a few seconds to fix yourself up." She glared at the door as she wiped away her tears and sat up, putting the picture under her pillow. A little later, Ky walked in. "I know it's rude to come in a girl's room without permission, but I think this can be an exception." She kept glaring at him.

"Is that something your Master Boaddai taught you?" He shook his head as he went to sit next to her.

"No, it's something I learned over the years from having a little sister. So, what's the matter? I know I'm not your Ky, but just pretend I am, just for a little bit." She raised an eyebrow, not so mad as before, but now curious.

"And where did you learn that one? From having a little sister?" He nodded.

"Yeah. If I pretended to be Mom or Dad, she found it easier to tell them sometimes, especially if they weren't there. So, for the purpose of this, just pretend I'm Ky." She laughed.

"Well, Ky would be fidgety and nervous about being in a girl's room. He's not comfortable just barging in like you are." He laughed.

"Really? So, you want me to fidget around? I can do that." He started looking down, as if he were embarrassed, and started messing with the hem on his pants, looking like a guy not comfortable in a girl's room. Maya laughed.

"You've definitely got it down!" She looked at the ground. "But it's still not the same. I'm sorry, you guys are really similar, but there's just something different." He nodded.

"Of course there's something different about me. I've had different experiences than your Ky. But, I bet I'm still more awesome that him!" Maya smiled and laughed a little.

"That definitely sounds like something my Ky would say. I wonder how he's doing." Ky nodded.

"I'm thinking that too. Not about your Ky of course, but about everyone else. He'd probably be really confused about Rue, and I don't know what he'd do about Zane." Maya laughed.

"He'd probably attack Zane, since he's the leader of Team Radikor here." Ky's eyes widened.

"What?!" Maya nodded, now looking serious.

"Yeah, he got kicked out of the monastery, like Master Boaddai said earlier. He tried to use the Reflected Glory Attack." He looked pretty shocked.

"But, Boomer's the one who tried to use the Reflected Glory Attack!" Maya's eyes widened.

"Boomer broke the Kairu Code? I thought, maybe, that Lokar had gotten to him before Master Boaddai found him." Ky shook his head.

"No, he was a student until he tried to use that Attack. It was on his X-Reader and everything." Maya shook her head.

"It's just hard to believe. I never would've thought that Boomer would do something like that." Ky nodded.

"But he did. This Boomer seems different though. I'm glad he's a friend here." Maya nodded. Then, she sighed and looked down at the floor.

"Not to be rude, but do you think you'll be able to go home?" He shrugged.

"I don't really know. All I know is that everything here just seems weird." He looked at the walls, and then noticed something. There were pictures of her with Ky and Boomer, but there were more of her with Ky than any other picture. His eyes widened in realization. "So that's it." Maya gave him a confused look.

"What do you mean?" He smiled deviously at Maya.

"You have a crush on your Ky!" She blushed and looked down at the floor as she violently shook her head.

"No I don't! I already have a guy anyway, Kieran McCann." Ky raised an eyebrow.

"Kieran?" He laughed. "You mean that king guy who had the Kairu Chalice? He's married!" Maya folded her arms over her chest.

"That may be in your timeline, but in mine, he doesn't have a wife." Ky laughed.

"Yeah, but he had a 10-year-old son as well! Even though the events are different, I'm pretty sure that everyone is still the same age in both timelines! He's in his 30s!" Maya blushed with embarrassment.

"What?" Ky nodded, still laughing.

"Yeah, he is. Does he even know how old you are?" Maya looked away from him, towards the other direction.

"Well, no, I don't think he does." He laughed.

"I'm sorry, but this is just too funny. He doesn't know you're a teenager!" He forced himself to stop laughing, but was still smiling. "You should probably send him a message, letting him know. Wait, ask him if he knew first, and then tell him you're only, what, 15?"

"16. My birthday wasn't that long ago." He nodded.

"Then tell him you're 16." He smiled. "After that, say you're in love with Ky anyway!" She glared at him, her face red.

"I am not in love with Ky!" He crossed his arms over his chest.

"You really think that I believe you? Rue has a huge crush on Ekayon, and she acted the same way when I asked her about it. Of course, to her face, I teased her, but if Ekayon ever tries to make a move, then stuff's going down!" He looked so serious about it that Maya burst out laughing.

"Big brother you is a lot different from other you!" He gave her a serious.

"You're trying to change the subject. Rue did the exact same thing. She acts a lot like my mom. You act a lot like her too, both Rue and my mom." Maya blushed.

"But, every girl who's a Kairu Warrior wants to be as good as her!" Ky nodded.

"Yeah, and you are as good as her. Not Redakai good, but you're still a lot like her. But," he looked straight at her, "why won't you admit to having a crush on your Ky? It's not like I can tell him." Maya sighed.

"Ky is my teammate, but more than that, he's my leader."

"It's okay to like your teammate, and your leader. My dad was the leader of Team Vertou, and my mom was in love with him. And everything turned out fine. They even had two amazing, kick butt Kairu Warriors together! So, if you're worried that your crush on Ky would ruin something, then don't be. I'm sure your Ky would like you, probably as much as you like him." Maya glared at him.

"And how would you know." He sighed, his elbows on his legs, and looking down at the ground.

"Because, honestly, I think I really like my Maya, like more than I should since she's my enemy." Maya's eyes widened.

"I'm like that in your timeline, and you're in love with that version of me?" He nodded, looking back at her.

"Yeah, I am. Now that I'm not in my timeline, it's easier to admit that. I won't say anything there, though, at least not until I can get my Maya to realize that she's really good at heart. I think she is, I honestly do." Maya smiled, but then frowned and looked down, sighing.

"If only that were true." Ky looked concerned.

"What's wrong?" She looked at him.

"I'm sorry, but, even if you're not my Ky, I still don't feel comfortable telling you anything." He shrugged.

"Okay, but I'm sure I'm gonna be able to go back to my timeline. I mean, once you get all of the Redakai involved, I'm sure they'll figure out a good plan. And even if, I won't tell anyone. Scout's honor!" She narrowed her eyes at him.

"You were never a scout." He smirked at her.

"How do you know that? Different timelines, remember? For all you know, I'm an Eagle Scout!" She tapped her chin.

"I suppose so, but I doubt any Ky would want to be in the Scouts. Why do Boy Scouts when you can do combat training?" He laughed at that.

"You got me there!" He leaned back on the bed. "But seriously, maybe I can help even." She looked away.

"Well, uh… do you have the Prism Kairu?" He raised an eyebrow.

"What's Prism Kairu?" She sighed.

"Never mind." He sat upright, leaning forward.

"No, tell me. I've never heard of Prism Kairu before. It sounds interesting!" She smiled.

"Well, it is pretty interesting. It's a solid Kairu." His eyes widened.

"Wait, solid? There's a kind of Kairu that's solid?!" She laughed at his reaction and nodded.

"Yeah! It's a purifying kind of Kairu. It turned the Shadow Kairu back into Pure Kairu, but any Shadow Kairu deposits that hadn't been found were turned into Gray Kairu." He raised an eyebrow.

"There's that many different kinds of Kairu here?" She nodded.

"Well, yeah. Lokar corrupted the Kairu he collected and turned it into Shadow Kairu. But Ky went on a quest to fix it and he brought back the Prism Kairu. It's a part of his Platinum Metanoid." Ky leaned in close to her face, the excitement evident in his eyes.

"THERE'S PLATINUM MONSTERS?!" She leaned back, a bit freaked out.

"Uh… yeah? Seriously, did someone else nab the Kairu Champion title?" He leaned back, realizing he was freaking her out.

"Sorry. And no, it's been nearly nonstop battles. Things have been really tough in my timeline. We barely have time to sleep some days. But I'm sure we'll have one eventually. And I bet it'll be me!" She smiled and nodded.

"Alright then! Do your best and try to win it all!" He smiled back at her.

"Don't worry, I will. But now let's get back to the original point. What'd you need the Prism Kairu for?" She sighed and looked down.

"Gray Kairu gives you X-Drives depending on who you are. Ky and Boomer always get the same kind of X-Drives that they'd get if they were Pure Kairu, but I-I… I almost always get Shadow Kairu X-Drives. At the very least, if I get enough Kairu for more than 1 X-Drive, it's split between regular X-Drives and Shadow X-Drives." She put her face in her hands. "If I'm not really evil at heart, then why do I keep getting them?! It can't be a coincidence!" He looked at her sadly and put a hand on her shoulder.

"It's okay Maya. There are some things you can't help. But you know what? If Lokar created the Shadow Kairu, maybe it's only responding to you because you're his granddaughter. It makes sense." She sighed.

"I guess it does, in a way, but what if it's just me?" He smiled at her.

"Come on, you were raised by Master Boaddai. Evil doesn't come from your DNA but from your surroundings. The people you grew up with and care about. There's no way you're just evil because you happen to be related to Lokar." She smiled at him.

"You really think so?" He nodded.

"I know so." He stood up. "Now, I'm hungry, I'm gonna see if Keema's got anything ready to eat yet." She raised an eyebrow.

"Keema? He works with Team Tiro. It'd be Mookee that you get your food from." He raised an eyebrow.

"Moo… kee?" She sighed.

"Never mind. Come on, let me show you where the edible food would be." She stood up and opened the door. Ky smiled and stood up, following her, but not before they both bumped into Connor Stax.

"Maya? Ky? What were you two doing in there?" Maya blushed and back up, her arms raised.

"N-Nothing, just talking!" Ky, however, stood there, completely still as he stared up at the man.

"Dad…?" He hugged him tightly, tearing up. Connor was a bit surprised, but hugged him back.

"Ky… Master Boaddai told me of your predicament. I'm sorry you were thrown into such a bizarre situation." Ky nodded, not letting go of his father.

"Yeah, but… it's so good to see you again. I missed you…" He finally let go and wiped his eyes. Connor smiled and put his hand on Ky's shoulder.

"I wish I could say the same, but I can usually talk to my son whenever I want to." Ky started looking around.

"Where's mom? Is she with you?" Connor's eyes widened.

"Rachel? But she's-" he stopped himself. "Rachel is alive in your timeline?" Ky's eyes widened.

"You mean… she's not alive here…?" Connor shook his head sadly.

"She was very sick when she had Rue. She died two weeks after birth." Ky shook his head.

"That's can't be! Mom's so strong…" Connor sighed.

"I know what you mean, but that's all there is to it." He patted Ky's shoulder. "Don't worry, we'll get you back to your mother shortly." Ky nodded.

"Alright…" He looked back at Maya. "You cool now?" She smiled and nodded.

"Yeah… I think so. Now go, spend some time with your dad while you can." He nodded and looked up at Connor.

"Do you think that'd be okay? It… it wouldn't be too weird, would it?" Connor smiled.

"Of course not. Different timeline or not, you're still my son." Ky smiled brightly and hugged him again before they walked off.

The Redakai, short of Connor, were all gathered together as Master Boaddai entered the meditation room, sitting down next to Master Quantis.

"I've just been informed that this Ky is from a completely different timeline. Maya theorized that when Ky used the Time Cross Attack, it made him switch places with the Ky from another timeline, an alternate timeline. I suspect that our Ky has been thrown into just as much of a state of confusion as this Ky has been. I sent Connor to calm him down, so he won't be joining us." Master Atoch nodded.

"I understand. We've been examining the X-Drive, and we came to the same conclusion. Theoretically, we can have this Ky use it again and he could be switched back with the Ky from this timeline." Master Boaddai raised an eyebrow.

"Theoretically?" Master Quantis nodded.

"Yes, theoretically. Unfortunately, this X-Drive chooses timelines at random. If we don't use it carefully, we could end up with another Ky altogether, and perhaps from a far more twisted timeline. You told us of the things Ky spoke of. Maya and Boomer being evil? That seems extremely unlikely to all of us that in any timeline that they could be evil, or there being a timeline where Zane is good. For all we know, we will switch one good Ky for an evil Ky. We were lucky to not receive an evil Ky the first time." Master Boaddai nodded.

"I understand. Did any of you discover a way to try and control it?" A Redakai with a thinning, blonde hairline nodded.

"Yes, we have. We think that if Time Cross were to be used again in both timelines, we could, in theory, switch them. The only problem is knowing when the other timeline would use it. Would they even want to risk it?"

"We have no other choice but to try Master Tarkana," said Master Quantis. "Besides, our Ky views Zane as an enemy, but Maya and Boomer as friends. He wouldn't be able to work with his team very well in that situation, and it could take years for his natural reflexes to be overcome. I think it's safe to say that they'll try to bring him to the right timeline and retrieve their Ky." Master Boaddai nodded.

"That's very true. And we will try our best to send Ky back to his timeline. Perhaps if we access and meditate on the X-Drive, we can connect to the proper timeline." Master Quantis nodded.

"It's worth a try, but first we need all of the Redakai here, and Ky." Master Boaddai nodded.

"I'll call them here."

"And then Rue got ice cream all over herself! She was only five after all!" Connor laughed. They were sitting in the main area of the ship as the talked to each other.

"I don't think I ever let you two try using your Inner Kairu when you were that young!" Ky nodded.

"You didn't, but Mom said she should learn on her own what happens when you don't listen to your parents. After that little incident, Rue listened to you guys more often." Connor wiped a tear of laughter out of his eye.

"I always wondered what raising the both of you would've been like. It's so much better then I imagined." With that, Ky got a sad expression and looked away.

"Dad, do you ever… miss Mom and Rue?" Connor got a sad expression on his face, placing his hand on Ky's shoulder.

"Every day. I miss them every day. But… I suspect that Rue may actually be alive." Ky's eyes widened.

"What? But, Master Boaddai said-"

"I know what he said," state Connor, cutting off Ky, "and that's what I told him. But recently, Ky and his team have been facing Team Femmicore. They're a new set of E-Teens, and they have a leader, with black hair, and violet eyes just like Rachel's. Her name is Rueth."

"Rueth," said Ky in a questioning voice. "But that just sounds like 'Rue' with a 't-h' added to the end of it!" Connor nodded.

"Lokar may be incredibly clever, but he's never been good with names, if you've ever listened to the names he's given to the E-Teen Teams. I suspect that somehow he faked Rue's death and raised her as his own." He looked down. "He took my baby girl and raised her to be evil…" Ky patted his dad's shoulder.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you guys can get her to see the truth, and get her to be good. I bet she's actually good deep down, in fact." Connor smiled and ruffled his hair.

"It feels good to talk about this with you." Ky smiled and put his hands over his dad's.

"It's good to have you back again, even if it's in another timeline." Suddenly, Master Boaddai's astral projection appeared in front of them.

"Ky, Connor, return to the meditation chamber. The Redakai and I may have figured out how to switch the Kys back to their original timelines." Connor nodded and stood up.

"Understood, we're heading over." Ky stood up as Master Boaddai's projection disappeared. He looked up sadly at his dad.

"I'm… gonna miss you." Connor hugged him tightly.

"It's alright son. You still have your mother, and I'm sure that I'm always with you in spirit." Ky smiled at that.

"You're probably right. I know he wouldn't just abandon us if he had the choice."

"That's because we love you Ky. We love you so very much." With that, they let go and started walking, Ky in front of Connor. Connor's eyes widened with shock as he saw the faint ghost of Rachel floating by him. "Rachel…" She turned and smiled at him. He rubbed his eyes and then suddenly she was gone. Ky turned around in confusion.

"Dad? You coming or what?" He regained his composure and nodded.

"Yes, I'm coming."

Ky stood in the circle of the Redakai, holding his X-Reader. He was looking directly at Master Boaddai.

"Go ahead and use the X-Drive now Ky. We will be here to counteract it if it doesn't work." Ky nodded and held out his X-Reader.

"TIME CROSS!" He started glowing with energy, and soon he was engulfed in a vortex of multiple colors. When he opened his eyes, he saw that he was in a vortex of multiple colors. Across from him was a Ky that looked almost exactly like him.

"I can't believe I missed all this on the way here!" Ky smirked, knowing it was the him he had switched with.

"Neither can I! It does look pretty cool." He pushed himself forward and they both shook hands. "Hey there me. You're looking handsome." The other Ky smiled.

"Same to you handsome!" They both laughed as they let go and spun to go the other way. Ky smiled.

"You know, if things had gone the way they did in your world, things would be pretty awesome. I can't believe that Maya's really that cool. If only she was like that where I came from." The other Ky smiled.

"Don't worry, I'm sure you can help her be good. I never actually met up with her, but I'm positive she's good at heart, not evil. Just talk to her, and she'll come around." Ky nodded, an idea forming in his head.

"I hope that works. I must tell you, you're a lucky guy to have your Maya. She's a really good kisser." The other Ky was in shock, and looked really mad.

"WHAT?! YOU KISSED MAYA?!" Ky laughed.

"I knew it! I wasn't sure, but the fact that there were more pictures of you with Maya than anything else, so I kinda figured it out. I didn't actually kiss her. That's your job, not mine. My job is to make sure my Maya and Boomer wake up and be good, and to make sure Maya realizes she likes me, just like how your Maya likes you, and just like how you like her." The other Ky started blushing profusely.

"I do NOT like Maya that way!" Ky laughed.

"Keep telling yourself that! And Rue doesn't really like Ekayon and will totally admit to it."

"WHAT?!" Before Ky could answer himself, they both blacked out.

"Ky? KY?!" He opened his eyes to see his sister, his mother, and Zane standing over him, in his room. He groaned and held his head.

"That was one weird dream…" Rue hugged him tightly.

"I'm so glad you're back!" He hugged back as his mother smiled down at him.

"It's good to be back!" He looked at him mom and smiled brightly as Rue pulled away. "Mom! You're not gonna believe it! I saw Dad!" Her eyes widened.

"I thought when we were returning you, I thought I felt his Inner Kairu, but I couldn't believe it! Is he… is he really alive that?" Ky nodded.

"Yeah, he is. I'm so glad he's happy though." Rachel nodded.

"I am too." Ky got a serious expression on his face.

"Where's Master Boaddai. I got some information from the other timeline that I think we could use, including info about what Lokar's planning."
