Chapter 15: The Nightmare
*At the Cabin*
"Mimi…Mimi…MIMI!" Roger moaned in his sleep.
"Roger hey Roger wake up." Joanne said as she shook Roger awake.
"Where's Mimi?" He asked with a sense of urgency.
"Outside with Angel. Why what's wrong?" Joanne asked with concern.
"I just need to see her that's all." Roger snapped.
Once outside with Joanne Roger saw Mimi and Angel walking the front yard laughing and joking with one another.
"Mimi." Roger called out as he rushed towards her.
"Hey Roger how was your nap?" Mimi asked not realizing what Roger just dreamed.
"Did you have a relationship with Benny 3 years ago?" Roger asked his voice hoping that he was wrong.
"How did you…?"
"Just please answer the question." Roger begged.
"Si… I mean yes."
"Mimi do you need me?" Angel asked with worry on her face.
"No its ok I got this." Once Angel left Mimi went on to explain how it was that she had a relationship with Benjamin Coffin the third. "Look it was freshman year and before Roberto Benjamin was all the rage. Back then he was a totally different person then he is now. He was sweeter, kinder and well over all like you and Collins, and Mark."
"Ok I get it. Continue." Roger said with a hint of jealousy.
"Ok well he asked me out and I said yes. We dated for a year and a half and then Allison came into the picture and ruined everything by spreading rumors about me sleeping around and cheating on him which wasn't true. Well anyway he made a big scene how I was unfaithful and I said to him 'Maldito bastardo!' which translates into 'You fucken bastard.' I slapped him and stormed off. I told Angel who was friends with Roberto. That's how the two of us met. He and Angel comforted me and the rest is history."
"Where was April through this?" Roger asked with curiosity.
"Why she was here with you by this time." Mimi answered with a hint of jealousy of her sister. "And the rest you already know."
"Why didn't you ever tell me?" Roger asked not really understanding why she would keep this from him.
"Well I was embarrassed and I thought that, that part of my life was over with but I moved here and Benjamin and my cousin are still in my life and are trying to make it hell. But I know that La Vie Boheme won't let any harm come to me." Mimi explained as she snuggled into Roger's arms. "Te amo mucho Roger."
"What does that mean?" Roger asked with a flirtatious voice and grin.
"It means 'I love you so much Roger.' Yu eres mi vida ahora."
"Aw chica." Angel said as everyone walked up to Mimi and Roger.
"What? What did she say?" Roger asked now in a good mood.
"I said you are my life now." Mimi answered as she pulled Roger down for a passionate kiss.
"Hey guys." Benny said as he walked up the driveway.
"What do you want Benny?" Roger asked now irritated.
"I was wondering if I could stay here with you guys. Allison and I got into this huge fight and, well lets just say that it might be over between us. And truth be told I would rather spend my spring break with you guys." Benny explained. No one believed him for a second especially Roger.
"Go home Benny." Mimi said as she snuggled deeper into Rogers embrace.
"But I thought that…"
"You thought wrong. With what you and Allison have put Mimi through not to mention the rest of us I think that it best if you just go." Angel said with anger in her voice.
"Well could you at least call me a cab?" Benny asked.
"I will." Mimi said pulling Roger behind her and into the house.
As Benny, left Mimi turned to Roger and asked him, "How did you know about Benjamin and I?"
"I had the worst nightmare that the guys and I left and you were raped by Benny all because we let him into the house." Roger said with venom in his voice.
"Hey… hey it was a nightmare that's all. A really bad nightmare. Nothing is going to happen to me." Mimi said reassuring Roger that all was well and that there was nothing to be worried about. Little did she know that Roger's dream was more than just a nightmare.
