Hey , this is my first chapter hate it, love it tell me. Well, I still don't own anything from Victorious.
"VEGA" the goth girl storming to the hall way making everyone flee from her.
"Jade" She slam my locker shut and drag me to the infamous janitor closet.
"Eh..Jade what did I do to get this type of greeting." I asked her.
She huffed and seem annoying with me, well she always is.
"Vega remember the Yerba things that I help you from that scary woman and you kinda owned me" She said while playing with her nail.
"That me Jade, I help you."
"Whatever" she said with her irritated.
"So what your point Jade. If this big bad Jade West need my help." I teased her.
"Don't push me Vega. Like I said you own me. I want you to tutor me with science after school meet me at my car understand?" She demanding but her voice has a hint of embarrassment.
"O...kay when you ever need my help with that are you failed?" Jade hiss okay maybe I piss her off again.
"Lower your voice Vega I don't want the entire school to know, Jade West never failed. To answer your question duh if I not failed why would I asked you. I never failed before and my dad….he kind of piss and well" She hesitate but I encouraged her to talk forward.
"He will not pay for my school and move me to the school he think seem fit to me''
That make my blood boil how dare he said that to her. My family is actually paid for him to take care Jade. Jade is the current heir to the vampire throne she has load of money and goal but all of her asset is locked in the castle when she completely 18 she can open the vault somehow, I don't know. my dad keep that secret for some reason.
" Okay ,Jade I'll help you and make sure that not gonna happen, you will pass this test for sure."
Jade just nodded and storm out the room.
I grab my phone and dial my dad to let him know everything. My dad is far beyond angry.
After school I wait at Jade car. After a minute Jade came and push me in the car.
"Ouch Jade. Why can't you just tell me."
"What fun is that?" She smirked.
"After all you asked me for help. Can you at least be nice?." I shoot her a glare.
"Pff Vega you own me. I don't ask you a favor "
" Whatever, Jade just drive." Well I maybe not own her at Yerba but I'm her property so I can't argued with that right?
Well after 3 hours of tutor. Jade is a good student, surprisingly. She concentrate and don't complain… too much.
"Well, Vega you're not bad for this teaching thing." I raise my eyes brown wow Jade West is compliment me.
''Tell anyone and you will meet with my sharpest pair of scissor." I just grin at her emptyness threat.
"Whatever you said Jade" I grab my thing and reach out to the door then I stop when Jade voice said.
"Since you be such a good teacher why don't we go and grab some dinner, my treat."
I can't hide my smile when I nodded and smile goofy. Jade shake her head and grab her jacket
"Sometime you worse than cat"
Jade take me to Nozu it's like our first play date. Those thought make me smile like crazy.
Get a grip Tori Jade is your charge. Damn it this girl drive my head crazy and my heartache at the same time .
"VEGA" Jade scream right through my ear make me startle and fall off the chair.
"Ouch Jade, why did you do that"
"I called you like ten time and you just smile like an idiot to your miso soup. Just check that you not dead by the miso glare" I just make my confused face to her
"What is the miso glare…well don't tell me"
After that we eat, chat and I make sure to make my emotion in check.
I really enjoy my time with her but I also notice that she rarely touch her food. When I asked she just shrugged and said that she not that hungry. But I know that it a sign when she is ready to vamp. She will lack of wanting food but wanting blood instead.
After we finished our dinner. When Jade and I walk to the car. She parking far away from the restaurant and it quite dark.
Then the man walk out from the shadow he like 6 foot tall, very dark long hair and wear black long coat.
He look intimidate and make the hair on my neck stand up.
"Well how fortunate of me, it's been a long time since I met the pure blood. You scent is very strong honey. I guess that you nearly to vamp."
Jade with confused what this man is talking about but I on the other hand really freak out. For what I can tell he not vampire that a good thing but he is hybrid, obviously.
For what I know there is a group of vampire that try to recruit all of vampireand hybrid to rebuild what they called the Terraza that group killed Jade parents and they don't take no for an answer.
Then the royal guard and council like my father hunt them down but well obviously they still around.
"Go away from us, your dougebag. Jade glowed.
" Come on join us we can conquer the world, After we can destroy the princess and those royal lap dog.
You know the consequence if you dare say no to me. "He smirked.
How ironic that he just invite the princess herself. I already step in and shield Jade with my body.
" I think you misunderstand here. Can you just move we have to go." I said.
" Oh and the young hybrid this is great. You know kid I can easily snap both of your neck off in a blink."
I doubt he can, I'm very train for guarding Jade, I practice all my sense to an expert and since my dad is a high council he one of the best vampire. Since I have his blood I practically have a best gene. I can say that I'm the best of our hybrid but vampire their magic can out my strenght.
I quickly grab Jade and drag her to run away. I can fight with him but I don't want to if I can prevent it. Then he use his speed block our way
" Damn it " I push Jade aside behind the trash "Stay here" I told her Jade look confuse and lost her ability to argued with me " What Vega..TORI" She shouted whisper me.
"Ah little hybrid how brave is you. Let me guess your dream to be a protector like those royal lap dog." He chuckle.
"I already am, your jerk." I charge him with my speed. I'm punch him in the face really hard that make him stumble back. He swing his fist aiming for my torso I doge back that make him imbalance.
Then I grab his shirt and throw him against the wall that make the wall break . He slid down to the floor ,I walk toward him grab his head and pull my sleeve to show my upper arm .
"Look I think you not dump enough to not know what is this. "His eyes wide with rage and terror.
"You're Varselidi and she is…" I smirk
"Good you know that this lap dog is going to kill you for lay eyes on her" Then I snap his head off. I don't want to killed but it nescessary for Jade sake.
"Tori what did you just…." Jade is shaken and it understandable for what I just done.
I took his body in the back of the car.
"Come with me I will explain everything.
We drive in silent in a minute since Jade is still pretty much shaken, I drive.
"Tori what the hell is happening ? You killed someone and his body lay in the back of my car. I want some damn answer VEGA"
Okay, I think she regain from her shock now she in the mood that can shove her scissor to my stomach.
I think for a minute how to explain this to her even if I have train those speech before but it still hard.
'VEGA ANSWER MY FUCKING QUESTION" She shouted demanding to me that sent me goosebump. Well she my master and her order is something my vampire blood can't deny it. (It's easier to deny her order when her vamp gene is hide")
"It's complicated" I answer with small voice like I'm afraid of her, the hell I'm terrified.
"Don't give me that shit, Vega" I winced at that .
"How could you move so fast? and why this man really terrified when you show him your upper arm?"
I sign
"fine. First thing I'm hybrid"
Jade knitted her eyes brown
"That word again what is hybrid"
"In our kind It's mean that I'm half human half vampire." Jade shot me a glare.
"Are you shitting me? And what that symbol on your upper hand ?" She point to my tattoo that is a sun and the bat in middle of it.
"It's a family symbol. My family serve the royal family for many centuries we're very loyal and powerful.
If he attempt to be a traitor that what his faith" I gesture to his dead body.
"Okay so you're like vampire bodyguard?"
"Sort of I have tie my bond with the princess , from the protocol the royal should have vampire for protector but I'm hybrid so I'm pretty much like her slave or whatever she want."
Jade eyes me with sympathy "Oh but you good at fighting from what I see."
"Yeah I pretty must the best for all over hybrid and many vampire but the train vampire with strong magic and can over me. Still that what my dad said I'm not sure that I can fight vampire"
"Well, after you did today maybe the princess will please and promote you for snap her enemy head" That make me laugh very hard.
"You tell me"
"What do you mean?"
