5 years ago Allen was claimed dead after helping Alma and Kanda out of the order during a Noah attack. Yet when the reports of his death are proven to be false having lived 5 yrs of experimentation on both the Orders & The Earls behalf leaving the now 20yr old hurting inside & out after turned into a Sand Cat. Can Kanda save his Moyashi? Can together with their friends end the War?

13. Chapter 13

A-

The arks way of showing the past was astounding starting with Neah opening a pair of gates on on the roof and open on the floor slowly having them meet in the middle on the path (downwards from the roof and up from the floor) the hotel room was cast into a illusion of the cell Allen had spent nearly 3 years within, the building at least what Allen's night vision eyes had become accustom to was similar to a old English medieval dungeon cold blocks of stone covers the space in all directions the rooms only light source coming from a tiny window covered in snow the moon playing peekaboo with the clouds causing sudden shifts into pitch black darkness rusted thick chains where holding the 'Memory-Allen' or Mallen at the moment the chains were lose allowing Mallen to sit on the floor shivering his frayed clothing doing nothing to protect him from the weather, the only entrance being a huge iron door thick and unmovable from Mallen's side.

Footsteps light and almost nonexistence echoing closer giving the effect of their being a stair case which considering how rich most of the known noah manors were it probably did, finally the steps halted causing Mallen to move back in fear, as the real Allen shifted into cat form nuzzling himself into Kanda's shirt his boyfriend instantly moving one hand to pet him trying to sooth his lover knowing how painful this must be for him. The sounds of chains and locks being undone echoed the ark giving them an underwater quality chaining every last sound in order to protect the young feline finally the door creaked open a girl with pale blue hair almost silvery white that in pigtails small blue baubles holding the hair in place with pale skin, soft red eyes, pointed ears wearing a maids uniform the akuma looking behind her before slowly moving closer watching as Mallen's eye automatically activated blinking as the mass of souls that sustained her own became visible that of her body moving to hug her true souls causing the akuma to smile as a lone tear slid down her check.

After a few seconds the akuma moved closer until pulling up the top half of her uniform giggling when Mallen blushed and looked away before a clicking sound was heard the akuma unlocking a panel in her chest cavity pulling out a silver tray and opening showing a steaming cup of milk tea whispering that it held two sugars and a bowl of hot chips covered in gravy the akuma slowly standing leaving the room re-locking the doors, Mallen sitting their in confusion blinking for a few seconds in suspicion before slowly taking a bite of the offered food causing a few tears to spill at his in ability to recall when he had either of the two things placed in-front of him with weakened arms he slowly downed the meal.

"That akuma's name is Mimi, she fancy herself Lulubell's personal assistant. I found out latter that Lulubell snuck the food into her during one of the Earl's so called family dinners..." Allen whispered his lover nodding trying to distract Allen from the past as much as he could.

Just as Mallen was drinking the last sips the sound of heavy footsteps became known to his sharp hearing causing the cup to shatter on to the floor, with a look of pain and desperation Mallen grabbed the shards with the final few chips swallowing them starting to cough choke and gag almost immediately as one of the large ones got caught in his throat the footsteps speeding up Tyki not even bothering to unlock the door merely phasing himself threw pressing a button on the wall as he did which yanked the chains on Mallens arms and leg jerk backwards effectively pinning him to the wall, despite the pain Mallen's eyes held nothing but spite and hatred for the one in from of him Tyki slapping the boy across the face laughing as his phased his hand into the younger males throat fear and regret flashing in Mallen's eyes as the shards were carefully removed before they could kill him like he had obviously wanted, once removed Tyki punched him hard knocking Mallen out cold.

The illusion flickering speeding up watching as Tyki pulled a chair and a box of items into the room before sitting down on the chair singing softly to himself the watery undertones making the lyrics even more creepy causing the sand cat in kandas's shirt to tremble Neah moving closer gently scratching under his feline nephews chin in time with Kanda's own petting the soft rhythmic movements keeping him calm and relaxed before giving a soft sigh and finally opening his eyes to watch the silver orbs narrowed into an almost glare at the scene but never looking away ready to start truly facing his past.

"Subway to sally..." Mallen wispered as he came to tyki giving a down right terrifying look before singing the song louder.

Mallen shivered as Tyki began to move closer as he finished off the song a firm hand grasping Mallen's chin forcing them to lock eyes before forcing the boy into a kiss finally after Mallen ran out of fight from lack of air the adult moved his lips to the boys ear.

"Was it Neah that told you the bands name Shouen?~"

Mallens entire body stiffened fear clouding his eyes, no it had not been Neah that had given the song away but Kanda, One of the songs Kanda used to sing if he got bored enough on a mission was also by subway to sally but where Tyki's song talked about seven lock and things he would do to keep Allen locked away and defiled Kanda's song was about how opposite Allen was to his mask. Both songs were in German meaning they need to be be translated but due to Kanda's constant playing them Allen had long since taken to time to learn a fact that was showing on Mallens face as Tyki laughed the older man deciding own his own that Neah was why the boy suddenly tensed. Kanda's own voice suddenly echoed the man startling looking around before working out Mallen was merely using the memory trying to recall a better time the words of the sound this time in English.

"If only we had realized earily how effective Neahs abilities where on you shouen it might have spared lunch chan her life~" Tyki laughed snapping Mallen's thoughts away from Kanda and back to the face of the little girl he had practically murdered, Maria...

"I hate you." Mallen snarled.

Tyki continued moving to pick up a paddle loosening the chains a tad so he could flip the short albino around slamming the leather covered wood into the young body earning a sharp scream in return, Neah causing the image to flicker until after the several hours of torture, Tyki having left the room and returned loosening the chains and forcing Mallen to shift into cat form before ramming him into a cat carrier and setting up a cd player filled with songs that tyki knew would definitely help break the feline before leaving him their the songs echoing in an endless loop. Differently lines merging together mixing in in the pain and despair as Mallen awoke and paced in the cramped container unable to escape the horrors his own mind was making with nothing more then the songs lyrics and the suffering he had both seen and felt amplifying his nightmares.

Finally after what seemed like months speed up a Noah entered, Devibito gently poking the half awake half dead sand cat waiting until Mallen stirred slightly before the dark haired twin spoke.

Shh dont try to get up, Mimi the akuma who brought you food last time will be in here soon to get you fed and dressed for your own sake dont struggle... Shes going to need to chain your wrists... the Earl apparently is going to make you sit threw one of his god-damn 'family dinners' Dammit Walker stay awake, you cant lose hope Road will be home soon they We Will Get you out of here." the Noah promised looking the weakened Mallen in the eye the Noah glaring at the weakness and lack of fight in the other moving over to the Cd player and shattering it.

"Why?" came the broken whisper.

"Because next to none of us wanted to be destroyers... If we can save at least one life then maybe theirs hope for us and those we love, If you want to know why ask your innocence what will happen when your gone do you really want it to be alone? How long had it been waiting for you to be born? Do you know anything about it other than the fact that it adores you!" Debitto hissed slamming his arm into the stone wall leaving the cage door open as Mallen slowly crawled out of it.

The small kitten flinching at the sound unable to stop the almost instantaneous shivering that his body had developed threw his captivity before the twin spun around unwrapping the bandages on his throat showing severe burn marks that encircled a choker necklace, one made from innocence Mallen's eyes widening as Debbito slumped on the wall.

"Jaz and my own memory's only go as far from when we were roughly three Jaz was born with innocence in her tongue and me mine was already around my throat, we fought hard to survive until we worked out that if we placed a hand on the gems we could create a small amount of fire for me and ice for her thus we always had something warm and water to drink food on the other hand that was the hard part... old guys used to try and get us to be their sex toy in exchanged for food but we never got that desperate... He backed this up with bombs implanted in our wrists filled with a mix of poison and innocence that will most likely kill us in seconds if we stray outside anyplace he hasn't registered its why Road hasn't sneaked back here to free you if she tries not only will those free form the war that she loves perish but also herself for a pointless end. Lulubell has a son somewhere out in the world she had to birth him in secret heck Jaz and I cut the things cord slapped a name on it and left it at an orphanage in Paris... he looks just like her but with innocence... its the one common thing all of us Noah's have we all have innocence Walker, its broken or hidden from our sight and those Noah's who have given birth their kids have innocence as well."

Mallen's mind flickered as Mimi entered Debbito starting to sit up.

"Timothy, is Lulubell's child named Timothy Hearst?"

Mimi gasped as Debitto spun back around Mallen forcing himself to shift into human form panting from the pain and stress.

"One of the last missions i did before Alma was involving an accomedator a child named Timothy his innocence meant his could use a form of astral projection to posses others like a ghost would in order to rob places he was told his innocence due to his 'father' a jewelry theif who forced his last prize down his sons throat. Kloud Nine is training him shes also legally adopted him as the order tries to learn if he has any other family the girl he considers a sister that was at the orphanage lives with him at the order..."

"General Kould is a lover of kids and would die before anything took away his smile." Mallen spoke calmly Mimi giving a warm smile.

"I'll tell mistress Lulubell..." Mimi whispered gently carefully giving Mallen a change of clothing adverting her eyes as Debitto carefully got the weakened exorcist into the simple outfit before half carrying him ups stairs the ark glitching again to show the end of the 'family dinner' in where the Earl threw several of the dinner knives directly at his prisoner threw a childish temper tantrum which was made worse by Jazdero pushing Allen out of the way the knives ending up embedded in her neck as Allen struggled to help and heal her miraculously stopping her bleeding and removing the knives threw the combination of the ark and also his innocence sealing the wounds until her own healing could kick in Lulubel reluctantly dragging him back to the cell latching a lone chain to his ankle.

"Mimi said you know my son?"

"Last I saw he was healthy happy and being spoiled rotten, Lavi was really fond of him despite a minor mini rivalry for a game the invented around hugging Lenalee without sending Koumi off the deep end, Kloud was slowly training him off the flied and was refusing to even let him outside the order until hes at least 10 years old and when she had to take him she would drop him off with general Tiedol before going at the mission alone." Mallen whispered.

"Thank you... I swear Allen I will see the day your free and safe a day when I can be reunited with my baby... His father was called Tim De campy, he was one of the earls cousins from what I learnt when he broken in and said if we didn't follow him we'd perish... the year of Timothy's birth Tim and I tried to escape the earl murdered my husband and thus I hid my baby." with that being said the arks illusion metaled away Neah panting from holding the images for so long.

"You ok uncle?" Allen asked gently placing a paw on the adults arm Kanda also looking directly at the ghost waiting with a serious expression.

"I just need to rest Allen, you on the other hand need your beloved to kill that heat of yours." Neah muttered soothingly before phasing out of sight to rest.

"You ok?" Allen asked gently stretching placing his front paws on his lovers chest.

"Damn Moyashi im the one who should be asking you that... that and shouldn't you tell Kloud that you know who the brats mother is?"

"Yeah I forgot about that... de campy... I know that last name... OH FUCK!" Allen suddenly hissed accidentally digging claws into Kanda's shirt.

"Che wondered how long it would take you baka moyashi, Guess next time you see 'Luna' you should start calling her Auntie." Kanda teased

Seconds before shouting in pain from a on purpose attack of claws Allen shifting into human form as the older lunged at him with a well aimed punch before the blue eyes man was kick hard causing him to fall off the bed glaring at the younger who's feline features were screaming for a fight ears and tail alert fangs and claws extended with half standing on the bed far to used to fighting in cat form that the actions were leaking threw into his half way form. With a demonic grin Kanda started to move as if getting into a fighting position placing one hand on the bed to help him stand up earning a hiss followed by a squeaky yelp as the samurai yanked the blanket off the bed causing allen to fall into a heap giving a another adorable sound of fury as Kanda used the blanket as a net throwing it over his lover and pinning him under it until allen could shake the instinct from his mind.

"Save that energy for later moyashi, now do you want to try and settle your heat or attempt to go with the others near water?" Kanda stated.

"I want to rip out your eyes Bakanda so the later maybe an akuma would be nice enough to let me destroy it." came the seductively dark voice from under the sheet filled with rage and desire.

"now now Kuroneko as I said save it for later now im going to release you and your not going to attack me while my back is turned to get you some clothing got it." Kanda spoke warmly waiting a few seconds before letting the half cat go moving over to Allen's tiny suitcase to get him some clothing grabbing Allen's wrist as the other went to attack Kanda smirking at the action grabbing something other than clothing out of the bag as he did so.

"Let go of my wrist Bakanda."

"no." Kanda stated gently pinning Allen calmly pulling out a thin belt still smirking down.

The belt had been made by the science department as a back massager but the thing moved so fast it felt like a something vibrating around ones back and stomach, the only reason Kanda hadn't thrown it in the trash was due to the idea that one day he and allen could have some fun with it, but with allen being a cat the japanese adult knew EXACTLY what purposed the belt could serve. Shifting his weight so he you dress his beloved beansprout first forcing the kicking 20 year old into a pair of black lace panties before tugging on a pair of water resistance swim shorts and finally one of Allen's normal black pants threading the belt into the pants grinning at how normal it appeared, the second the belt was done up the vibrations began at first confusing Allen that was until Kanda lifted his legs to tug the pants down ending the almost wedgie given by Kanda's haste the belt hitting a spot just above his tail causing him to cry out in pleasure due to the sensitive spot being rubbed looking up at Kanda's face.

Kanda asked pulling his lover into a sitting position allen nodding before Kanda got to work with an elaborate pattern that was still fairly lose two of the knots deliberately positioned over Allen's nipples along with tracing along his chest and back even brushing along his arms finally finished wit his work Kanda calmly helped the slightly restricted adult to get his multiple layers of clothing on before sharing a long kiss, the pair heading out darting to catch up to the group.

"Hey I thought you two where staying tonight in." Lavi stated.

"I right now I want to fight..." Allen stated with a dark glare on his face.

Allen nodding before moving towards where he sensed the innocence his burning under the different souls wandering the area so many spirits of all kinds mixing with the living Kanda pulling him to a stop before shoving the thin glasses over the sensitive steel eyes as Lenalee moved her eyes narrowing as they got closer to wear the rumored acomedadtors were a few tears drifting down fogging the glasses causing Allen to pull them off to clean.

" Xiao didi?" Lenalee murmured gently locking their hands.

"those kids have no parents... every adult but maybe 10 if you include the tour guides are akuma the kids are surrounded." Allen whispered sadly returning the glasses to his face.

"Orphans." Kanda stated bring a hand to the bridge of his nose giving a low half sigh near growl.

"Which ones are human?" Lavi asked wondering it they had a chance of sneaking the humans out before the battle got started.

"both tour guides, the Lady in the pink sundress with sliver high heals despite the face that shes bound to break her shoe or foot on the sand in those annoying things, the elderly man with a lady of different ages on both of his arms, the threesome of teens attempting to get a internet connection. The kids who are alive are the little blonde blue eyes girl, the darker skinned green eyed boy, and finally the slightly more rounded kid who's bossing the others around... Wait add another set of true humans, the little girl from earlier and both of her parents are here." Allen muttered freezing as Ming-Yue bought the tickets calmly talking to the guides before seeing the little girl.

"Well now Martha how good to see you have you been looking after Wuppy?" Ming-Yue grinned mention the girls small fluffy part Akira dog that the 8 year old had named Wuppy.

"Ming it so rare to see you outside of your labs are you here on a date by any chance?" the girls mother flirted despite her divorced husband still being in ear shot.

"Actually my here with my long lost older sister and a few of her work mates, they where on a business trip and their cat got sick my sister took one look at mothers photo and pulled out a identical one from a locket." Ming spoke changing the conversation really not liking the died blonde haired woman but then he never had Joanna was a selfish spoilt and immature 30 year old who had lived near his adopted parents most of their lives and a known nymphomaniac despite her adorable daughter and the man who actually loved her, however after the 10th time in a fortnight Robertto had come home to find his wife in bed with another man He moved out filed divorce and custody of their daughter.

"So where is your sister i'd Love to meet her." Joanna asked half crooning as Ming-Yue pointed up to the crowd little Martha giving a happy squeal of delight before tugging on her fathers sleeve.

"Daddy this is the snow angel I said helped me find mommy!" the little girl giggled as Joanna's face twisted into a look of loathing.

Slowly the exorcists moved closer knowing that if they didn't what the akuma catching wind of their presence then they had to do what ever was necessary to keep anyone making a scene, Ming-Yue grabbing his sisters arm in the process catching the looks on everyone's faces.

"This is my older sister Lenalee, Her boyfriend Lavi and their two friends Kanda and Allen." Ming- Yue spoke softly.

"Its very nice to meet you all, sorry for staring young lad and thank you for helping my little Martha from being trampled in that death trap of a mall, Tourists... I can see what she means by Snow angel." Robertto spoke politely but thinly not quiet sure on how to respond to the glaring looks.

"Allen is a born albino and has been in several traumatic experience each leaving their scars." Lavi started relaxing the man but infuriating the woman more so.

"Are you coming on the boats tooo?" Martha asked her eyes shimmering brightly letting out a joyous giggle when Lenalee and Ming-Yue nod in sync, earning a repulsed look of disgust of the girls mother and a firm smile of the girls father.

"Okayies, Can we gets everyone to line up? It will be soo nice if two cuties widdle lines can be formed right in front of the canoes~~" came a bright sickening voice off the tour guides.

Kanda automatically gagging as his boyfriend lightly smacked him in the ribs, lavi half dragging their group into a line knowing that which ever one they entered the girls family would take the other that and they wanted to make sure they were in the same group as the targets. The tourguide voices marking them as level three's seeing that Allen's curse marked them as akuma, their innocence lightly heating up further warning them as the akuma bundled together following the 'tour guides orders' many of the 'adults' faces blank and depressed heavy bags under their eyes with multiple wrinkles the skin in places sunken on the level ones skeleton forms not fitting right.

Seeing the mild discomfort on Lenalee's face her younger brothers eyes narrowed before tapping little Martha's shoulder whispering to her slightly before his eyes flashed green behind his glasses. The tiny girl nodding frantically before asking her parents to go on the next lot and reminding them that they didn't have any swim wear with them, lavi blinking in shock at the sudden change as allen nodded calmly mouthing a thank you to ming yue.

"What I'm good with kids." Ming-Yue smiled to the red head.

"Yeah when you uses your innocence to put happy pills in the oxygen." Allen added sarcastically. "Your innocence isn't as effective on adults or teens but animals and kids will instantly relax even more so if you green eye glamor them like you just did."

"My eyes went green? How is that even biologically possible? Ones eye color is based on..." the slightly younger male started to rant.

"noah dna is highly flexible and contains a heightened genes for gold eye colouring that is slightly recessive only taking effect as your body begins to mature. Due to it being so all over the place it can trigger different strands of dna giving heightened abilities that with basic training can seem supernatural. But for the most part its just biology." Allen stated with a tiny yawn, as much as Mana had tried to get him interested in science Allen had always found it boring it was only know that he noticed just how much Mana had been desperate to help him.

"You mean Tyki's phasing?" Lavi asked excitedly.

After freezing at the name Allen answered forcibly calming himself. "His cells vibrate at just a high frequence that its easier to pass threw stationary and slower moving cells. Roads abilities are the closest to supernatural but she and wisely technically share the same power just at different levels. Road's dream abilities are just a form of astral projection mixed with both telepathy, she taps into the subconscious thoughts rather than wisely who's bombarded by everything. That's not to say that the noah family doesn't use a form of magic as well as biology and the boost from dark matter. But dark matter has its limits as dose innocence both are very fragile and somewhat sentient the slightest mistake and they could blow up in a persons face." Allen continued.

"That's really cool." Ming-Yue stated pushing his glasses back up his nose.

"Yeah until both dark matter and innocence is messed with to the limit that if anything goes wrong there will be the equivalent of a nuke going off. Quickly Lavi and Lenalee grabbed Kanda's arms holding him back from lashing out the children watching on as Allen took the insult without a twinge of pain the boys smile darkening slightly, Kanda taking half a step backward causing their long term friends to trip nearly falling on the shoreline as the groups began to move robotically towards the canoes.

The exorcists quickly pulling the kids heads above water using the upside down boat as shelter as lenalee and lavi took care of the horde.

Yet Allen wasn't focusing on his own spectral demons muttering under his breath as bits of innocence began to shine answering his call as wings formed helping lift him in the are and the furious teen lunged at the nearest akuma. Kanda shaking head before joining his beloved battling while lavi quickly moved over to his own beloved.

" Whats happening to our parents." the taller of the boys asked his small face full of fear.

"your parents are dead. One would have died and the other met a man who used black magic and now they are both dead and forced to kill... they where going to kill you two due to the gems in your braces." Lavi stated.

The sky filled with the freed souls lingering and waiting to see the out come some wailing over the din in an attempt to contact their children from beyond the grave.

Lavi explained in rapid fire the red head barely pausing to breath.

"We need to buy a proper washing hamper." Both sighed out loud flushing when they heard the two gossips out sigh laugh.

"Our rooms still clearer that yours rabbit!" Kanda snarled tossing open the door ignoring the squeak off Allen to try and slash the rabbit.

"Anaki pants have you ever heard of them ? wow I have never see you so deshive-" Alma never finished.

Kanda in his rush to kill had opened the door with only the black t-shirt his legs and sizeable (still half hard) girth fully visible to the hallway a shock in its own right if not for allen in the background. "Ok people that's enough of a show back off." Lavi order his voice overly serious causing the crowd to scramble in terror. Then with almas help they finished tugging on Allen's pants. Kanda grabbing a set of Allen's boxers before tugging on the jeans and picking up his sweetheart.

"Allen shh, its ok. Your safe now... im sorry..." Kanda softly repeated hugging the quiet boy until hearing a small groan.

"He thought it was a complement." Alma grinned knowingly.

"Take whatever your think and triple it using modern devices and older stuff. Let alone the mental battles." Allen groaned causing alma to wince.

"What?" Kanda asked oblivious to the conversation the two ukes where having.

"Hush onisama, Allen was just asking about tidbits I knew from living under the same roof as your original soul and Arron. Finished getting dressed and then we can all head down to the great hall, hopefully some of the terrified finders explain we might be even more delayed." Alma cooed helping Allen to his feet as Lavi handed over the nearest uniform jacket on the shorter male.

Once the pair where suitably dressed which included a three minute fight against Allen's ribbon as the poor thin hand gotten caught on the innocence choker. The set of four arrived at the thick iron doors the new order had for this bases dinning hall, Lavi and Alma glancing at eachother before opening them the room letting out a mass of cheers. The grand hall had been separated out making it look like a street vendor carnival than any of the order normal parties each section baring its own flag of joy starting within mini party's Allen missed with samples of the foods each party had. Then the welcome back, congrats on becoming a bookman, welcome heart of the order, congrats for coming out of the closet, thank god you woke up from the latest coma scare. At the very back and towards the center so Allen could see it first as a large black banner with sliver writing that read 'dna match welcome home my baby boy' Hevlaska wearing a silver kimono her aged face framed by glasses that didn't hide her tears as she held her arms open.

Kanda smiling as allen shot forward into the woman's arms the pair dropping to their knees as they clung to each other, Hev gently rulling her hand threw Allen's hair as she kissed every millimeter she could. Lenalee sniffling with a few of the other women when Allen let out a tiny whisper.

"Mama?"

"Yes, I had Koumi test me once the cube was pulled off me... your my baby boy. My Allen Kokoro Walker." Hevlaska whispered in tears her voice hoarse with emotion as the pair broke.

"I'm home..." Allen whispered back sniffling as he felt Kanda bend down to kiss his forehead as his mother crushed him in a hug.
