Her once pristine room was now covered in blood. Our princess found herself yet again in a state of fear and panic as her dubious bodyguard dropped the limp body of one of his meant to be assassins to the floor. He turned towards her, his eyes filled with the deep red glow, and slowly made his way over to the bed and untied her. Now with her hands free she could see the mess that her room truly was in, her grand armoire had been painted a dull scarlet and the table that not hours ago she had been having tea on was now in splinters. Her wrists were raw from where the ropes had been tugged tight as they could be and he once
"Now, let's see what this little one has to talk about shall we princess?"
With one body crumpled at the window sill and one with an arm steadily losing blood this was going to be some mess to explain to her mother. "Geez, if mom hated me before she's going to hate me now right?" she tried to chuckle but a sob came out instead. Her life was slowly deteriorating all around her and she felt helpless to stop the collapse.
Kojou walked over to the one-armed body and with one hand around her throat hoisted her body into the air, due to the loss of blood she was passing in and out of consciousness but that was no concern to him.
"Who sent you?"
His voice growled with the same intensity as a lion, and in that instance his vampiric aura seemed tangible as it glowed around him like a lion's mane. But even with this amount of dominance and authority the girl stayed quiet.
"If I have to ask a second time that arm won't be the only thing you leave here missing." His grip tightened around her throat and she gasped in an attempt to breathe. The blood that caked her face had started to dry and as she gasped it cracked all around making it look as if she was a zombie. It was a horrifying sight for the princess even if the girl had tried to use her as bait.
"Release her now!" She stamped her foot as she threw a bedsheet around her body, "If I have to ask again there will be consequences!" Even if she was scared, even if this man had thrown himself on her and scarred her neck with his teeth she was not about to stand by while he hurt another person. Sure, they had stripped her down, used her like bait, and were rude but that didn't mean they deserved this.
"Princess, did you forget who you're talking too?" He dropped the girl and turned around with a blood lust in his eyes, "Let's not forget that you serve me as a feeding bag that I can use as I please."
He seized her shoulders as he spoke and slowly moved his head towards her neck. But soon his ears were ringing as his body steered from his course with that pale, glistening neck. She had done it now, in her anger at her orders not being followed she had hit the single strongest being that had ever walked this earth. She had struck him with enough force to imprint his face with the red mark of all five of her fingers. This was her chance though and in the most terrified and scared voice she could have used she spoke.
"There are g-g-going to be some changes around here, starting with you listening to me as a royal guard and not some vampire with a god complex." Her voice squeaked and broke all throughout the sentence but she had said her mind, and what would come next would shock the world. The biggest baddest vampire, who had single handly taken down two trained vampire hunters dropped to one knee and bowed. And in the nastiest, most spoiled voice he could spat out,
"Yes your majesty."
