Move Along
Chapter 046
Kagome quickly raced to her room, cursing her little brother. She hated wearing those stupid wraps, and now she was stuck wearing them on a weekend. Hastily, she bound her chest and grabbed a random shirt and jeans Kagura had dropped off. Working fast, she braided her hair and grabbed an oversized hoodie before heading out of her room before the Host Club decided to come looking for her.
Souta was amicably talking with Tamaki and Kyoya when she walked out. But before she could go up to them and complain about their sudden, rude appearance, Hauri approached her.
"Kagome-kun, sorry for barging in like this," she said.
Huffing, Kagome felt her anger seep out of her. It wasn't like she could be mad at the brunette. "It's alright. I know this wasn't your idea."
"Pretty nice place you got here," Karou commented as he and Hikaru wandered through the apartment. Kagome rolled her eyes in annoyance at they snooped their way around the room.
"Why are you guys even here?"
"You didn't go swimming with us, Kago-chan," Honey replied, tugging on her arm as Mori responded with a low hum.
Souta laughed and said, "C'mon bro, be nice to your friends."
She rolled her eyes and muttered, "They're not my friends."
"We're not," Hikaru and Kaoru gasped dramatically.
Kagome rolled her eyes at their antics. She was about to tell them off when she saw Honey tearing up. She quickly moved to placate the third year and said, "Fine we're friends. Now please leave."
"But we brought you cake, Kago-chan," Honey said, holding up a large cake topped with strawberries as Mori held him up.
Kagome inwardly groaned. She was weak against the blond and she was sure they knew it too. She caved and said, "Alright, you win. Put the cake on the table and I'll grab some plates. Souta, go make some tea."
