Background: The story behind alleged Mandalorian Warrior, Argus Raish, has been considered to be multiple choice: one spoke of him being a financier on the Planet Alderaan, working his way to gain a seat in the Galactic Senate. Another spoke of him being a moisture farmer on Malastare, but the one tale he was most known for was a disgraced Mandalorian whose father betrayed Jaster Mereel during the Mandalorian Civil War.

Over time as rumors spread about Mandalore returning to its war engulfed culture, Argus was already drifting around the galaxy for a few years, drunk off of Ryborean gax and Corellian Ale. Regardless of his origins, he changed his story when running with smugglers, pirate brigades, even went on as a Sleeper Agent for the Empire on Sullust. In the years following after Order 66, Argus found himself mixed up in a new calling when his ship crash landed on Nal Hutta. A band of worn down mercenaries known as Concord's Veins, came upon the battered warrior and gave him asylum... for a cost.

The first person he saw waking up over a month later was a female warrior from the Planet Concord Dawn named Zeina Maru. She couldn't have been any older than late forties with thick skin designed in cuts and bruises. Neither had seen another Mandalore warrior since the days of the Old Republic. Zeina made it a clear point about the tattoo Argus had on his back.

"This is Jaster's sigil: five crescent moons on a straight line with the blood and tear symbols horizontal from one another. Concord Dawn was where he was born and exiled from. Some say it was the beginning of the end for him. I never thought that, neither did my husband, Rycin. The minute I saw you, first thought I had was to give you one last meal before sending you to the void.

Nothing personal; a blaster bolt on Nal Hutta is a mercy compared to imprisonment by those overgrown worms. Did you serve with Jaster, perhaps in his crusade going after Tor Vizsla of Death Watch? How about the Jedi attacks on his supercommandos? Korda Six? You have nothing to fear, comrade. I've seen dozens of pretenders bearing his sigil. Your face suggests you prefer to live each day a different man, but the blood of Mand'alor is forever."

Zeina was getting warmer in the coming weeks initiating him into the group, but Argus had his reservations... and shame. The other members are a diverse bunch: A former Trandoshan Slaver named Zuric, an exiled Gamorrean Guard named Keach Tarploy, and what looked to be a face no Mandalorian, hiding or not, could forget. CT-2246 a.k.a. "Oxen", was a former Commander of the Clone Army who was knocked unconscious during a skirmish on the Planet Rabsen. He never got the trigger from Order 66, just a series of headaches and PTSD.

Knowing his way around laser surgical equipment, Keach helped Oxen remove his inhibitor chip. It took some reeducating on where he came from, but in time he became a crack shot next to Zeina. A year following the destruction of the first Death Star, Zeina rallied her team, along with Argus, for a job that concerned a unique Kyber Crystal code named "Ghostfire."

(Side facts)

-Argus wears Mandalorian armor consisting of burgundy and dark black colors around the metal plating. His weapon of choice is a custom made recon droid as well as an El-16HFE blaster rifle he picked up traveling with a bunch of no named Mercs on the ruins of Christophsis.

-Argus never keeps to just one weapon. They tend to jam on him.

-He used to have a one passenger vessel that was of Mandalore design. Given his disgraced memories, he left the ship on a backwater planet and discarded the coordinates entirely. Whether the ship was destroyed or sold remains to be seen.

-In quiet moments, he'd wonder what life would have been like if his father never fought in the Mandalorian Civil War. In another life, both of them would have lived in peace, tending to Moisture Evaporators on Tattoine or become professional ring leaders pitting droids against one another. He didn't remember much of his mother, other than she was a professional speeder engineer that got shot in the head by Bounty Hunter, IG-88. Argus vowed revenge, but the drink deterred him from such things.

-Each member of Concord's Veins had different goals pertaining to the Ghostfire Crystal. Oxen had a clone brother back on Kamino that was deemed "unfit" to follow his programming. He wanted to use the crystal to bomb the entire Clone Facility and their "creators" chained inside. Keach wanted to sell Ghostfire to live in a lavish chateau on Coruscant, with Twi'lek maidens tending to his every desire. Zuric planned to keep the crystal as a memento along with other trinkets he collected over the years on his home of Wasskah. Zeina wanted to have a secondary, dominant weapon like the Dark Saber House Wren possesses to keep all of Mandalore united. She wished to take the crystal back to Concord Dawn to be made into the Silent Saber: the perfect Assassin's weapon. However, Argus comes upon Ghostfire as it calls out to him from afar on Kairotetch... a voice of a Grey Jedi.

-Out of all four members of Jaster's Embers, Keach is the only one to best the others in arm wrestling. Oxen for the first few years since his rescue became a handyman fixing various components on their ship.
