A/N So… This chapter is going to be more family oriented, about Sabrina and Granny Relda and Canis. Also, we are going to touch on the beginning of an adventure… of the romantic sort. It'll be exciting!

Everyone's POV

Sabrina woke up, stretched her arms, and looked over at her clock. Eight in the morning. Well, that was pretty good, considering she usually woke up at the crack of dawn. Her body was used to getting up early so she could check on Daphne and go for a run before the foster family they were with decided to wreak havoc on her life.

Today was Saturday, in a house where she had a reasonable amount of chores, and her parents, even if they were asleep. They were still here. After four long years filled with doubt and fear about their whereabouts and reasons for leaving her and Daphne, Sabrina was fine with them being asleep for now, as long as it was only for now, and they were here.

Sighing happily, Sabrina pulled out her favorite jeans and paused. Remembering Talia's short skirt, she rethought her outfit. Why should she wear jeans all the time? She liked diversity. And skirts. Sabrina groaned. Why was Puck a deciding factor in her outfit choice?

Telling herself she just wanted a bit of a change, she headed over to Daphne's room and strolled right in, knowing the girl was still fast asleep.

"Daphne, I need you to wake up!" Sabrina half-yelled in the girl's ear, shaking her gently.

"Isn't it Saturday?" a voice said from under the sheets.

"Yes…" Sabrina replied.

"Is it past noon?" the voice asked.

"No…" Sabrina said back, smiling a little.

"Well… don't wake me up until it is," the sleepy voice said in a dreamy way. Sabrina could tell that Daphne was already slipping back into dream world.

"Well I would," Sabrina continued, "but I'm in need of a bit of a… makeover?"

Daphne popped out of bed, a wild mess of curls flying in every direction as she squealed and bit her palm. "Really? YES! I have sooo many clothes that will work. We still have Mom's pretty stuff… and I think you could fit in some of it now! Mom was stylish!"

Sabrina smiled. "I know. I actually have an idea… you know the red sundress?"

Daphne smiled devilishly.

"Great, what have I done?"

The next hour was a blur. Daphne pulled out the push-up bra Sabrina had stuffed in the back of her dresser and stuffed her in the mid-thigh red sundress. It had thin straps and was a bit more low-cut than Sabrina would like, but she doesn't really wear dresses either. The blonde wouldn't let Daphne touch her nails, but the little girl painted Sabrina's toes red. Sabrina's hair was curled loosely, as usual, but Daphne had pinned up the hair that the older girl usually tucked behind her ears. To finish it off Sabrina swiped some clear lipgloss on and looked in the mirror.

Sabrina was surprised. She looked… pretty. Not overdone, just nice. Like Veronica Grimm, her mother. Biting her lip so she wouldn't cry, Sabrina gave the little brunette a hug.

"Thanks, Daph," Sabrina whispered in her sister's ear.

"You look beautiful," Daphne smiled. "Now I'm going back to bed. Wake me up for lunch!"

Sabrina laughed as she watched Daphne disappear under the blankets, retreating back to dreamland. Turning around, Sabrina headed towards the stairs. She smirked as Puck opened his door, yawning and heading towards the stairs too, probably for breakfast. It was almost ten.

"Morning, Puck," Sabrina said sweetly. After all, he had refrained from pranking her last night. She told herself it had nothing to do with the fact he wasn't wearing a shirt and his muscles were more defined than she would like to admit.

"Morning Gri-?" Puck turned around, and his jaw dropped when he saw Sabrina. He expected her jeans and t-shirt attire, maybe her cute pjs if he was lucky. He definitely didn't expect her to be wearing a short dress and all made up with her hair pulled back from her face, looking stunning. She was prettier than Moth! And she was a fairy!

"What's up, cat got your tongue?" Sabrina questioned, forcing her eyes not to stray across his rather excellent body.

"More like alien took over Sabrina. Why- why do you look… hot?" Puck asked. He immediately turned red. "Never mind. It's too early for this. I'm going to get breakfast."

Puck left muttering things under his breath. Sabrina caught something about "stupid girl" and "stupid short dresses," and she had to bite her lip to stop from laughing. She had actually bested the Trickster King! If she had known all it would take to shut him up was a short dress, she would have done it awhile ago. And he'd said she was hot! Talk about winning!

Heading downstairs she made herself some pancakes. Puck had poured himself a bowl of cereal, but he was looking longingly at the growing plate of pancakes. Rolling her eyes she tossed some chocolate chips in the remaining batter. After finishing making eight chocolate chip pancakes out of the rest of the batter, she set the plate in front of Puck.

Puck looked up, confused as Sabrina began to eat her three normal pancakes.

"What, need syrup?" Sabrina asked, passing the bottle over.

". . . Thanks, Sabrina," Puck said, taking the bottle from her hands. Sabrina shivered when he said her name.

"I think that's the first time you said my real name," she commented lightly.

"Maybe you should make me food more often, it puts me in a good mood," Puck replied lightly, a half smile flitting across his face.

Sabrina laughed, and the two Everafters finished eating their breakfast. Light conversation about school, teachers, and whatever else came up filled the room. The two Everafter teens actually got along when they weren't thinking about it. It just came naturally. That is until Canis walked in with a grave expression on his face.

"Puck, we need to talk about Moth," Canis said with a serious tone. He always had a serious tone, so it was hard to tell if this was bad or not. A glance at Puck's face which was now a ghostly shade of white made Sabrina think this actually was a big deal.

"What about that stupid, annoying, murdering fairy? I mean, I hate her. I don't want to go back. I don't want…" He trailed off as he looked over at Sabrina. Her brow was creased just slightly in the middle in an adorably worried expression. He blinked, almost forgetting that he was having a conversation about his arranged fiancee.

"Puck, you don't have a choice. I've been looking for loopholes in the binding contract, but I can only find a few, and they're very unachievable," Canis continued.

"Well, we'll just have to make them achievable!" Puck stormed.

Canis got out a pad of paper with furious scribbles covering the whole thing.

"Who is Moth?" Sabrina asked, very confused right about now. What could possibly make Puck this upset? From what she had learned, the boy was rarely serious about anything.

"My forced, arranged, NOT NECESSARY fiancee." Puck spat all this out quickly and angrily, putting as much venom in the sentence as he could.

Sabrina's eyes widened. "Forced? Arranged?"

"Yes, Puck is from a royal line and the eldest, so he is the heir to the throne. If he is going to be king someday, there has to be a queen to produce an heir. Moth was chosen when she was born. Puck was about five-hundred years old then, so she grew to his age. A binding, magical contract signed by the parents of the two children in question ensures they will remain at the same age so they can be wed when the children are ready." Canis explained all this patiently, watching Sabrina's face turning redder and redder.

"So Puck is being forced to marry this girl by their parents? That's not fair to him! And he's only sixteen!" Sabrina was all but screeching.

"Exactly! And she's horrible! I hate her!" Puck said.

Canis sighed. "Sabrina, Puck may be sixteen physically, but he is over four thousand years old. You must remember that when you judge the situation."

"So? Whether he's four thousand, or four, he shouldn't have to wed someone he hates! Much less produce an heir with her."

Puck blanched at this. "I don't ever want to see her again, much less do that."

Sabrina couldn't help the small laugh that escaped at Puck's expression.

"Well, I can read through the loopholes, but none of them will work," Canis said sympathetically.

Puck motioned for him to go on, and Canis cleared his throat.

"Well, death releases you from it… but you definitely don't want to die."

Puck perked up. "How about we kill Moth?"

Sabrina shot him a withering look and he slumped back down. Canis continued to read, "There's endless sleep, like Sabrina's parents, and… well, true love. That's it. Unless you are ready to declare your love to someone," at this, he looked pointedly to Sabrina, whose hand was being squeezed by Puck's anxious grip, "I'm afraid you're out of luck young man."

Sabrina and Puck shot apart. "Well, how does he know if it's true love?" Sabrina questioned, trying to dissolve the tension between them.

"Well, once they kiss, the contract will appear above both Puck and his betrothed heads and catch fire, turning to ash. But it only works if both parties of the true love pair feel the same way about each other. Also, whoever the true love is will become an Everafter, if they are not already so that they can one day produce an heir." Canis sighed as he saw the two teeanagers staring open-mouthed at him. "Look, Puck has had five years here to come to terms with his wedding. The wedding date is on Christmas Eve in two months. I'm sorry." Canis slowly got out of his chair, old bones creaking as he rose. He ambled out of the room with a somber expression, and Puck's knuckles were white on the side of his chair.

Sabrina pried his fingers from the chair, a determined look set on her face. Puck buried his face in his hands, looking hopeless and not like his mischievous self at all.

"Puck…" Sabrina started gently.

"Sabrina, just don't. I don't need pity, I just need a way out of this stupid arrangement. It's not fair, you haven't met Moth, she's a manipulative, conniving brat, and she gives a bad name to fairies. If you thought Tink was bad for trying to kill Wendy… Well, Moth murdered my father when he started trying to absolve the marriage contract. Unfortunately, there was a lengthy trial and she was cleared."

Sabrina thought back to the diner, and how she was grateful that he didn't pressure her or offer fake pity. He was just a good listener and some much needed human contact. The least she could do was the same for him. And she was going to get him out of this.

"I understand that she's horrible, and I actually knew about your father from a Grimm diary. She's going down, Puck."

Puck looked up, confused. "You heard Canis, and I'm not in the mood to die or fall asleep for the rest of eternity…." he looked up and saw her expression. "No. I can't fall in love, it's not even possible for me. I don't even know what that kind of love is. Granny Relda, Daphne, Canis… that's as close to love as I've ever gotten, Brina."

She shivered with the new nickname. "You don't actually have to fall in love. Just kiss the girl that you would fall in love with and the contract will burn. You can still have eternity to figure out the whole falling for her part, all you have to do is find the right girl and kiss her."

A hopeful half smile spread across the fairy's face. "You're saying I can just kiss every girl I meet, and then if the contract burns over my head, I'll not have to marry Moth! And I don't even have to actually fall in love, I just have to find the one girl it's possible with!"

Sabrina rolled her eyes. "Yeah. You basically don't have to do anything."

Puck smiled. "...So how do I do it?"

Sabrina smirked, her eyes lighting up with a mischievous Puck was all too familiar with. "Well, we just have to get you to kiss every girl you know within your age that you could possibly love."

Puck frowned. "That's no one. I've never felt… I mean…"

Sabrina sighed. "We need Daphne."

A/N So, Red's going to be in the next chapter, and eventually, Sabrina will go with Puck to the castle to meet.. Well, you'll see. Tell me if you like it, and no flames, please! Love you all and I don't own anything but imagination!
