Everyone POV
Sabrina woke up the next day to the sound of pots and pans being clashed together quite loudly. She groaned and turned over, throwing her pillow over her head. Puck paraded through the hallway with a frying pan and a metal spatula, banging them as loud as he could.
"Everybody up! First day of school!" Puck exclaimed excitedly, not knowing what school was, only happy that he could make lots of noise and disturb people's sleep.
"Alright liebling, that's enough," Granny Relda said, gently pulling the cooking instruments from Puck's hands. "Why don't you make sure the girls are up and ready for school."
Puck's eyes lit up mischievously, like a little kid in a candy store. "Yeah, I'll start with Grimm, then the Marshmallow."
He quietly snuck into Sabrina's bedroom. She was dressed in, surprise surprise, ripped jeans, blue converse, and a pretty gray top that showed her stomach when she raised her arms… like she was doing now as she curled a strand of hair at the top of her head. Puck cleared his throat and Sabrina flushed red, pulling her top down more.
"Puck! Get out of my room!" Sabrina cried.
Puck smirked as he noticed Sabrina taking in his new 'school appropriate look' according to Granny Relda. Puck hated haircuts and baths, but it was all worth it to see Grimm getting all flustered. "I know, I know," Puck sighed dramatically, taking in her jaw-dropped expression. "I'm the most beautiful thing you've ever seen in your life. Feel free to serve me as your rightful king now."
Sabrina spluttered, getting redder by the second. Puck's unruly hair had been semi-tamed with a shorter cut and some hair gel. He was wearing a green v-neck that brought out his startling emerald eyes and showed off his rather muscular arms. Pair that with a new, not ripped pair of dark jeans and you had the hottie standing in front of Sabrina.
Daphne walked in the room wearing purple jeans and a white polka-dotted t-shirt. "How do I look Sabr-" Daphne cut off when he saw her sister's face and Puck's new look. "Puck's a hottie!" Daphne exclaimed.
Sabrina clamped her mouth shut, standing up and brushing past Puck and Daphne, ready to leave that room and get some breakfast. As she passed Puck she said the worst thing she possibly could have. "You know that we go to school to learn from books, right Puck?"
Puck cringed, and then his face went white. "B-but I'm allergic." He whispered.
Now it was Sabrina's turn to smirk. "I know. I did say A Midsummer's Night Dream was one of my faves, and so I know a lot about you Puck." With that she strode out of the room, her comments making up for her earlier performance of a gaping fish.
As Sabrina entered the kitchen, the smell of honey and hot dogs wafted towards her, and she gagged at the disgusting mixture. Breakfast was what looked to be a casserole, but there was no way Sabrina was touching that. She watched in disgust as both Daphne and Puck shoveled food into their mouths like there was no tomorrow. Sabrina grabbed a granola bar and munched away happily with her 'normal' food.
"So," Granny Relda began. "Since we are Grimms, and we are the reason no one can leave because our bloodlines put the curse on Fairyport Landing, most Everafters who want to leave will attempt to kill you. They are in a group called the Scarlet Hand. Once all Grimms are wiped out, the curse will be lifted. So-"
"WHAT?" Sabrina and Daphne shout at the same time. The table breaks out into confusion, Puck and Sabrina are arguing, Daphne is asking questions, and Mr. Canis is trying to calm things down.
"HEY! I was trying to go over the plan to keep you alive and well, so it might be in your interest to listen!" Granny Relda shouted. Everyone looks down, and Daphne mutters an apology.
"I'm confused, Granny. I thought we moved here so we didn't have our lives in danger like we did in the foster system! Now you're telling me we are at the top of some hit-list?" Sabrina looked confused and a little angry at this turn of events. All she wanted was a normal high school experience. Was that really too much to ask for?
"I know, liebling. It's a lot, but the Scarlet Hand hasn't had an uprising in years. You'll be ok. Daphne," she said, turning to the little girl. "You will be in Snow White's class, so don't hesitate to go to her for help if anything happens to you."
Daphne bit her palm and shrieked. "Wait. Snow White is actually my teacher? THIS TOTALLY ROCKAODODLES!" The little girl was ecstatic.
Granny Relda smiled and turned to Sabrina. "You have a teacher that used to be involved in the Scarlet Hand, but was cleared from all charges. Her name is Stephanie Heart."
Sabrina sighed. Daphne gets a princess and she gets an ex-member of the group targeting her life. Joy. "Yeah, yeah. Queen of Hearts. Off with their heads and all that." Sabrina was not happy.
Granny looked surprised. "I'm impressed you knew who I was talking about. We might have to start having you girls help out on cases."
Puck stomped his foot. "Hey! If they get to help then so do I!" he said petulantly.
Granny smiled. "But of course, Puck. You're maturing, too."
Sabrina held up her hand. "Wait. Cases?" she asked inquisitively.
"Yes," Granny replied. "The Grimm family business is a detective agency. You can help out on some of the cases if you'd like.
Daphne jumped up and down, and even Sabrina's eyes lit up at the mention of a little mystery solving. "Sounds awesome," Sabrina said casually, trying not to sound too excited.
Granny smiled knowingly. "And one more thing. Since you have such a dangerous teacher, Puck is going to be sharing a schedule with you to keep an eye out for your safety."
Puck puffed out his chest. "I'm like a bodyguard, cuz I'm strong, fast, and nothing can get away from me," he said gleefully, throwing a few fake punches in the air.
Sabrina blanched, not happy about this arrangement. "I can take care of myself, I have been for the past four year!" she stated. But Granny would not budge.
"It's for your safety, dear. Now hurry and walk to school." She waved them out the door. "Puck," she called. The fairy boy turned. "It's getting late, you might want to give them a lift."
Puck smiled. Sabrina looked at him cautiously. "A lift?" she asked.
Without another word, his wings sprung out and he grabbed both girls, taking off into the sky. Daphne laughed in wonder, and Sabrina tried to attack Puck. While they were flying over the town, Daphne and Sabrina saw so many Everafters that they could recognize. Briar Rose, Jack from-the-beanstalk, Hamstead, Nottingham, and more. Sabrina smiled. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad. Puck's arm was wrapped protectively around her waist, and she could feel his muscles straining to lift both her and Daphne up. She inhaled the scent of pine and mint, a delicious combination. Though she'd never admit it, she secretly loved this 'lift.'
It ended all too soon as Puck's feet lightly touched the ground. Sabrina heard a gasp from Daphne as they both looked up. It was a castle! "This is school?" Sabrina asked.
"I guess so," Puck replied. "The Old Lady gave me the address."
Sabrina planted her feet. "Let's go guys. Welcome to Fairyport Elementary and High School."
