Hey Guys,

Sorry about this chapter being uber late, I've just been rather busy lately and this chapter has an almost sad story behind it. You see, I had almost all of it written when it was deleted by an update because Kiha forgot to save it. I was destroyed because it was just written so well and even now I haven't been able to replicate it because my memories of what I had been so proud of weren't strong enough to remember what I had written exactly. But I mean, I like this enough to submit it as the next chapter.

And I finally get to write for T, which is something I've been looking forward to for a long time. And since I'm finally on Spring Break, hopefully I'll be able to write you a chapter soon enough. Wish me luck you guys!

It was Thursday when Kimiko got out of the hospital, now having a well bandaged and stitched up slashes, knowing they would eventually scar over but having other things on her mind.

The sixth spell and Tsumi respectively.

She had returned home two days ago, but it took until Saturday for Tsumi to work up the courage to even look at his bookreader. He couldn't speak at her when he looked at her, just feeling guilt as he tried to remember something he technically didn't even do. Right now he could feel her presence as he walked down the hallway, shutting his eyes.

Please don't talk to me…please just leave me alone. I don't want to talk to you. I hurt you.

"Tsumi?"

He cringed at the sound of his bookreader's voice, nervously turning around with fangs severing the skin of his lip. The first thing his purple eyes saw were the bandages incasing her shoulder, leaving it bound together with what once were bloodstained. "Y-Yes?"

Just by looking into her eyes, he knew she was hurting too. Both were trying their hardest to hold themselves together in a patch of pure uncertainty on what to do or just where to go next from here. But, Kimiko knew in her heart of hearts that she needed to talk to her demon partner about what she knew was right. About the choices she and him needed to make with this battle. "We need to talk."

"Kimi…" He wanted to avoid any direct interaction, it hurt to see her.

"No," The bookreader folding her arms to show she wasn't going to give in easily. "We can't ignore what happened, even if we want to because of everything that happened. We need to address it and overcome it to become stronger…"

He shook his head, feeling tears well up in his eyes. The thought of attacking his bookreader, the image of her blood all over the grass when he came to and learned everything that had happened when he was out. To learn everything that he had done when he wasn't conscious or in control of his body, this wasn't anything he could let happen again. "Kimiko, I don't want to talk about this anymore." He turned his back to her, causing his partner to get onto her knees and grab his shoulder with one palm to keep him from fleeing.

"You and I both know that we can't just flee from this."

She turned him around and before Tsumi could push her away with some attempt to change the subject or just shutting down before her, the brunette pulled the poison demon into her arms. "Please, you need to understand that this could never be your fault."

"I was my body, Kimiko…my hands." He felt hot tears begin to run down his cheeks.

"Yes, but there was somebody else in there. Somebody who was very angry and didn't seem to understand just where he was and what was going on." Kimiko stroked his back as she cuddled him close. "Nobody is going to blame you for a spell that basically let something else or somebody else take over your body. But, we do need to do something about it."

"W-What do you mean?"

"We need to learn to control it." Tsumi freezing and becoming ridged when hearing his bookreader flat out telling him that they were going to use this spell once more. "There's got to be a way to master it and make it our own…but until we've figured out how to control it, we need to work on it."

"N-No! We can't!" He ripped from her grasp, tears continuing to stream down his face. "After what happened, why would we ever do anything like that ever again!? All it's going to do is hurt everybody! It's going to hurt you again!"

Kimiko grabbed both of his shoulders, tears welling up in her own eyes as she shook her head. "We can't just ignore this…this spell was meant to be given to us. We were meant to master it, I promise you."

"Then why did it make me hurt you!? Why did something else take over my body and make me hurt you!?" The poison demon shouted, trying to shake her hands off him, but being unable to do so thanks to Kimiko's unwillingness to just let him go free and avoid the conversation both knew they needed to have about something they couldn't just avoid. "I don't want to do it again, Kimi…please don't make me do it again."

"We don't have a choice." Kimiko whispered, pulling him into her arms as she choked back a sob of her own. "You and I both know we need to face this, even if it hurts, we have to do this."

She could feel him nod slowly, head pressed against her left shoulder as one of her hands began to rub his back gently. "I-I'm scared too, Tsumi." She nervously admitted. "But, we're going to get help from the others and we're going to teach ourselves how to master this spell. We're going to learn how it works and why we were chosen to get it."

"P-Promise you'll stop me before things go bad again?"

"…I promise."

"We're going to Aislinn and Cheshire's?"

It was Sunday, only a day after the confrontation, that Kimiko left the house with her demon, having the goal of starting the sixth spell salvaging. And to help her figure it out and learn about it, she needed somebody strong to go with her to make sure everything was contained.

Aislinn and Cheshire were the only two she could come up with that could truly held her out.

"Yep, we're going to see if they'll help us." She smiled gently. "They're the strongest team we've got in the alliance."

"They didn't beat Xenolith." Tsumi said boldly, not wanting to feel like the weakest when he and Kimi had somehow become the leaders of the alliance through the honors of starting the group.

Kimiko nodded, giggling slightly. "That's because they couldn't. Who knows what would have happened if the others hadn't have been kept out of the fight by Xenolith."

"…I still would have beat him…" Tsumi muttered, although even he couldn't be too sure about that.

"Sure, sure." The poison bookreader waved him off before studying the address she had gotten from Flynn. She had managed to make friends with Aislinn through sheer will power, but that didn't mean she ever went as far as to follow the girl home or something like that. So she was grateful that Flynn happened to have his phone close by and willing to share the address of his crush's home with the brunette.

They arrived shortly after, Kimiko drawing in a breath and somewhat hoping that Aislinn would be the one to answer the door. She slowly knocked on it, drawing in a breath as she clasped their purple book in her right hand, Tsumi taking his place at her side.

"Hello?"

It was a man who answered the door, a face unfamiliar to both Kimiko and Tsumi. He was somewhat tall and kind of cute, having soft grey eyes and fair black locks. He was wearing a grey t-shirt and light blue jeans, cocking his head at the sight of Kimiko and Tsumi on his doorstep. "Can I help you two out?"

"Oh, yes, I'm Kimiko Isahowa and this is Tsumi." She opened her mouth to say more but didn't get the chance. "Oh! I know you! I've heard a lot about you from Aislinn and Cheshire?"

'W-What have they told you about us?' Kimiko nervously thought before smiling gently. "Oh, really?"

"Yeah, like how you're part of the group they traveled with over the holidays to fight a Demon or how you were determined enough to make friends with Aislinn by trying to spend time with her every day at school." He chuckled nervously when realizing this might sound like all Aislinn did was complain about Kimiko. "Anyways, I'm her cousin, Kirii. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise." Kimiko nodded, shaking his hand when he held it out. "So, we were hoping we could borrow them for a while."

"How come?"

'Please, don't reject me before I get a chance to talk to them…' Kimiko shifting her spellbook in her arms with a gentle smile. "Well, you see…we've earned a new spell and we're having a lot of trouble figuring it out or controlling it. So, we were hoping we could rely on our strongest members to keep it in check and help us try and figure out just how we're supposed to control it."

"Oh, I see." Kirii nodded slowly, seeming hesitant for a moment before peering into the house. "Just give me a second, I'll go get them for you."

"Thank you so much." Kimiko slightly bowered her head to show gratitude towards Kirii as he disappeared behind the door.

And after a few moments, the dream duo appeared in the doorway, Cheshire looking from one of the poison duo to the other with a slight sigh. "Why are you here on a Sunday?"

"We're coming here to ask for help." Kimiko said.

"Is it about that sixth spell of yours?"

"You know about it?"

Cheshire nodded simply. "Yes. Kyo informed everybody about it the day after it happened. So, what are you wanting us to do about it? We can't just magically make it work for you." Aislinn nodding.

"You're right, you can't do that." Kimiko nodded. "But you can take us out if you really wanted to, which is why we're here to ask that you come with us to keep the spell from getting too out of control to the point where it becomes dangerous."

Aislinn frowned. "We're just going to keep you guys from causing damage?"

"Y-Yeah." Kimiko nodded slowly. "We know you guys are the strongest, stronger than us indefinitely, which is why if there is anybody who could stop Tsumi if things get too hard for us to handle. Please, help us." She bowed to the both of them, Tsumi doing the same as he bit his lip hard, rather frightened by the idea of Cheshire taking this as an invite to take him out swiftly.

"Alright, we'll do it." The dream bookreader nodded. "Just give us a moment to gather our things and we'll go."

Kimiko's face lit up as she looked up at the two. "Really! You'll help us?"

"Yeah, but don't get all touchy about it." Cheshire said. "We're doing this to check out the spell for ourselves." Kimiko smiling bright anyhow, which only caused Cheshire to roll her eyes .

.

They were in a field, Kimiko drawing in a breath as she held her book tightly to her chest, Aislinn and Cheshire standing opposite of her and Tsumi with their own book held out. In a way, Kimiko felt that someday she'd see this sight again, but for now this wasn't exactly a fight. This was her relying on the help of friends to make sure she could keep her own partner and spells in check, nothing more and nothing less.

"So, are you going to call it out or are we just going to stand here?" Cheshire muttered, noting that the poison duo had been standing there in silence more a good minute or two now.

"Just like that?" Kimiko asked nervously. "You don't want to start a fight before we do it, we just go?"

Cheshire shrugged. "Yes. It isn't that hard, Kimiko."

The poison bookreader wasn't too sure about why this left her feeling somewhat intimidated by their willingness to just let Kimiko and Tsumi call out the spell that put the girl in the hospital just like that. She glanced to her partner, swallowing frightened words in an attempt to seem bolder than she was feeling right now. "Are you ready?"

"No…but we don't really have a choice anymore, do we?" Tsumi asked slowly. "This is just something we gotta do, weather we want to try it again or not."

"Yeah…" Kimiko nodded, opening their book and letting her fingertips rest on the sixth spell, drawing in a breath and trying to keep herself from shaking in her shoes. "T-The…." She took in another breath, feeling the expectant eyes of Aislinn and Cheshire staring at her and shuddering slightly.

I have to do this! I have to be strong!

"The sixth spell! Ranohe!"

She immediately shut her eyes, the dream duo soon learning why when Tsumi was thrust into pure agony, pain burning through his body as it began to unnaturally morph into something or rather somebody else.

"So, this is a transformation spell." Aislinn said, gripping their book as she opened the white book, eyes watching the new poison demon stand on muscular and pulsating legs.

Cheshire's ears lowered with focus, nodding. "I've never been able to see one before that wasn't completely mastered. So this should be an interesting experience." Her claws leaving her paws as she watched the figure carefully, finding his narrowed poison eyes on her as he panted. "But…from what Kyo said, this transformation includes an alternate personality."

Kimiko drew in a breath, studying her partner as she held their spellbook close. "T-Tsumi…?" Voice soft and nervous as she took a step closer. "Are you okay?"

His eyes met her's for only a moment, showing razor sharp teeth along with shifting his hands so she could see the daggers on his gloves. From the way he glared, he wasn't her partner still. No, he was somebody else and it didn't seem like that part of the spell would ever change.

But at least he seemed calmer than before, Kimiko taking a step closer with a nervous smile. "There we go…you're doing okay now."

"Kimiko!" Cheshire growled, watching the brunette take another step towards her partner, wanting to trust him as she held their spellbook close. But Cheshire was watching the sixth spell demon, studying the way he moved and recognizing the fact that he was moving in a way that a cornered animal would when it was getting sick of being trapped and was bracing to attack.

"Akuyōnama!"

Before Kimiko could get any closer, the sixth spell demon was struck by a nightmare orb by Cheshire, the spell sending him backwards thanks to the shock of being struck when focusing on Kimiko slowly getting closer and closer to him. The poison bookreader looking to the dream duo in shock. "What the hell did you do that for!?"

"You really are delusional!" Cheshire growled. "If you were willing to get it through your thick skull that that isn't your partner, you'd realize he was about to spring on you and if he was lucky, rip you apart." From the way her eyes were narrowed, she wasn't trying to be funny when she said this and she was far from exaggerating.

"B-But…" Kimiko bit her lip. "H-He…"

"He isn't Tsumi, Kimiko." Cheshire said simply, watching the pissed off sixth spell demon get to his feet, lowering her eyes. "Looks like T is coming back around for more."

The snow leopard threw another nightmare orb at the demon, but this time he managed to dodge it, knowing it was coming for him. He remembered nothing about who he was, slight memories of what had happened to him last time the spell had been read out loud. But what he did know was what he wanted to do with this demon attacking him.

"Kill." He mumbled, Cheshire snickering as he faced her with a sword being drawn and held out. "You really think you're going to be able to kill me? You might look a bit different, but you're still the same Tsumi."

"C-Cheshire…" Kimiko whispered, in a bit of shock with uncertainty on just what to say, knowing that what was about to happen was for the best. She couldn't stop him, biting her lip.

This wasn't Tsumi…this was T. "Please…be careful."

Cheshire clearly wasn't listening as she rushed forward with claws bared, neither demon wanting to give up as they clashed. A sword and daggered fingers slashing into the claws on Cheshire's paws along with dodging a nightmare orb every once in a while, the sounds of their weapons combining loudly ringing out for both Kimiko and Aislinn to hear, the poison bookreader somewhat more distraught than her friend who seemed to be taking this decently well mainly because she wasn't one to lose.

Cheshire had her eyes narrowed, managing to distract him long enough to send a nightmare orb into his stomach, T flying back and landing on his knees as Cheshire approached him, a smirk spreading across her face. "Now look at that. Even in an overpowered form, you still can't take me on."

He growled, showing pointed teeth as Cheshire snickered. "Now come on, speak more than one word. I know you can do it, you just haven't wanted to."

"You're a bitch, you know that." He had his sword drawn and held out in front of him. "And unlike the demon from before, I'm actually going to kill you."

"Somebody's got something far up his ass." Cheshire said, readying another nightmare orb to destroy him with. "But you won't be around for much longer."

And she pounced, ready to take him out as Kimiko and Aislinn watched in shock. The poison bookreader covering her eyes with horror and worry. Please, this couldn't be happening! Could she kill her partner?!

She never even struck him.

Suddenly there was blood on the grass, T panting as he looked at his right hand stained with blood and fur. Cheshire was on the grass, standing up and pouncing once more only for T to dodge his attack with simplicity thanks to her rage taking over her movements. And when T moved again, more blood splattered everywhere.

And there he stood, foot on Cheshire's chest, her blood everywhere as she panted, staring at him in awe. Could this be? Had that little poison brat surpassed her!?

No! No this couldn't be!

A vile smirk spread across T's face as his cold purple eyes burned into her pupils. She couldn't believe this, lowering her head. "Just fucking do it, you brat…"

"With pleasure." T snickered, holding up his sword with excitement at the idea of spilling her blood everywhere.

"T! Stop this now!"

It was Kimiko shouting, both her and Aislinn now pale faced as the poison bookreader unwisely ran forward, grabbing onto the sword, her palms on top of his. "Let this go! This is Cheshire you're hurting! You're hurting one of your friends!"

He turned so they were staring at each other, Kimiko refusing to back down with her hands tightly gripping the sword's handle and his palms. A smirk spreading across vile lips. "T? Is that going to be me from now on?" He snickered with his unsettling voice. "Now tell me, why should I stop? Because she's a friend? A friend I was facing when I woke up?"

"…You really don't know who you are, do you?"

He growled. "And who exactly am I then?"

"You're the alternate personality of my demon partner, Tsumi." Kimiko said gently, unsure of how to feel as she felt his grasp on the sword weaken enough for her to take it out of his hands. "But…I want to form a partnership with you."

"A partnership?"

"You and Tsumi are my partner and I'm fighting for Tsumi to become king of the demon world, therefore I'm fighting for both of you to become the king."

"A king?" He sneered. "How fun. "

She nodded nervously. "See? So…will you do it?"

"If I'm only a mere alternate personality, I don't see why not." He said, Kimiko handing him his sword which he promptly sheathed, turning to look at Cheshire as both glared at each other for a moment. But when he looked away, Kimiko saw this look of both shock and disappointment in the eyes of the snow leopard. Biting her lip as she looked from Cheshire to T.

What's going to happen now?

I'm so scared to find out.
