A/N Wow it's been a while! Love all of you, continue to review and I will post faster!
Sabrina slumped against the wall outside her school. She had been waiting for Puck for a full hour now! He was never this late! Right when she was about to call Henry, she sucked in a breath as the ground beneath her hurtled away from her feet.
"Puck! Where were you! I was-"
"Worried?" Puck smirked. Sabrina studied his face, noting the bruise on his cheek slowly fading before her eyes as his magic healed him.
"Where were you?" she repeated, a little more quietly.
"Don't worry about it.l I just had to take care of some stuff," Puck responded, his smirk slipping ever so slightly. Someone who didn't know him would never be able to detect it, but Sabrina, she knew Puck inside and out.
"Promise me everything is ok?" Sabrina asked, blue eyes boring into his green ones. Puck gave her a dashing smile, flashing his pearly whites.
"God, I promise you everything is fine, dear," Puck teased. Sabrina lightly skimmed her fingers across the bruise, which was almost gone now. Puck swore he could feel the swirls of her fingerprints against his skin. Jerking away, he took a deep breath. "I said it's fine, Brina. Cut it out."
Sabrina shrugged. "Fine. Everything is fine. I guess you had it coming."
Puck narrowed his eyes, curiosity peaked. "What do you mean?"
Sabrina turned her head so Puck couldn't see her smile before assuming a very serious expression once again. "Well, you can't expect Thalia to put up with your flirting and not do anything about it. I'm sure she wasn't happy to see you talking to Amber."
Puck almost dropped Sabrina when he realized what she was insinuating. "Oh I know you did not just imply that Thalia freaking Carlisle did this to me! Hell no! I could take her without getting so much as a scratch!"
Sabrina patted Puck's cheek and he swatted her hand away. "I'm SURE, honey."
Puck growled. "I can't help it that all the ladies love me, 'Brina. I get that you're jealous, but-"
"I am SO not jealous, Puck. And besides, I have a date tonight."
Puck snorted. "Yeah, with your recording of Clueless and a pint of Rocky Road."
"Oh, darling, no. It's with Elec? The hottie your girlfriend Thalia set me up with?"
Puck smiled devilishly. "Not my girlfriend. And… let's just say ELEC won't be going anywhere tonight. Hence the ice cream and revolting chick flick."
Now it was Sabrina's turn to narrow her eyes. "What the hell did you do, Robin Goodfellow?"
Puck tucked the blonde's hair behind her ear and brought his lips closer to her exposed neck. "Don't worry. I let him get off one punch before I went after him. You saw the bruise yourself."
Sabrina felt her heartbeat picking up. Puck's lips against her neck, his hot breath on her skin… it was making it a little hard to concentrate. "Puck, I am going to- going to-"
"Hmm? Going to… tell me how amazing and awesome I am while feeding me Rocky Road? I think that's a good plan for tonight too. But no girly movie. I'm thinking action tonight."
With that, Puck dropped Sabrina through the clouds. She disappeared through a white one and continued to free fall, suppressing a smile by thinking about what Puck had done to her date. Puck wanted to catch her, but he let it go a few moments longer. He loved her like this, falling, trusting him enough to enjoy the free fall without being scared. Her blue eyes matched the sky she was falling through, and her long blonde waves framed her like a halo. Sweeping below her, Puck caught her bridal style at the last moment.
"Puck?" Sabrina questioned, looking up at him with her baby blues through sooty, thick lashes. Puck's meadow-green eyes drifted down to her pretty pink lips, parted just a tad.
"Yeah, Dog-Face?"
Sabrina smiled sweetly… then punched him on the opposite side of where the bruise had been. And damn, she could throw a good punch.
"Do yourself a favor, and try NOT to get into any more fights with potential boyfriends of mine. Or next time the pain you feel now will seem like paradise, understand?"
Puck groaned. He could already tell that Sabrina's punch packed a lot more heat than Elec's had, which made him oddly proud. "Hey 'Brina!"
She didn't even turn around, but shouted back "What do you want, Trickster King?"
Puck grinned, enjoying the view of her tangled waves reaching down her back, and her skinny jeans walking away from him. "Finally, you recognize me as the royalty I am! But can we still be on for a movie later? And ice cream?"
Sabrina opened the door, calling back, "Only if you bring fries from Blue Plate!"
Puck grinned, stuffing his hands in the pockets of his jeans, and starting to walk to the diner. Usually he would fly, but he wanted to give his face a chance to heal and Henry and Veronica time to go out before he got home. For some reason, the old man didn't seem to like him all that much. Since it was date night for the parents, so Puck figured by the time he got back he wouldn't have to deal with the unnecessary dislike. See, Henry thought Puck was "corrupting" his little daughter. Puck didn't understand this, because he didn't even LIKE Sabrina, so, really, unnecessary.
When Puck finally got back with a bag full of fries and an almost fully healed face, he found Henry and Veronica's car gone. Perfect timing. He entered the front door to find Sabrina sitting on the couch, brushing her hair. She was decked out in her favorite pajamas, a short pair of white shorts, fuzzy light pink socks, and a blue tank top that matched her eyes. She didn't have any makeup on, and her hair was hanging in loose waves that she was trying to brush into submission.
"Finally. I hope you got a ton of fries because I am starving."
Puck grinned holding the bag over his head. "Sorry, Grimmy-bear, I only got enough for me."
Sabrina shot off the couch, throwing her brush at him playfully. "Haven't you heard sharing is caring? Hand the bag over, Peter Pan."
Puck rolled his eyes. "But see, I DON'T care, so I guess that logic doesn't apply to me, bunny-boo."
Sabrina growled, attempting to reach the bag. She was only a little over five feet, and Puck was over six feet tall. She didn't come close to reaching it.
Puck used his other hand to wrap around Sabrina's waist. Her breath caught as his green eyes bore into her baby blues. His grip on her waist left no space between them, their bodies flush against each other. Sabrina could swear she could hear Puck's heart racing with her own.
"Say the magic word," Puck breathed.
Sabrina looked at him questioningly. "Please?"
He smirked. "Incorrect, Sunshine."
Sabrina glared daggers at him. "I could always freshen up that bruise, maybe add a black eye to match?"
Puck laughed quietly. "You caught me off guard. I would win."
Sabrina moved so that their faces and bodies were even closer than before, and Puck's hand around her waist tightened, encircling her in his scent. "Puck, I think that maybe you were right."
"I'm always right, you're gonna have to be more specific, Goldilocks."
Sabrina pierced his eyes with her blues, pressing her chest against his hard muscles.
"Maybe I was jealous…"
Puck smiled, bringing his other hand down just enough for Sabrina's plan to work. She twisted his arm around and grabbed the fries, leaving him gasping and holding his arm in pain. She just walked over to the freezer to get their favorite ice creams- Rocky Road for her and Cookie Dough for Puck. Grabbing two spoons she sauntered over to the couch, looking over innocently at the grumbling fairy. "So I was thinking compromise- Pirates of the Caribbean marathon? Romance, action, plus Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom… I mean it seems pretty fair."
Puck shook his head to clear his not so innocent thoughts about Sabrina as he took his seat on the couch next to her. "Yeah, that's fine. Murdering pirates, kidnapping, some awesome tricks… And I mean, Keira Knightley's pretty hot."
Sabrina smiled, queuing up the film and digging into her ice cream. "Perfect." Reaching for a fry, she dipped it in her chocolate, marshmallowy mess of ice cream, almost groaning in pleasure.
Puck grumbled, grabbing the blanket and spreading it over the two of them. "You should be thanking me. This is way better than dumb Elec."
Sabrina glanced at him sideways. "Elec is attractive, and it's not up tp you who I date, Puck."
Puck stuck his tongue out at her, showing her his mouthful of French fries and ice cream.
"Ewww, Puck!" Sabrina squealed, tossing a pillow at him. "Let's just watch the movie."
Puck tried to, he did. Sabrina was a little distracting. She got really into it, her face lighting up, flitting from one expression to the next. He should of known she'd be into pirates. Shaking his head and hiding a smile, Puck was more entertained by her expressions and comments about the film than the plot of the movie itself. At one point, he thought she was going to use her spoon like a sword, she was that upset.
"Dumb, dumb girl! Don't hide in the CLOSET! That's literally the first place they will look. Hide behind a door or something, get them over the head as they walk in, then take that one's weapon! DUMB!"
Puck laughed aloud, and Sabrina turned on him. "Well, why won't she do that? It's smarter, and then she wouldn't be kidnapped, duh!"
Soon after, Sabrina started to nod off. Puck moved the pillow-wall Sabrina had rectified to keep them separated. She fell on her side, head in this lap. Puck froze, unsure of what to do. She was sleeping on her side, using him as a pillow, and… well, Puck wasn't going to move her. She'd wake up and kill him.
Instead, he let her sleep through the rest of the movie. It had almost finished when he saw headlights sweep through the cracks in the window. Oh hell, now what was he gonna do? Sleeping Sabrina was out cold, and dressed in some skimpy-ish pajamas. Oh, and laying on him. Puck flicked off the TV, threw away the trash from their snacks, and flew upstairs with Sabrina in his arms, moving at the speed of light. She never woke up through the whole thing.
Puck had just heard the door open when he tucked Sabrina into her covers. "Thank the Gods I did this in time," Puck said to himself. Henry and Veronica came in, and Puck waited in Sabrina's room until he heard the couples' door shut quietly at the other end of the hall.
Puck turned to fly back to his room when he heard Sabrina murmur in her sleep.
"Puck?" He turned back, but her eyes were still firmly closed. She must be dreaming. About him, he thought with a devilish grin.
"You know, you're much easier to deal with when you're asleep, Sabrina Grimm. You finally shut up," Puck whispered, running his hands through his hair as he sat next to her on the edge of the bed. Looking down at her sleeping form, he instinctively started leaning over.
The blond shot straight back up when he realized what he was about to do. He stared at her in the dark, her blonde waves gleaming in the light of the moon outside. Just him and the moonlight streaming in over her face, highlighting her freckles and casting his shadow beside her on the bed. The shadow of a boy who never wanted to grow up, a boy with messy hair a tad too long, a smirk much too frequent, and a pair of green eyes staring in shock at the only girl who could break through to him.
"Sabrina Grimm, what disease are you infecting me with?" He murmured, still in shock.
Hesitantly, he skimmed a hand over her hair, not wanting to ruin the moment of silvery moonlight magic and a girl who slept with a smile faintly on her lips, a moment of tangible magic that only he witnessed.
"Good night, 'Brina." The fairy's wings popped out, and he left her room at breakneck speed, hurtling into his own enchanted bedroom.
Sabrina sat up in bed, feeling a whoosh of wind around her and seeing her bedroom door wavering on its hinges, the moonlight bathing her room in an ethereal silver glow.
