Hi! I'm back! New chapter and it gonna be good…
Lloyd sat up and yawned. After taking that nap, he felt SO much better. His limbs and his throat didn't hurt anymore, and he was ready to help the others with anything.
He stood up and stretched. He then cocked his head.
Is the trailer smaller?
He looked at his legs and his breath caught in his throat. They were way longer than what they used to be…
He ran in front of the mirror and screamed. He was a lot taller. And his bangs were now longer and flicked to the side.
"WHAT THE HECK?!" Lloyd screamed and then pulled his hands to his throat.
"Is that my voice? Is that MY voice?" he coughed and then looked at himself again.
"AAAAAAUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Nya sipped her sweet tea and sighed. It had been a great rodeo already, and they had to go home that night.
"c'mon, boys." Nya stood up and the others, who were sitting next to her, rose as well.
They were half way to their trailer when they heard a distant screaming.
"What the heck?!" kai said. "Is that coming from our trailer?"
"It is?!" cole ran towards the trailer. The horses were all staring at the living quarters, where someone was screaming.
"Oh my gosh!" nya screamed. "Lloyd's in there! Maybe that person is hurting him!"
"c'mon!" jay called.
The screaming had stopped when they entered the trailer. The only person there was Lloyd, who was on the bed and covered with a blanket.
"Lloyd?" nya asked. "Are you okay?"
The person under the covers shook his head.
"Lloyd, don't worry, whatever it is, we can figure it out." Kai stepped forward.
The bulk under the covers suddenly moved and a blonde head poked out. He pointed at his face, which was now more masculine.
"YOU CAN FIGURE THIS OUT?!" Lloyd yelled.
All the others screamed and jumped back.
"Lloyd?! What happened to you?!" cole yelled.
"How should I know?" Lloyd stood up. He was as tall as kai and taller than jay.
Jay walked forward and looked up at him. "AW, COME ON!" he punched at the air and crossed his arms.
At that moment, peg rushed in.
"GUYS! Your friend- oh…." Peg stopped and looked at Lloyd, her jaw dropped.
"That is… not good." She grimaced.
"Peg, do you know what happened?" cole asked, a worried look sparking in his eyes.
"Uhhhhhh… my mother accidentally spilled some age tea into a muffin. She left it and I see that Lloyd has been affected." Peg rubbed her arm and nya face-palmed.
"Can you fix it? YOU NEED TO FIX IT!" jay shook peg by the shoulders.
"Uh, no. once used, There is no turning back… so… yeah…" peg shook her head.
Lloyd drew in a deep breath and hit his head against the wall.
"But… Lloyd just lost his whole childhood!" cole yelled. "We have to-"
"no." Lloyd interrupted. His voice was noticeably lower. "There is nothing we can do now. Just- leave me alone." He walked quickly to the door and ran out.
"Lloyd! Where are you going?" nya called after him.
"A walk." Lloyd said quietly and left.
Lloyd walked across the rodeo ground and sat on a rock a few yards from the trailers.
He put his head in his hands and cried softly.
A thousand thoughts went through his head, most of them about missing 7 years of his life.
He was technically 15 years old, and he didn't know how to control all of his emotions.
"Hey," a voice from behind him said.
He turned away quickly to see a girl up high on a big palomino.
He wiped his tears and stood up quickly.
"Uh... hey." He said, still not used to his new voice.
"What are you doing out here? I haven't seen you before."
"nunya." Lloyd smiled a crooked smile.
The girl jumped off of the horse and shook his hand. "Harumi, but please, call me Rumi."
Lloyd smiled again and shook her hand again. "Lloyd."
"This is emperor. She patted her tall horse. Lloyd walked up to it and the horse shoved its nose all over Lloyd.
Lloyd laughed and pushed the horses head away. "He's cute!"
"thanks." Harumi edged closer to Lloyd. "Do you have a horse?"
"Um, yeah, but she is still being trained." Lloyd said, feeling a bit awkward.
"Well, it was nice meeting you!" Harumi jumped back onto emperor and rode away.
Lloyd waved too and sighed.
"Lloyd, I am so sorry…" nya put her hand on Lloyd's shoulder and hugged him.
Lloyd edged back a little and shrugged her off. "Um, yeah, thanks… but I'm okay."
They were in the truck, ready to go, and jay decided to start up a conversation.
"So… older lloyd, just because you were uppiteyed in age, doesn't mean in smarts. Think fast! Square root of 5,896!"
"76.78541528180987." Lloyd said like it was no big deal.
"wha-?" jay dropped dead silent and kai started laughing.
"Guess you can now be a NHSRA member, old buddy old pal!" he said and elbowed Lloyd in the ribs.
"Whatever," Lloyd said.
Kai peered at Lloyd. "You have a dreamy look in your eyes. Thinking of someone, perhaps?"
Lloyd shoved kai. "Stop it!"
Kai laughed and started singing. "Lloyd and- who is this lucky lady?"
Lloyd's face was flushed. "STOP! It's none of your business!"
"Lloyd and nunya, sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G! First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the-"kai sang.
"ENOUGH!" Lloyd whipped around and punched kai in the nose.
"Oh my-" blood gushed out of kai's nose.
"Lloyd!" nya handed kai a tish and stared at him.
Lloyd edged as far as he could away from the others. "What?! He wouldn't quit, so I put a stop to it!"
Nya turned to cole and looked at him, confused.
Cole shrugged and mouthed, 'hormones'.
Nya nodded and continued texting to a friend.
Lloyd has a girlfriend and hormones. Yippy-Ki-Yae. Toodles.
