"So, you're Kago-chan's little brother," Honey spoke once the cake was finished, looking up at Souta curiously.
The younger boy smiled politely and said, "Yep. I remember meeting you guys while Kagome was give me a tour of the school."
"Oh, so are you transfering to Ouran," Kyoya asked.
Kagome rolled her eyes at the Shadow King, but answered anyway. "He'll be a first year at the start of the new term."
"You should join the Host Club," Tamaki declared, moving to sit besides the younger boy. He wrapped an arm around his shoulders and said, "I'm sure under my tutelage, you'll be just as popular as your brother."
Souta laughed, eyeing his sister gleefully and said, "So, he is pretty popular with the girls then."
Hikaru scoffed at the notion, but Honey ignored him and answered honestly, "You bet he is. He's really cool."
Mori hummed in agreement. And Haruhi agreed, speaking, "He is a very likable and helpful guy."
"He has brought in a steady stream of new clients," Kyoya added.
Kagome felt her face heat up in embarrassment at the sudden, and weird praise. She wasn't sure whether she should feel flattered or not. Instead of acknowledging all the compliments, she decided to change the subject. "Come on guys, there's something I want to show you guys on the roof."
"What's on the roof," Kaoru asked.
"It's his greenhouse," Souta quietly answered, as he studied the group. Kagome's greenhouse was her sanctuary. Only she and Jeninji were really allowed up there. She had even occasionally barred Shippo from it.
The twins laughed and said, "Such a tough guy like you, likes flowers."
Kagome rolled her eyes at them, but took their teasing and said, "Yeah, yeah, I like plant life. Now come on before I change my mind."
