Hey Guys,

So, once again this chapter should have been done earlier, but well life takes its courses and here I am. Sadly, this has been a difficult week with my having Area contest last Saturday. And sadly, the weekend was really difficult and left me rather destroyed after making it to the finals and being rained out, which denied us from having a final performance and having the top five sent through, us being in ninth...However, this has left me with the need to become a stronger player and I am going to talk to my Band Director tomorrow about how I could improve enough to become the trumpet section leader for my Junior year.

Sadly, my buddy still hasn't returned and this marks to two weeks tonight. Ugh, I just miss him soooo much. But this has let me write for this a bit more so I guess I shouldn't be complaining too much. Just try to enjoy this while I get ready for dress like an Elementary school kid day for Red Ribbon week as my HS along with the eighth and fourteenth birthday parties of my little sister and little brother after school. Little to say, busy Kiha is busy.

And by the way, how would ya'll feel about me doing that old Kiha's corner segment once more? Where a reader asks me a question and I answer it up here before my chapter begins. Well, little to say, I can revive it if you end up asking me questions. It'll be fun to answer questions about this world or characters, since I just love so much about this.

Enjoy the chapter and please, review with your opinions, when I have a crappy day or hard time, nothing makes me happier than reading loving reviews.

Raiden's grey eyes seemed to study Cheshire with a soft smile, seeming to lightly blush while snickering. "Your eyes, they have so much hate in them!" It was as if he took pleasure in her hate, enjoying the growl that fled the dream demon's lips.

Cheshire wasn't as amused and neither was Aislinn, the both of them staring at the lightning demon and his partner, not enjoying the attitude that the lackies of Xenolith seemed to have. "Raiden, you're treating this as a game."

"Oh, come on Chesh, it's always been a game." He smirked cockily. "Lord Xenolith should have made it clear by now that this entire castle and everybody in it are only here to help play the game you all are now a part of."

"You make it sound so simple." Cheshire growled, finding herself clenching her paws tightly with silver eyes studying the glowing Yumbarisu orbs over the pads of her paws. "But, I guess having you so upbeat will only give me more of a reason to kill you."

Raiden didn't seem to think too much of what she said to him, looking to his partner with another smirk spread across his face. "Luka, how about the spell?"

The red head only nodded, once again having nothing to say while cracking open the book. "Arashi!" Voice powerful as he called out an unknown spell to everybody watching.

Just as once before, a quantity of grey clouds began to surround the sky, but this time being trapped in the dome the four were enclosed in. However, instead of just shooting some form of electric shock at the dream duo, the powerful rumbles of the clouds filled the dome.

"Aislinn."

The amnesia stricken girl turned to look at her partner, holding her book tightly in her arms. "Yes?"

Cheshire's ears were flat against her skull, the leopard looking around. "I am not sure our spells will be very useful in this fight."

"But there is a chance, isn't it?" The dream bookreader asked, eyes narrowed with focus.

"Of course, but I doubt optimism will get us anywhere now." Cheshire said, focusing on the cloud that seemed the largest and throwing two of the dream spheres at it.

The cloud was struck with a loud boom, but not the kind of sound she soon realized she wanted to hear. If only because it was the sound of thunder and lightning growing stronger in the large and continuing to expand clouds.

"Hasn't anybody ever told you to stay out of stormy weather?" Raiden asked with a laugh. "Because you're about to be trapped in a storm like you've never seen before."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Cheshire growled, tossing another Yumbarisu orb at him, now having fourteen left.

Raiden quickly dodged. "You're about to find out, Chesh."

"Aislinn." The dream demon's voice demanding and yet desperate, needing some sort of idea as to what they could do. Was she fast enough for something like Nemasu to work? No, she couldn't think about it that way. She needed to be fast enough for it to work.

There really wasn't another option, it needed to work.

The dream bookreader nodded, seeming to be on the same wavelength as her partner was, hoping to god this would work. "Nemasu!"

The dream spheres of Yumbarisu faded away only for the tip of one of her right paw pads to begin glowing gently. This wouldn't be just like Lavender's fight, this time it was going to work this time around as she lunged at Raiden.

The lightning demon only laughed, finding this all the more funny as the dream demon began to lunge at her enemy. "Come on, Chesh, you really think that you can hit me? A simple punch isn't going to be anything major for me."

"It's not just a punch." Cheshire growled as she got closer, trying to inch closer to the wall if only for force Raiden into some sort of position where she could get to his forehead quickly to knock him out.

"Sure it's not. You going to claw me?"

"Raiden." She growled, getting closer.

"Chesh." He practically purred this line, grey eyes looking into hers with a cocky smile.

"Raiden." She repeated, but this time with a smirk on her face, the lightning demon gasping as he turned around to see the wall of the dome right behind his back, noting that he was basically trapped now as he swallowed at the sight of the dangerously sparking dome behind him.

"Chesh?" His voice a nervous shiver, not wanting to make a move as she lunged closer with a growl, the glowing paw pad being forced onto his forehead.

Raiden went to react only for the glowing light to hit his skin, gasping for a moment before feeling himself grow sleepy instantaneously, yawning and hitting the ground with a loud thud.

"And now, for a nightmare." Even Aislinn's voice seeming rather cold as she held open the white spell book. "Akuma!"

The same paw took on a glowing black light, Cheshire smirking as she took a step closer to her enemy. And when she got close enough, she sent said paw into his forehead with a growl, watching Raiden's face contort as he was sent into a rather horrible nightmare.

From behind them the clouds that had been constantly expanding began to loudly rumble, Cheshire rather shocked that the spell hadn't disappeared yet when the demon controlling in had fallen asleep. "Now what?"

As if wanting to tell her right away a large bolt of lightning came down, not giving the dream leopard enough time to dodge as the bolt struck her arm. Oh, god damn, it hurt, the demon unable to keep herself from crying out in some pain. "M-My arm!" She growled, stunned to find that the arm that was completely numb and unable to move it.

This was paralysis! The arm remaining still as she watched, completely stunned.

Aislinn looked around in a bit of surprise. "The lightning bolts, do they have some sort of after effect?" The bookreader's blue-green eyes holding a lot of worry as she studied her partner.

"Paralysis." Cheshire growled. "My arm has lost all sensation."

"I see." Aislinn nodded. "But there isn't a way to dodge this, is there?"

"I don't think so." The snow leopard said, looking around with annoyance.

"There isn't."

Both girls turned in surprise, turning to see none other than Luka standing in the center of the dome with his voice finally able to be heard not just reading spells. He seemed to be laughing, holding his own book out.

"You see girls, this spell isn't simply a storm, it does shoot lightning yes, but it does something all the more unique as well. The bolts of electricity shot at you hold a special secret; they are energy seeking. This means that instead of randomly striking and possibly hitting Raiden and I, it has locked onto the energy of the two of you. It's here to paralyse your body as quickly as possible so we can destroy your book quickly and efficiently. And until Raiden wakes up, I guess I can just sit back and watch as you try your hardest to dodge the bolts that only want to destroy you."

Cheshire growled, getting closer. "You bastard!"

"How kind of you." Luka sitting beside his partner.

Cheshire growled, getting ready to lunge at Luka only to remember her completely paralyzed arm. What was this sudden uncertainty she felt welled up inside her? Almost as if she might not be able to win with ease.

"Don't worry too much." Aislinn suddenly said, a surprised Cheshire turning to look at her partner who had a rather serious look in her own blue-green eyes. "We've stood up to a lot worse, haven't we?" The dream demon nodding slowly as her partner smirked. "Hell, we beat the poison two over there and we basically destroyed them when we fought them and we're about to allow those two to try and fight an enemy who has destroyed everything he has faced so far."

The snow leopard couldn't help but smile softly at this, nodding. "You're right."

"Then don't even think anything negative." Aislinn said as a lightning bolt suddenly struck down, hitting her in the leg as the bookreader gasped in absolute horror and pain as her left leg went limp. She tried for only a moment to keep her balance before hitting the ground without a moment to try and catch herself.

"AISLINN!" Flynn cried from the other side of the dome, willing to rush into the dome to try and help only for Kimiko to hold him back with all of her might. "No, Flynn, remember, you have to stay right here."

"But she's getting hurt!"

"I know, but we can't do anything." Kimiko whispered, Flynn then realizing that the poison duo were itching to get in there to help their friends out more than anything. The doctor biting hard into his lip and nodding slowly. "We're just useless right now, aren't we?"

"Y-Yeah." Kimiko hanging her head with a sigh. "We're useless."

Cheshire turned to look at her partner in surprise, rushing to her partner. "A-Aislinn! Are you alright?" The bookreader looking to her demon and smiling slightly in an attempt to remain strong. "Yes, of course."

Cheshire growled as another bolt of lightning suddenly struck down while she was distracted, the powerful bolt striking her right leg and gasping in pain before being brought to her knees thanks to the paralysis. "Damn it!"

Luka snickered, his arms folded with pure amusement as a smirk spread across his face. "God damn, I don't think I have seen anything so funny in a long time."

Cheshire growled. "Y-You son of a bitch." Knowing she couldn't rush at him and claw him apart like she desperately wanted to. "I would kill you if I could fucking get over there."

Another bolt.

Aislinn let out another scream, her right leg being shot with electricity that caused her remaining leg to grow completely numb, leaving her as basically a paraplegic.

"Aislinn!" The dream demon cried, not sure what to do anymore as she tried to force herself up, looking at her enemy who still seemed to be immersed into a nightmare, face contorted with pain.

Hold on.

Suddenly, a grey eye seemed to snap open. It quickly met Cheshire's stunned silver eyes, the snow leopard growling with agitation. "Raiden."

He sleepily sat up, groggily rubbing his eyes before beginning to look around with uncertainty. "Luka?" The partner turning to look at him, grunting gently. "What just happened?"

"She put you in a nightmare and Arashi managed to paralyze two legs on the bookreader and an arm and a leg on the demon." Luka simply said, standing up as he shut the book, the loud and thick clouds above them beginning to shrink and silence.

Raiden smirked, dusting himself off as he stood. "You see, Chesh, even your nightmares can't defeat me when you get down to it."

The cat growled, trying to force herself to her feet but finding herself unable to do so. "Raiden." She hissed again, unable to even come up with something to say with all the rage built up inside of her right then. She just hated him, nothing more and nothing left.

"I'm sorry, but now it's time to destroy your book and help the others kill your friend." Raiden taking a step closer to Aislinn who had her spellbook clasped close to her chest, unable to move a single inch away from the demon who held out a hand.

"If you fucking touch her, I'll murder you!" Cheshire shrieked, beginning to force herself to her feet. Sure one was completely numb, but she had to get over to her partner to make sure that Raiden didn't hurt her bookreader.

"Raiden." Luka muttered.

"Oh come on." Raiden waving him off without turning around. "Let me have a little fun before I kill the girl."

Cheshire growled as Aislinn looked up at her partner in shock, eyes wide as she clasped her book even closer to her chest. However, as she did, the book began to powerfully glow. Could this be? Oh please, god, let this be it!

"No way." He hissed. "You have got to be kidding me,you have another spell?"

"That's right."

Raiden whipped around in shock, finding a pissed off Cheshire who was looking for blood. "C-Chesh, I-I."

"Don't fucking speak!" The leopard delivering a powerful punch with her claws out, slashing into his cheek. Raiden stumbled back in pain, looking up at her with wide grey eyes. Oh god, was he really going to lose?

"Cheshire, the book." Aislinn still laying down as she opened their book. "There's another spell."

A vile smirk spread across the face of the dream demon who then nodded with what seemed to be psychotic giddiness. "Please, read it." Her claws bared as she got closer to Raiden who backed up on his hands and knees.

"Akuyonama!"

Cheshire growled as her eyes seemed to darken for a moment, twenty little spheres appearing on the paws of the snow leopard just like they did with Yumburisu. However, this time instead of glowing with a light dream based energy, this was glowing with a hatefilled nightmare energy. The dream demon smirked, finding this rather amusing as she inched closer. "This is the end of this game." Tossing one into the chest of Raiden who shouted in pain, coughing up blood as he was forced back.

"L-Luka!" The lightning demon cried, needing a spell right now.

"Shokku!" Luka shouted, a weaker bolt of lightning fleeing the hand of Raiden and attempting to hit Cheshire who dodged even though limping and exhausted.

Silver eyes held a lot of murderous intent. "Goodbye Raiden."

A second nightmare orb was thrown into the stomach of a panicking lightning demon. He let out a cry of surprise as he was sent back, the sphere exploding into his stomach as the force shot him into the wall of the dome. Electricity suddenly coursed through his body, the dome beginning to fade as the burned and melted body of Raiden hit the ground.

Cheshire wouldn't look at this yet, turning to look at Luka who seemed to already know what was going to happen. He growled under his breath, tossing the book into the fading dome. "This is the end."

Aislinn was stunned by this all, beginning to stand up as the effect of her paralysis seemed to suddenly fade. Cheshire growling as she turned to look at the ravaged Raiden who was gasping for air and now beginning to fade.

Grey eyes locked onto Cheshire's cold silver ones, his voice wavering and unsure. "C-Chesh...l-looks like you'll just always be stronger." Seeing her growl before looking away with a slight and weak blush. "You know, I've always had some feelings for you."

His body faded into nothing but sparkles, Cheshire folding her arms with exhaustion. "I am sorry Raiden, but I believe my heart belongs to somebody else."

.

.

.

"Aislinn! Cheshire!"

The absolutely exhausted dream duo turned to go look at the poison duo along with Flynn rushing at the both of them. Flynn looking over their wounds with nervousness. "I better patch you two up before we keep going."

"No." Aislinn shaking her head, the doctor in training gazing to her in horror. "We need to keep going and I am sure we will be fine."

Flynn chewed his lip, not wanting her to be hurt and have to force herself to go on. "A-Are you sure?"

The amnesia stricken girl nodded with a gentle smile for Flynn, making him blush slightly. "Of course, we've got to keep going."

After managing to accept this, the five left the room with only Luka remaining inside it, lighting a cigarette and finding himself rather calm. "Have fun, try and enjoy your last few moments as partners and bookreaders. Xenolith is going to have a lot of fun with destroying you. And I can't help but wonder what's going to happen to you."
