AN: Yo, I added this on QQ for a final POV change at the end of Chapter 6. Fanfiction is annoying about swapping chapters, and even if I did it, many of you would miss it so here's the short extra scene.

Chapter 7 is being released….TONIGHT! It's a nice thick 22-24K. I'll know for sure after I finish the edits….ugh.

Chapter 6: Final Scene

Somewhere in the Underworld, beneath the artificial full moon, Leone leaned back against a tree with her arms crossed, staring across at a shadowed branch. "It should only take a couple years, depending on how talented he is."

"I don't like the idea of opening the barriers, Leone." A deep voice responded from the shadows. "It could endanger the village."

Leone scoffed. "Oh, please. You're just lazy. We've had guests before."

A pair of slit amber eyes peered down at her. "Yeah, and they came, stayed a bit, and left. You're asking me to open the barrier every two weeks."

Leone clapped her hands together. "Come on, Yoru. You know how I am with debts, and this is the only guy I owe a life debt to."

"Hmph." A black two-tailed cat hopped down from the branch. "This the guy who found you bleeding out back when you got in over your head and fixed you up?"

Leone winced and looked away. "I would have been fine. That Fallen fucker got a lucky shot in."

"There are no lucky shots, Leone." The cat stated simply and slowly began morphing as it grew into a slender, well-endowed woman with long purple locks of hair. A drop of water fell from a leaf above, shining in the rich moonlight as it slid down the luscious, tanned skin of the woman, running over her dark areola and leaving even Leone dry-mouthed for a second as the deep voice turned velvety. "You were too weak to handle it alone, accept that and grow stronger."

Leone shook her head heavily. "Damn it, Yoru, stop doing that, you bitch."

Yoruichi, Nekoshou, and leader of the largest Nekomata village in the Underworld, just smirked smugly at her friend and turned to walk away with her twin tails swaying in the night. "A life debt is owed, and you'll pay it."

"So that means he can come?" Leone asked hopefully.

"For now." Yoru sauntered off, uncaring of her nudity. "Whether your debt is paid here or elsewhere, I'll decide when he gets here."

Leone watched her leader walk away with a sigh. 'Kid's gonna have it rough. Although, Yoru does have a talent for beating out rough edges.' She pondered that and shrugged. 'Well, let's just see what happens. It would be a pain to have to find a different location.'

She kicked off the tree and walked back through the quiet tree line, crossing a threshold as she was hit by the roar of voices and music as hundreds of humanoid felines danced under the moonlight. 'For now, I could use a drink.'

End.

AN: Little important set up for next chap.
