Hey guys! Not dead, had this kicking around in my head for a while and finally finished this chapter!

Enjoy!

Myra watched as Raditz flew away with Gohan in hand, his words echoing in her ears, 'And Myrina, help your brother.' She growled, wanting to wipe that smirk off his face. She looked down at Goku, who had stood with some difficulty, and called out for Nimbus. Her eyes widened, "Goku, stop!" She placed a hand on his arm, both in comfort and restraint, "You need to think rationally about this, he's too strong to handle right now." Myra looked at the others, "We need a plan if we're going to rescue Gohan." Goku grunted at this, "I hope he's alright." The Keeper almost laughed, "Sweetheart, if Raditz wanted to hurt him, he would've already." Bulma nodded, "Yeah, it's you he's more interested in."

The group helped him to the front step and sat him down. Myra paced in the sand, deep in thought, "We need to find a weakness, a chink in his armor. He's too strong for you to beat him, so we'll have to outsmart him." She muttered, her tail swishing gently back and forth as she thought. Goku watched it for a moment before reaching out and lightly tugging it. Pain bloomed from her tail and up her back, spreading a violent heat throughout her entire being. Myra whirled, a growl in her chest and punched him in the face.

He didn't fall back but did clutch his jaw in pain, "You punched me in the face." She looked at him with wide eyes, "You pulled my tail." She gasped exasperated. He rubbed at his jaw, pouting, "You punched me in the face." She growled, "You pulled my fucking tail!" he nodded and then grinned, "His tail! That's how we'll beat him. Remember when someone grabbed my tail? I could hardly move." Myra narrowed her eyes, "Or, he'll react like I just did, like a cornered animal that will lash out and destroy you." Goku held her gaze, "Only if I let him go." Krillin looked confused, "But he won't just let you go up and grab his tail." The man nodded and stood, "I know, that's why I'll need some help."

While the rest of the fighters in the group discussed what the meaning of 'help' was, Myra watched the clouds. "Wait if something happens, you'll bring me back with the dragon balls right?" Krillin asked, making her look up. Goku shook his head, "You've already been brought back once. The Dragon won't grant the same wish twice. Unless…" Everyone turned their gazes to the Keeper, "No, the rules of the Dragon are absolute. Not even a Keeper can alter that." Myra explained, shaking her head, "You're better off staying here, it's too risky." Goku said to the fighters. Roshi was the one to object this time, "What?! And let you fight alone?!" Myra bristled, "He won't be alone, he's got me!" She grinned up at her brother, who grinned back, "But even then…" Krillin seemed unsure. Bulma jumped in with an idea, "Why don't we just gather all the dragon balls and ask the Dragon to save the planet from Raditz." Myra shook her head, "Shenron doesn't have that kind of power and besides, I have a feeling he has friends waiting somewhere."

With that, Myra turned to Goku, "So what do we do?" He gave this some thought before responding, "I say we attack him head on, he won't be expecting that. It might give us an edge and right now, we need all the help we can get." Everyone nodded, "But how will we find them?" Roshi asked. Goku frowned, "I haven't figured that part out yet." Bulma's eyes lit up and she smiled, "Wait, didn't Gohan have a dragon ball on his hat? We can use the dragon radar."

She produced the small device from her coat pocket and clicked it on. There were seven dots on the screen and one was moving rather quickly, "There they are, damn that's fast." The beeping stopped suddenly, "It stopped! Well at least they're not in outer space somewhere." Bulma sighed. "Well let's go, you ready?" Goku looked at his sister, who nodded and they prepared to take off.

"You'll never succeed, you're too weak."

The group looked up at the dark voice. Piccolo floated in the air above them, glaring at Myra, who was waving enthusiastically at him, "Hello, Piccolo!" She shouted, grinning madly. The demon king regarded her coldly as he descended, "Keeper, what are you doing here?" she sighed, "Rescuing. What are you doing here, Demon King?" He ignored her and looked towards Goku, "I've been keeping an eye on him…" Myra knew she should be listening but she felt a strong pull from her core. She rubbed at her stomach and tried to ignore it but the pull only grew stronger. Again she ignored it but then her head began to throb and the pain concentrated behind her eyes. Her hand when to the bridge of her nose and she inhaled sharply.

Piccolo seemed to notice, "Keeper, what's wrong? You're emitting a lot of energy." Myra looked up and images danced across her vision, Gohan sat in a grass patch in front of a huge crater, crying, but she couldn't hear him. Raditz paced in front of him, then stopped, anger painted across his features, and shouted at the boy, all she could hear was static and white noise. He raised his hand at Gohan and she saw fear glinting in his dark eyes. He cried out but this time she heard something.

'Auntie Myra, help!'A quiet growl escaped her and the pull grew her vision became sprinkled with red sparks and the images became more and more real, the noise and voices becoming clearer.

Her vision went dark, but only for a moment. When her eyes reopened, her nephew was staring up at her, "Auntie Myra?" She blinked and looked around. Raditz stood to her side; she held his fist in her palm. His eyes were wide as he gazed at her, "How did yo-" he was cut off by a beeping coming from the strange device on his face, "What, a power level of 620?!" Raditz stared at her shocked, "There's no way!" An amazing swell of power rose in her chest and she smirked, flicking her wrist, she sent the saiyan flying towards the truck, causing it to explode.

Myra turned towards the boy behind her, "Gohan, are you alright?" he nodded and ran towards her, sobbing. She knelt, about to pick him up, when she was knocked away by a heavy body, "You'll pay for that." Raditz roared, kicking her in the stomach. She growled and flicked her fingers at him. His body froze mid-step and his eyes widened, "How the hell?" Myra gave a strained smirk and stood carefully, "The molecules in the air around you are moving so fast, that you're actually moving slower." She observed his reaction and his aura was colored crimson with rage. Gohan ran to her and she scooped him up with some difficulty, "That should keep you occupied until I can get Gohan out of here." She watched Raditz as she walked a careful distance away.

He glared at her in his frozen form, "Just you wait, little sister. You won't get very far." The boy in her arms whimpered but Myra pushed on until she got just passed the crater that his ship had made. She slipped Gohan onto her back and told him to hold on as she bent and took off into the sky.

Myra had just allowed herself a small sigh of relief, especially when she looked into the distance to see a familiar sight, "Goku!" She shouted excitedly, flying faster towards the figures.
Gohan even peeked out over her shoulder and exclaimed at the sight of his father, when an energy beam knocked them clean out of the sky.

It pierced through her right hip, causing her to cry out and lose control, sending them plummeting towards the earth below. The boy screamed in her ear sharply and Myra squinted and gritted her teeth, focusing all of her energy on keeping her nephew safe and trying to slow their decent down.

She felt the energy slide into her shoulders and down through her legs, she imagined a magnet on the bottoms of her feet and another on the ground below, pulling and pushing to gently guide them down. She tried to ignore the pain in her hip and didn't dare look down at the blood she knew was gushing from the wound, but every few seconds it pulsed as a reminder. Unconsciously, Myra shushed Gohan and held him to her chest as they slowed down just enough before her feet touched the ground and she fell to her knees at her brother's feet.

Raditz pulled the child from her grip easily and kicked her wounded hip, making her scream and fall onto her side. He kicked her twice more for good measure, this time in the stomach causing her to cough up blood. Raditz chuckled darkly and moved away from her, carrying the now crying Gohan over his shoulder to his ship.

"I told you that you wouldn't get very far, sister dearest." He sneered, tossing the crying toddler into the ship. The boy pounded frantically on the glass but it was no use. Myra's vision was blurry and she was exhausted; all she wanted to do was go to sleep for a very long time. Hearing Gohan's cries and his little hands on the glass, lit a fire in her belly; granted it was a small pathetic fire but she tried to push herself up regardless as her brother stepped towards her.

Goku and Piccolo landed then and took one look at the struggling Keeper, who was lying in a growing pool of blood, and a nod was exchanged. They took position between Myra and the saiyan, halting his advance. Raditz frowned but then grinned, "Well I was going to have fun killing my little sister but, she was getting boring, what with her wound."

Goku looked back at Myra, who had gotten into an upright position with her back against a boulder. He noticed that her eyes we half lidded and her movements were slow, but when she looked up to meet his gaze, her eyes were a brilliant orange. She offered him a small grin, "I'll be ok, Goku. Kick his ass." He nodded at her and turned his attention back on their brother, getting into position for a fight.

Myra tried to focus her gaze on her wound, but her breath was coming in short, deep pants and her vision was blurring. Weakly, she drew her dagger and taking a deep breath to try and center herself, she stabbed her leg. Her eyes widened and she screamed at the sharp pain, withdrawing the blade quickly. Now that she had some fresh adrenaline pumping in her system, Myra set to work tearing at the fabric of her pants.

"Myra, what the hell are you doing over there? Did you just stab yourself?" Came Goku's cry of confusion and worry, it was a tired cry; the battle didn't seem to be going so well. Myra waved him off, "Relax, I know what I'm doing." She shouted weakly, she had to work fast as her energy was fading.

Once she had moved the fabric away from her wounds, Myra flicked her wrist, allowing energy to flow into her hand, forming a thin layer of fire around her palm. It didn't burn her, but there was a comforting warmth to it. Gently, she pressed her hand to her leg, where the stab wound was. Once it touched her skin, the flame flickered a bright yellow and there was a small tickle as the wound was sealed up.

She sighed and moved onto the one on her hip, where Radiz's energy blast hit. It was still very bloody, no wonder she felt so dizzy, losing so much blood. Allowing a little more energy to flow through, the fire grew brighter and Myra pressed her fingers to the wound. The flame grew yellow and a deep heat bloomed beneath the wound as it was stitched together; it wasn't a tickle this time, it was like needles being pressed into her flesh over and over as it healed.

Tears pricked at the corner of Myra's eyes but she didn't cry or make a sound. Once she was done, she allowed herself a deep sigh as the energy left her. Glancing over at the fight, she noticed that there was a great power coming from where Gohan was.

Raditz, who was in the middle of kicking Goku in the stomach, was looking over at his ship in fear as well. It was quiet for a while and then the ship exploded and the toddler launched himself at his uncle, sending the two of them yards away.

"Gohan!" Myra yelled, struggling to stand up to help her nephew. Before she could however, Raditz was already standing and slapped the toddler across the field. "No!" Goku and Myra screamed as they watched the poor boy twitch on the ground, "The boy's power is strong but he's still too young to fully harness it; it's still affected by his emotions." The saiyan chuckled as he started back towards the wounded party.

The keeper felt her inner flame erupt in anger and she rose to her feet, hair blazing. Raditz slowed his approach as she stood and a slow smirk crept across his face, "I knew you were powerful, sister. The energy beam I hit you with earlier felt too easy to take you down."

The device over his eye beeped again and he laughed, "A power level of 2500! Even better! At least we'll have a fighting chance if I can't get our weak brother to join our cause." Myra's head cocked to the side at that remark, her auburn eyes glowing, "What cause? The one where we help you take over planets? I don't think so."

She took a step forward, her hand flaming, when Goku beat her to the punch. He flew towards their brother and locked his arms behind him in a full nelson. Myra glared at him, "What the hell are you doing Goku?!"

The man shook his head, "Do it now, Myra! Hit him!" She couldn't believe what she was hearing, "No, Goku. If I hit him with this," She gestured to the fireball in her hand, the flame swirling with red and gold, "You both die!"

"If you don't, then I will." The voice came from behind her. Myra turned to face Piccolo who was standing behind her, one arm missing. He glared at her, "I will not let your incompetence allow this saiyan to get away alive. So, either do your job or I will, Keeper." He sneered the title.

Myra felt the fire begin to fade as she was faced with the choice, "Hurry! I can't hold him forever, Myra!"

"Please, Myrina, Kakarot! Don't do this, I promise I'll leave you alone! I'll get in my ship and leave!" Raditz babbled, trying to convince her to not kill him. She knew it was a lie and drew her hand back, gathering more energy.

"Myrina! Don't! I can tell you about your past! You lived with us when you were a child, before Kakarot was born. We used to play together, I taught you how to fight! Please!" That made her falter, just a bit but enough to anger the demon god behind her.

"Out of the way Keeper! Or I'll kill you too." He kicked her leg, knocking her over as he released his attack, "Special Beam Cannon!"

"NO!" She screamed as the energy beam shot through both of her brothers, knocking them to the ground. Myra ran towards them, tears in her eyes, "No, you're going to be ok, Goku. I can heal you!" She made to put her hand on the hole in his chest but her brother just smiled and weakly pushed her hand away, "You've wasted enough of your energy on me, Myra. It's too late."

"You will go to Hell for this, Kakarot! Killing one of your own kind! Curse you, green man!" Came the raspy declaration from Raditz, who lay a few feet away from Goku. Myra was quick to retort, her anger for her brother returning to her, "He's not gonna die! But you will!"

A wet chuckle came from the dying saiyan, "His wound is just as bad as mine, sister. He will die." But Piccolo only laughed, as he hobbled over to them, "On this planet, we have dragon balls, which can grant any wish. Goku's friends will bring him back soon. But there is no hope for you."

Raditz snickered again, "You fool! The scoter on my face is also a transmitter, my two comrades heard every word; they'll be here in a year to take over your planet and avenge my death!" Myra growled and pulled her knife from her belt, "Let them come! We'll be ready." With that said, she delivered the final blow to his heart, cutting off his laughter.

Breathing heavily, the keeper stood and looked over her dead brother; with all that had happened today she couldn't believe she had killed her own flesh and blood. A bloody cough interrupted her thought and she turned to Goku, who gave her a weak grin as she dropped to his side.

"Goku…" She trailed off as tears blurred her vision and she wiped them away. He grabbed her hand weakly, "Wait a year before you resurrect me, promise me." She jerked her hand away, "You're crazy if you think I'm gonna let you do that!"

Piccolo put a hand on her shoulder, making her look up, "He has a point, if he trains for a year in the otherworld, he'll be strong enough when the saiyans arrive." He looked exhausted, but he had her nephew underneath his arm.

What little strength Myra had from the fight was nearly gone, but she reached out towards him, "Where are you taking Gohan?"

The former demon king, regarded the keeper with tired eyes, "I'm taking him and training him for a year." He turned away from the siblings, "Without you, so I suggest you begin your own training, Myrina."

She nodded, "You better take care of him, he's my nephew!" She called after him as he flew off with the unconscious toddler.

Myra bid goodbye to her brother, promising him that she would wait a year before resurrecting him, just as the rest of his friends showed up and began her journey back to the Keepers tower. The tower was situated between Korin's place and Kami's lookout so the keeper could be ready if Kami needed them to be.

Her eyes had returned to their normal green and her hair has dimmed back to the light auburn. She barely had the strength to return home and collapsed as soon as she reached the balcony of her room.

Her papa was waiting for her and helped her into a bath of oils and warm water. She told him of the battle and what she learned, "He said I lived with them and he taught me to fight but I don't remember these things, Papa." Myra looked the old keeper in the eyes, icy blue clashing with warm green, "If he truly is my brother as you said, what else about my life is a lie?" She asked, begging him.

The old man sighed and pointed to the towel and robes he had laid out, "Get dressed, Tiecelle. We'll discuss this in the Chambers." And then he left the bathing room, shutting the doors behind him. She groaned but complied, stepping out of the warm bath and drying off. She didn't like going back to the Chambers after battle or training; but she knew it was important for a keeper (or a keeper in training) to go there and rest and recover their elemental strength.

John also liked to use it to calm her when talking about life altering subjects, since it didn't allow keepers to use their elemental abilities as long as they were in the room.

Myra finished getting dressed and slowly made her way to the Chambers at the center of the apartment. The huge chestnut doors were carved with intricate dragons and other designs, and in that moment, they seemed more imposing than normal. In that room, awaited answers that she didn't know she was looking for, answers that would turn her whole world and everything she knew about herself upside down.

She pushed open the doors and stepped inside.

OoOoO

Vegeta clicked his scouter off after the transmission ended and smirked at the oaf next to him, who was gorging himself on the big aliens they had just killed.

"Did you hear that, Nappa? Raditz has been defeated by Kakarot." He said shortly. Nappa turned to him, meat spilling from his mouth as he spoke, "Don't forget Myrina, Vegeta! Isn't she supposed to be dead?"

Of course, the Saiyan prince hadn't forgotten about Myrina; just purposely left her name out of the conversation. He couldn't ever forget about her; she made his life at the palace bearable.

But that was a long time ago and Nappa was right, she was supposed to be dead, like the rest of their race. Raditz must've made a mistake; whoever this fighter was, she wasn't Myrina.

She was an imposter at best.

And she, along with Kakarot would be dealt with and the Dragon Balls would be his.

"Come, Nappa, we have a long journey ahead of us."
