A/n: As previously said, I suck at writing fights. So I kinda narrated the whole chapter... As you will see, there are some changes at the matches... Though, no worries, all that had + Sai passed onto the 3rd round.

"Say Sai, what happened to those three Oto nins that were chasing us?"

Team 7 was currently standing on the balcony, all huddled up(if one were to ask the only blonde on the team he would say his teammates were cramming him on both sides), with their mentor Kakashi standing behind them(looming over his little chicks), leisurely watching the preliminary fight that was happening beneath them.

Whilst it's true none of them expected this sequence to take place right after the second portion of exams, none were too bothered. After all, they didn't get much fighting in the forest; they got their second scroll from some Ame ninjas, and even then all Sasuke had to do was give them his freaky smile, coupled with his Sharingan.

And whilst it's true that the trio from Oto, different one that the one that had that creepy girl on, did chase them around the forest awhile, screaming profanities at Sasuke, Sai quickly intercepted them and they gave up.

"Oh, I just explained to them why one should not mess with Konoha."

The other three exchange looks, before giving a wary one to their ever smiling teammate. They decided that question was better left unanswered.

The fight that was currently taking place was one between Suna and Konoha's kunoichis', and it was entirely one-sided. The blonde Suna kunoichi just waved her huge fan around, sending the bunned girl and her projectile weapons in the air. Not that it wasn't interesting, Naruto was glad he found another fuuton user; they were quite rare in Konoha, per see.

Sasuke had already went through his match, with an older Konoha genin(teammate of that silver haired, possible Kakashi's cousin, dude). He simply spammed him with his superior taijutsu, that entirely relied on speed. And speed was something Uchiha's were best at; only rivaled by true taijutsu masters and Hirashin users.

It seemed that, after the fight with Rock Lee sempai, Sasuke decided he shall mostly use his taijutsu, in order to improve it. An Uchiha's pride was the most deadly thing a shinobi could have, but it seemed to work for him, so who was Naruto to complain.

Sai had another one-sided fight with Ino-chan, which ended far to quickly and embarrassing for her.

Though, the blush on her face and the admiration in her eyes when Sai roped her with his eels was much disturbant and Naruto was sure Sai gained an M fan girl.

Not that Naruto minded, Ino-chan's forceful attitude would do Sai good.

Time came for the next match and it was most horribly clear Kiba was no match for the other Hyuuga in the exams, besides Hinata-chan.

Neji sempai used his Juuken swiftly, precisely and hadn't even spared Akamaru from his wrath. The hatred filled glares he gave Hinata-chan before and after the match spelled trouble for her.

Kiba was carried out on the stretcher by medics and the matches continued. This time it was Naruto's turn and his oponnent was... lo and behold, Hinata-chan herself!

Sasuke gave thumb-up towards the smirking Blondaime.

Hinata-chan stood before Naruto, nervously looking anywhere but at him; it was obvious Hinata-chan didn't want to fight him. Naruto himself didn't want to hurt Hinata-chan, but this was something he had to do. For the sake of making his parents proud of him and for her sake as well, they had to fight and whoever won(which was painfully obvious it would be him, not because she was weak, but because Hinata-chan hated the feeling of hurting others, nonetheless him, her childhood friend).

Though, Naruto was glad it wasn't Sasuke that was in his place; the bastard would probably scar Hinata-chan for life.

Hayate, their proctor, began the match and Naruto immediately sprung into action.

Well, not sprung, as he merely walked over to Hinata-chan, pointed a finger at her and smiled.

Two seconds later, she was out cold, squirming, with blood oozing from her nose.

Proctor Hayate declared him the winner, medics waltzed away with Hinata and Naruto returned to his team.

Kakashi gently ruffled his hair, making him pout.

"I see you've been hanging with Itachi lately."

He blushed lightly, to which Sasuke scowled.

"What has he been teaching you?"

Naruto grinned, before going into the full explanation.

"Well, after I found out I suck at Genjutsu I went to Itachi-nii for help. He taught me how to break out of them, and after two months of training, with Kage Bunshins mind you, I finally managed to somewhat master his Utakata Genjutsu."

Sasuke knew all about Itachi's Utakata. It was one of the most horrendeous ones, if you didn't count his Mangekyo, and Sasuke has been subjucted to it multiple times.

Like, when he was younger, Itachi used it on him whenever he did something that didn't please Itachi and the things he saw... Tomato never existing, Hinata's and Naruto's wedding day, Naruto denying he ever knew Sasuke, that blasted Kyuubi wrapped all around Naruto, Blondaime taunting him with a Naruto plushie... Horrible, really horrible genjutsu.

"What do you mean somewhat?"

Naruto's eyes saddned a bit.

"Well, I didn't really like hurting people and making them see things they fear... So I decided I shall show them what they want the most!"

Kakashi was stumped; didn't Naruto know that if you showed one such vision and later woke him up to the world when they didn't have what they most desired could truly destroy a person, not to mention hurt them?

"Itachi-nii did say it was a better, stronger version of it, but I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to beat people with it."

Oh God, he didn't.

And apparently, Itachi found it not worthy to mention to anybody...

"Though, I dunno how a bunch of me in those outfits Momma keeps in her special closet defeated her..."

Ah yes, that explained the dazed expression, twitching and bloody nose.

Who knew little Hyuuga heiress was a pervert?

Kakashi chuckled at the obvious display of jealousy on Sasuke's face...

The four of them watched on whilst the Shikamaru KO-ed the Oto kunoichi, while Choji himself was Ko-ed and while Rock Lee was smacked around by the red head Naruto found much intriguing.

While he didn't approve what Gaara has done to his fellow Konoha nin, which he went and said aloud(with Sasuke cheering on the red head behind him) with Rock Lee's Jounin teacher. The match ended when Gai-sensei, Kakashi-sensei and his father themselves jumped in to stop the Suna nin from dealing a killing blow to the bushy brow boy.

Naruto took one look at the slowly maddening Gaara, and his sad, lonely eyes and decided that afte all of this was over he will find him and have a nice talk with him over some number of bowls of ramen.

After all, Gaara's Shu-chan was Ku-chan's brother, right?

Ku-chan probably wanted to reminisce a bit with his one tailed sibling...

He ignored(or probably didn't hear at all) Ku-chan's mutterings of no-s.
