Cal slowly carried the bags inside after he made sure Gillian was still okay to get in without assistance. Ever since finding out about her condition, he had been monitoring her nonstop. He could not even think about losing her or Sophie. He looked around their empty house. It was odd to think about the fact that Emily wouldn't be here again until November. Cal smiled to himself. Both of his girls would be arriving home right about the same time: approximately eleven weeks from now. Cal felt arms wrapped around him and lips on his temple. He turned around to find his wife smiling, "It's good to be home."

Cal nodded and kissed her, "Yeah it is love."

Gillian smiled and said, "Now that we're home, we need to start working on the nursery. I figure I can have Dad and Tim come over since I won't be able to help as much now."

Cal gave a sad smile. In the midst of all of this, Gillian was still being practical and at least doing as much as she could about her Placenta Previa, "Maybe I could get Loker to help too. Just make all of the design choices and we'll make it happen." Gillian smiled and kissed her husband hard. Cal stopped her and said, "You know sex can make your condition worse."

Gillian raised her eyebrows and smiled, "You've actually been doing research on something besides facial expressions?"

"What, you think you're the only one who knows how to Google things love?" he smirked wrapping his arms around her.

She chuckled, "Just didn't expect it that's all. Now what do you say we shop for baby supplies?" Cal raised his eyebrows and Gillian rolled her eyes, "First off, the doctor said I could use walking as exercise and second off, I meant with a computer online."

"Sounds great darling," said Cal grabbing his laptop. They both snuggled next to each other on the couch. They found a plethora of cribs, changing tables, clothes, toys, and decorations in addition to what they had already either purchased themselves or received as gifts. Gillian loved hearing Cal talk about his excitement for little Sophie and Cal felt the same when Gillian talked. They spent the rest of the day just watching movies, all of them somehow having the recurring theme of baby in them. Cal decided that they should go out for a nice dinner just the two of them since Emily was gone and Sophie had yet to arrive.

"Cal, are you sure we can do this?" asked Gillian, "I don't know how many nice clothes I have that can fit over this," she chuckled caressing the swollen home of their baby."

Cal smiled and said, "Follow me my darling." Cal took Gillian by the hand and led her upstairs. Inside there was a royal blue dress, obviously a maternity dress, hanging on the door. Gillian walked over to it and held it up to her, "Cal it's beautiful but when did you…"

Cal silenced her and said, "Let me just keep that secret to myself love." When the two had gotten dressed, they both decided to go to a nice Italian restaurant in town. The hostesses seated them and they both looked over their menus, "This occasion would call for wine but I don't think our daughter's health would agree," smirked Cal.

Gillian chuckled lightly, "Water will be just fine for me."

The waitress took their order and Cal poured the water and held up his glass for a toast, "To our family. Our marriage, our college girl, and our baby girl. I love all of you so much."

"Cal…" Gillian said.

"I didn't know what love really was. But love was with me all along. The moment I looked into Emily's eyes I fell in love. The moment I looked into your eyes, I fell in love again. And the moment I look into Sophie's eyes, I'll fall in love once more. And I'm sorry if I go crazy protecting you, but it's only because I'm crazy in love with you."

At this point, Gillian was wiping away the boatload of tear running down her cheeks, "Cal when I first met you I'll be honest. I saw you as an annoying pain in the butt," she said and he chuckled, "But you asked me to be your business partner, and then you asked me to be your wife, and now you're the father of my baby. And each time I couldn't say no. I'm just as crazy in love with you Cal. Thank you for being the stubborn, persistent person you are and never giving up on me. Because if you had, I would not be as happy as I am right now."

Cal stood up and walked over to her side of the table. He stood her up and rubbed her belly before kissing her, "You're so welcome love. You're so welcome."
