This story has no plot other than it being Bonnie revenge centric and for basic story purposes Abby was a no show.

When Bonnie opened her eyes she saw red.

Not from anger.

That was long gone.

The red tinting her sight was on her hands, on the floor, splattered across the walls and when she looked over to what was left of the mirror. It's on her lips, two lines of crimson running down her chin and when she lfts a hand to wipe the blood away. She sees that it's on her hands as well. The sight sends a brief wave of panic washing over her. Flashes of what led to her current appearance flood her mind despite her protest. Screams of agony from a man kind enough to offer her a ride as she wandered barefoot along the road covered in dirt. And she finds that the panic she feels at the vivid memory is not because of what she did. It was because she doesn't regret it. Not one bit. She actually enjoyed it. So much that she went out and did it again.

The opening of a door brought her out of her thoughts and she raised her fingers to her lips, sucking them clean before she casually stepped over the bodies that littered the floor of the Salvatore Boarding House. Wiggling her fingers when her eyes land on the Salvatore brothers as they passed the doorway, a smile playing on her lips at the looks on their faces as they took in the mess she made.

"I wasn't going to do this but then I realized that I'd be taking the easy way out." She said when they finally returned their gazes to her. "Elena would be upset with you but after a while she'd forgive you but...let's face it she'll do it anyway despite what I am. But at least this way she'll have these moments where she feels a bit of resentment every now and then before she just goes back to racking her brain over which one of you she wants to be with." Bonnie grinned when she noticed the twin looks of resentment on their faces. "Looks like she won't be alone on the former."

"Bonnie?" Elena called as she entered into the room. To which Bonnie rolled her eyes, crossed her arms over her chest as Elena shifted her gaze to meet her own. Her eyes wide as she took in what Bonnie's done. And just to confirm Elena's suspicions as it seems that her doe eyed friend's mind is going overtime in trying to not accept Bonnie's new reality, she intentionally makes her visage flicker back and forth.

"I see Rebekah didn't tear your throat out. I'm not sure whether I'm surprised or disappointed. Though I'm sure the only reason you're standing here is because she knows Klaus would drive a dagger right through her heart if she killed you if they made it past tonight." Bonnie tilted her head. "Well I guess I'm not all that surprised then, huh?" She smiled, raising her hands in mock surrender when she picked up on the murderous look in Damon's eyes. "I guess I should give you a heads up before you do anything stupid, like try to kill me. I knew that it would come to this so instead of me being a lesser version, like the both of you, I'm kind of like them. I couldn't get my hands on Esther's grimoire but I did manage to get my hands on the key ingredient; doppelganger blood, and put the missing pieces of the puzzle together. So right before the ritual, I drank the elixir. Made myself a daylight ring." Bonnie raised her right hand showing off the silver band with a lapis lazuli stone in the center. "Made it so my body would regurgitate whatever blood that 'may'" She used air quotes. "have been forced down my throat. And here I am. Thanks for the proper burial by the way." Bonnie smiled at Damon who had the decency to look guilty. While Stefan merely stood in front of Elena defensively, though Bonnie couldn't help but notice the mixture of fear and wariness in his eyes.

"Don't worry," Bonnie said looking at the three of them. "Despite what you think you're not the ones that I'm going to go after. You're not nearly important enough."

"That's a suicide mission and you know it."

"Wow," Bonnie blinked looking at the elder Salvatore. "A plus for effort. If I were still the Bonnie you knew I just might have actually believed you. But since I'm not I'm just going to refuse to acknowledge that bullshit. Unlike you Damon, I think my plans through. Do you honestly think I'd go after a family full of sociopaths and have the same weaknesses as they do?" Bonnie frowned. "...well besides the whole sunlight and invite clause…" Bonnie grinned then shook her head. "Of course not. My weakness is something that is even harder to come by. I'm sure you'll figure it out when you really want to kill me, but for now." Bonnie looked at the two brothers, sped up to the both of them grabbed them both by the neck, tightened her grip knowing that now would be the best time to test her abilities. If she were going to go after the Mikaelsons she need to make sure that she got it right. She twists her lips as her eyes darted back and forth between Damon and Stefan, internally listing off all that each had done to her, which led to her focusing on Damon first. "I want you to continue to focus your attention on killing the Originals and not me." Head tilted to the side as his blue eyes dilated then shifted her eyes to Stefan. "I want you to go back to being Klaus' bitch until either I or he says otherwise." She smiled when they both continued to stare at her. "And most of all I want you both to stay the hell out of my way and pretend I'm merely a baby vamp with no real agenda. Understood?"

"Perfect." Bonnie grinned, dropping them to the ground and turned her attention to Elena who appeared to be frozen in fear. "As for you, I don't want you to speak a word of this to anyone. If the wonder twins try to get you to speak or remember this I want you to pack your bags, drive to the airport and get on the first flight to whatever destination your eyes land on first and never reach out to anyone ever again."

"The compulsion will be lifted when I feel like it, until then, tread lightly boys."

The dismissal in her voice breaks their daze and when Damon and Stefan look at each other they see the panic in each other's eyes which threw the latter off but Stefan doesn't get the chance to dwell on it.

"Just to make sure" Bonnie walked over to a wooden chair and tore a leg off. "Damon I want you to take this stake, and slowly push it into Elena's stomach."

Bonnie flashed over to Stefan and forced her hand through his back, wrapping her hand around his spinal cord paralyzing him from the waist down. Her lips grazed his ear as she threatened to rip it out the moment she saw him attempt to stop his brother. Forcing both his attention and her own to go to Damon as the raven haired vampire caught the makeshift stake she tossed in his direction. Looking as if he's on the verge of a breakdown as he reluctantly pressed the stake against Elena's abdomen, a look of pure relief when Bonnie told him to stop before he actually did some damage. Hatred clear in his eyes when Damon looks at her. Stefan looking at her in kind when she releases him from her grip.

"Bonnie," Elena breathed, flinching when the former witch looks at her.

"Today I lost my chance at a normal life just to save your's. I don't want to hear anything you have to say. I know you didn't ask for this but neither did I. The only reason I'm still even here is because Esther failed. The moment the Mikaelsons are gone, so am I."

Damon and Stefan turned to face each other when Bonnie is no longer in the room before simultaneously turning to Elena who blinked several times until a frown settled on her features. "What happened to Bonnie?"
