DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN THE HARRY POTTER SERIES.

Harry calmly turned to face the camper and smoothly replied, "Yes, I am. Harry Potter at your service." By the end of his introduction, Harry put out his hand for the other to shake.

"Well you're certainly mature for a kid. I'm Travis Stoll, head counsellor of the Hermes' Cabin with my brother, Connor," Travis smiled welcomingly, reaching out to shake Harry's hand with his own.

The two looked at each other appraisingly before another camper, bearing a striking resemblance to Travis- must be Connor, announced that they must soon all go out for dinner at the amphitheatre.

"Follow me kid. There's a lot for you to get used to," Travis said as he headed out of the cabin, looking back to make sure Harry was following him.

Harry briskly kept up to pace with Travis and asked, "I have a lot of questions on my mind, and I was wondering if-"

"Woah, hold on there kid. Those questions could wait until tomorrow. I'm sure your hungry and tired from all you've been through so just come for dinner then sleep right after alright?" Travis grinned bemusedly.

Not willing to put up a fight since he WAS feeling a bit tired, Harry nodded and kept silent until they arrived to the amphitheatre.

Glancing around Harry noticed there were 20 long wooden benches set up. 'Probably for the campers of the 20 cabins,' Harry thought. He then noticed that on the stage set up, Chiron and some man was seated, overlooking the campers. 'That man must be Mr. D. From his appearance one could never have guessed he was a god,' Harry thought amused.

As they arrived to the bench for the Hermes' cabin, Travis promptly sat down and pulled Harry forcefully to his side.

"Alright. See these empty plates and mugs?" Travis asked nonchalantly.

Seeing Harry's hesitant nod, he grinned and continued. "All you gotta do is think of what you want on your plate, and what drink you would like in your mug. Then viola!" As he said this, he demonstrated it by thinking of Coca Cola as it appeared in his mug.

Harry looked on speculatively and pondered, 'This looks eerily like magic. But that isn't right, magic cannot conjure up food or drink. It's simply impossible. Perhaps the drink was summoned from somewhere..?'

Wanting to try it out for himself, Harry thought of a simple pizza and orange juice. Almost instantly, the plate and mug were filled with what he wanted.

Harry too immersed in his thoughts about the differences between the limitations of his world's magic and the magic of the gods, was startled to see the campers line up to throw a bit of their food into the fire.

Then he heard Travis call out from the line , "Harry! Over here! Bring your plate!"

Following the instructions of his head counsellor, he got up and graciously made his way to Travis as it was almost his turn to burn his food- and wasn't that a strange thing?

"Okay Harry so all you gotta do is burn some of your food for the god(s)/goddess(es) of your choice. It's a sort of offering, since they like the smell," as he finished Travis demonstrated by burning a small portion of his food, muttering Hermes' name.

As it was his turn, Harry followed dutifully as he burned around half of his food, determined to get his godly parent to notice him. He said in barely a whisper, "To my godly parent, please claim me as your son."

When he scraped the last bits of his offering off his plate, the fire roared and sent a mouthwatering aroma to the heavens. 'I can see why the gods enjoy this,' Harry thought.

Suddenly he felt a warmth from the top of his head. As he looked up, he was shocked to notice a weirdly shaped symbol of a helmet burning ontop of his head.

Not knowing what to do, he quickly looked at Travis for help and found him gaping at him in shock.

Breaking them both out of their shock, Chiron announced, "Hail Harry Potter! Son of Hades, Lord of the Underworld."

Harry looked around stunned as all the campers rose from their seats and collectively bowed their heads in acknowledgement. Afterwards, the whispers broke out. Campers all around were whispering excitedly to one another.

Harry could only hear snippets of their conversations such as, "-another son of the Big Three!" "Eugh! Not another Hades kid.." "-creepy.."

Travis just bopped him on the shoulder and said, "Well. Not even past your first day and your already moving out, huh?" Travis grinned at him, "Your father must really like you."

"Y-yeah.." Harry replied despite the dryness of his throat. In his mind, he realised the implications of this discovery. He now knew James wasn't his real father, which could also be why he always preferred his brother over him.

"Hey. I know you're supposed to be sitting now in the Hades table, but since it's your first night you could sit with us," Travis said, pitying Harry's situation.

Harry looked gratefully at Travis and nodded, not trusting his voice at the moment. He then struggled to compose himself as he took a deep breath before walking back down towards his seat, whispers and pointed stares following him.

********Six Months Later**********

"Agh! Damn it Harry!" said Percy as he was pinned down by the younger boy.

Harry just grinned down at him mischievously and said, "That's the sixteenth time this week. Looks like you're not all that great, huh?"

"Hey!That's just because you cheat!" exclaimed Percy indignantly as he accepted Harry's hand and got off from the ground.

"In real battle, you do whatever it takes to win- including cheating," Harry said, walking away towards his cabin.

As he walked, he ignored the fearful stares and whispers of the other campers.

'Jeez,' Harry thought. 'You would think they'd gotten over the novelty of having another child of Hades by now.'

"Well I've been here since forever and they're still not over it."

Harry whipped around and smiled genuinely at his half-brother and teacher, Nico di Angelo. Shortly after arriving in camp, Harry was fortunate enough to catch Nico on one of his visits to the camp. Immediately, he was able to sense the familiar dark aura of the boy to recognise him as his brother. Nico, happy to have another sibling since his sister's death, quickly grew fond of Harry and taught him everything he knew.

"Nico! What are you doing here?" Harry waved as he ran towards his older brother.

Nico smiled fondly at Harry and ruffled his hair, "Just visiting, little bro. What? A brother can't check up on his little troublemaker- especially on his birthday?"

Harry basked in his brother's attentions, but froze as he heard that it was his birthday.

'My 11th birthday! How could I forget?!' Harry thought shocked. 'Shite. That means my Hogwarts letter would be coming today, and I'd soon have to leave for Hogwarts...'

Noticing the distress of his younger brother, Nico said "You forgot didn't you?" He sighed. "When you leave for that school- Hogwarts was it?- I'll miss you."

And like magic, as soon as he mentioned Hogwarts a grey barn owl swooped down on them, a letter tied to its leg.
