Sarah Jane Adventures X Doctor Who Crossover

Lost Ones

Part Six

Back down in the lower levels of the Pharaohs Institute Elijah Spellman was up against the wall beside a cell. His frighten eyes stared at the male in the hooded robe whose hand was wrapped around his neck.

"You messed up! He knows where we are now." The man hissed.

"Uh..uh please I still think we can do this. We just have to delay this Doctor and Miss Smith." Spellman said hesitantly.

A sigh left the man as he released Spellman who slump to the ground.

"Very well….. it looks like we'll just have to push the plan forward sooner then predicted." The man said.

As the Spellman rose up from the floor an eerie laughter escaped his lips for he was now the vicious clown Odd Bob once again. The clown licked his lips in delight.

"Now don't you worry for when they arrive Miss Smith is mine." Odd Bob said followed with a sinister laugh.

In the Tardis The Doctor was circling around his beloved console pulling levels and pressing buttons as he kept an eye on the monitor. He wanted to make sure he got the destination right for its been a long time since its been only him and Sarah and he didn't want to mess it up.

Sarah Jane eyes wandered all over the Tardis from the chalkboards to the numinous bookshelves. She loved the new bronze interior it seemed a bit more rusty since the last time she had been here. A smile crept across her lips when a familiar moan welcomed her one that she knew too well.

"I've missed you too old girl." Sarah Jane said as she gave the rail a light tap.

Yet a sigh escaped poor Sarah Jane's lips as she sat down in the chair with her bag in her lap. She found her self with head in her hands; She could still hear that clowns vicious laughter in her head and even feel his breath upon her skin. Unable to control it any longer she finally gave in as her hands started to shake.

They stopped the moment The Doctor placed his hands over hers. She wanted to look up at him but she couldn't as she felt a few tears wetting her hands.

"Is he still in your head ?" The Doctor asked.

Sarah Jane removed her hands from her face but still refused to look up at her old friend she found herself looking down at the floor in shame. But The Doctor refused to let go of Sarah's hands as he gave them a light squeeze instead.

"I would be lying if I didn't say yes, you see I never told the children that Odd Bob still terrified me." Sarah Jane confessed.

The Doctor remained silent as he pulled Sarah Jane out of the chair an on to her feet. Soon her eyes met The Time Lord soft blue ones which held concerned for his best friend.

That's how fear works it plants itself in your mind than grows until paralyzes and consumes its host." The Doctor explained

"Like a parasite." Sarah Jane answered.

"Exactly and how do we deal with parasites?" The Doctor asked.

"By starving it." Sarah Jane replied.

The Time Lord nodded followed with a smile. Sarah Jane removed her hands from the Doctor's and pulled out her set of sonic lipsticks that she encased together in heavy wired black box. With a nod she placed it in the Doctor's hand.

Glancing over the device The Time Lord nodded and with a few careful adjustments he set it back into Sarah's hands.

"There now its ready." The Doctor replied.

Placing back in her bag Sarah Jane joined The Doctor by the console as the old girl groan loudly.

"I take it we're close?" Sarah Jane asked.

The Time Lord glanced over at her with a grin as he gave his friend a nod.

"I forgot how much she adored you, but yes we're almost there." The Doctor replied.

As the two of them took a long deep The Doctor pulled back the lever as the old girls groan echoed throughout the ship. It was time for the final showdown.
