Lost Ones
Part Five
Busting thought the attic door The time lord's eyes narrow when Sarah Jane was no where to in sight. Slipping on his sonic shades he carefully scanned over the room. His eyes turned to the desk where he noticed a strange white sparkle.
"Alert...alert spatial anomaly in progress." Mr. Smith bellowed.
Pulling his sonic screwdriver from his blazer he turned it up to the highest setting before aiming it at the desk. With in second the once small sparkle expanded filling the whole room. It only take a few moments more for him to be consumed by it.
Within in white space Odd Bob's face was a mere inches from Sarah Jane's he tilted her head inhaling her sweet scent as he felt more and more fear rise off her as she stood there stiff as a board.
Unable to say the word Sarah Jane did her best to remain standing, but the moment a familiar voice echoed though out the space that caused her to from a small smile across her lips.
"Sarah...I'm here." The Doctor said calmly.
A sigh escaped the clowns big red lips as he pulled away from Sarah Jane and stared at the Time Lord.
"Well what do we have hear." Odd Bob said as he tip his nosed up toward the man inhaling the scent.
The Doctor's eyes narrowed as he looked over the creature before him.
"Ah so your the Doctor well your to late for you see Miss Smith is mine… fear is such a wonderful drug." Odd Bob hissed.
The Doctor ignored the clowns words as his eyes turned and remained fixed on his old best friend.
"I know you can hear me Sarah just listen...all you have to do is come over and take my hand. Let me help you." The Doctor said as he placed his shades in his blazer pocket before lifting his hand.
His words cut through the fear as Sarah Jane turned to The Doctor. Swallowing hard and taking shallow breaths Sarah Jane found the will to move. Feeling the clowns eyes upon her she felt her heart race but she continued to move toward the Doctor.
As the two of them continued to stare into each others eyes Sarah Jane noticed a softness to the Doctor's Stern blue ones. Her heart calmed the moment she got closer but she had trouble pushing her feet forward as Odd Bob's laughter's echoed in between them.
"Keep focused look at me...come on take my hand." The Doctor said.
Shaking Sarah Jane finally made to the Doctor she took a hold of his hand as he quickly pushed her behind him. Narrowing his eyes The Time Lord turned to the clown who transformed behind his eyes back into the ring master.
"You can not win we will stop you." Spellman bellowed.
"Oh I beg to differ and thank you we know were you are now." The Doctor said.
A hint of worry washed over the rig master as he steadily moved backwards and soon he disappeared from view.
Soon the white space disappear returning them both back to the attic Sarah Jane wandered over to Mr. Smith with The Doctor right beside her.
Back there you said you know his location?" Sarah Jane asked.
"Yes he or rather it was broadcast from a specific solid location and I know where."
The Doctor said as he pulled out his sun glasses and slipped them on.
Sarah Jane turned to him tilting her head to the shadows. While she had to admit it was nice touch she still couldn't understand.
The Doctor merely sigh as he slipped off the shades and slipped them on over Sarah Jane's eyes. A gasp escaped her lips as her eyes wandered the room. Within second she was looking graphs, maps, some in english while the others were in various languages. But the moment browser history popped up she quickly took them off and handed them back.
"A nice touch well...back to work." Sarah Jane said quickly.
The Doctor noticed the hastiness in Sarah's voice but before he could say a word Mr. Smith's alarms rang as a familiar sound sailed thought the air. Within seconds the Tardis materialized in front of them, its exterior was back to its nice prime blue state. The door opened and The Doctor peaked inside.
The Time Lord smiled for there was no books, papers or any kind of debris on the floor or anywhere else she was as clean on the inside as she was the outside.
He turned to Sarah who gladly took a hold of his hand.
"Just like old times." Sarah Jane said.
"Just like indeed come on." The Doctor replied.
Slipping her sonic experiment in her bag the two of them entered the police box, and soon they were off as the Tardis dematerialized seconds later. They were off again just the two of them to save the world.
