To all of you, thanks for the taking the time to read this it means a lot to me. So enough ranting and on with the story! Also Black Cat Angel and Alli11989 I'll try to update tomorrow or before Saturday but…Anyway here's chapter four. Read, Review and Enjoy the revamped version. While most of it still the same I changed the plot a bit and tried to fix whatever grammar error there were. Please Enjoy.
Turquoise orbs slowly peeled themselves open 'Now where am I?" He noticed that he wasn't chained down anymore but he knew he was still in Hueco Mundo. From the looks of it he was in a small room, a laboratory of some sorts and in a statis tube? Pale green liquid surrounded him. Toshiro could feel something around his neck; it stuck to his skin, 'A collar, seriously?' That Bastard had done something to him; he could feel something was different but what?
"Glad to see you're finally up Hitsugaya kun"-'Speak of the devil himself"- Aizen stood in the doorway, Kyoka Suigetsu in the left hand and a remote in his right. Teal eyes narrowed dangerously as he forced himself to remain calm though it was becoming increasingly difficult each time.
"Get me out of here now!" Hitsugaya spoke through gritted teeth vaguely aware of the oxygen mask over his mouth.
Aizen just kept smiling as he started talking, "Is that anyway to talk to your master?" he chided watching his soon to be Trump card face twist in a fury of emotion before he forced himself to control his emotions and settled for just glaring at Aizen hatefully. "Besides if I removed you from that tube now it could disrupt by everything and we don't want that do we Hitsugaya kun."
Toshiro growled, "I don't give a damn whatever plan of yours getting ruined! And you are not my Master!" He screamed putting emphasis on each word.
"You won't be saying or behaving like that for long." Aizen sat down in a chair in front of a computer that was attached to the tube and looked up at Toshiro who was anxious as to what the man in front of him was planning watching as slim deft fingers hovered over the many keys momentarily just stared just what was this man up to?
A foul, bitter yet familiar taste touched his tongue and started to fill his mouth, running down his throat. Toshiro's eyes widen as he realized what his was, it was reishi pure, unconcentrated reishi, trembling slightly Toshiro could fell the reishi seep through his pores and nasal cavity since his mouth was currently not and option. Aizen looked up watching him shiver it wouldn't be long now.
"You Hitsugaya kun," Aizen began explaining, "Are one of the many reincarnation of the Heavenly Guardian though you're a special case." A white brow rose slightly, "What are you talking about?" Toshiro had stop shaking and was noticeably paler; his eyes were also different, duller and the pupil and iris nearly the same indistinguishable.
Standing up the Espada leader placed a hand on the glass, "The heavenly guardian is suppose to be born to Shinigami or plus. You however were born to a Human Soul allowing its power to remain dormant until you died that's when it became active when you started hearing your zanpaktou at such a young age" He then pulled out a small orb the reiatsu radiating from it felt familiar.
Teal eyes widen before they lower back to his usual serious expression "You don't really expect me to believe that." His words were laced bitter sarcasm and the strange taste from before. "And I really didn't expect someone like you to believe those Fairy tales Aizen."
"This is a children's strory and since you refuse to believe my word," He paused on before going over to the screens and typing severla commands into the keyboard beneath it. A loud humming sound soon filled the room, Light teal eyes widen as he noticed the liquid slowly dissipating and the flow of reishi going into him cease. He turned back to the now confused Captain who continued to focus more on the small spherical object in his hand.
"That's mine isn't it?" He said quietly not really needing an answer, he already knew, the way it just seem to pull towards him.
"Yes" Holding his hand out, the one that was holding the orb started glowing light violet color as Aizen began pouring a bit of his reiatsu into the orb.
Toshiro barely made out the container before a sharp wave of reiatsu made his breath catch in his throat as he fell on his knees, panting, glancing up at the orb. He body suddenly felt like it was made of lead and it became difficult to breathe and yet he could keep his eyes off the orb or off Aizen. For a moment the orb flashed a white color as it struggled against the other's man reiatsu turning completely purple once more at the same time the whites of Hitsugaya's eyes turned completely black.
Finally after fifteen minutes Aizen ceased putting his reiatsu in the orb and kneeled down in front of Hitsugaya, watching him catch his breath before placing Kyoka Suigetsu a couple of centimeters away from his chest, "Look at me, Hitsugaya kun."
Toshiro looked up at Aizen; his eyes had turned a dull forest green as his brows formed a straight line above. Not acknowledging the fact that Kyoka Suigetsu was now pointed at his chest the tip grazing the surface.
"You see Hitsugaya kun." Aizen swiftly pulled the sword away and resheathing it swiftly and dexeterously. "This orb is part off your reiatsu; it's all just a single link of your Saketsu, while normally if it's tampered or even removed the person loses their powers and their life is immediately shortened as well however," he stopped abruptly removing all but tiny percentage of his reiatsu from it before continuing his explaination, "as the current reincarnation of the heavenly guardian your soul's reiatsu is able to reform if partof it is removed however much like the ice you manipulate Hitsugaya kun." he smiled before baliing his fist up and crushing said soul link his hand sending pale blue reishi into the air. Hovering silently and still in the air around them.
Toshiro watched for a second before he felt slight ache in his chest and tasted the familar tang of iron in his mouth. "What was the point of that" He already knew the answer and didn't bother to let Aizen confirm. Something were better not said outloud especially if she knew weren't going to get the answer you wanted.
Hitsugaya already knew that Aizen began lecturing him, "The heavenly guardian is able to absorb reishi from its opponent and environment and manipulate it to there advantage however such a powerful ability does have a down side for instance if said Opponent is stronger than said guardian they could easily turn this into their advantage by manipulating the foreign reiatsu their reiatsu' to either cause said them to commit Soul Suicide or with someone more skilled however could use that reishi to control the heavenly guardian giving them the perfect solider, one loyal to them and no one else."
Dread filled the white haired captain as he let the words the man before him sink in but he didn't let No couldn't let Aizen see that he was a bit shook up so placed a mask a mask of indifference on his face as he thought about everything he thought He knew that the Heavenly Guardian from all the stories, the legends he had been told. According to them soul had sacrificed themselve to save the soul society during a great war before the Gotei 13 was even formed and was to be invincible in terms of spiritual pressure highness, Reiatsu Control and Zanjutsu to be exact so how could someone like that be susceptible to such manipulation. "How?" he asked "I thought the heavenly guardian couldn't be corrupted by anything. Where did you get this information from?"
'I have my sources, " Aizen simpered grabbing Hitsugaya'by the collar around his neck, yanking him up to so that he was now feet of the ground, perfectly eye levelled with him." Yes Hitsugaya kun the first, the original heavenly guardian was a very powerful soul but with reincarnation came a price. Through spiritual transmigration the heavenly guardian's power grew steadily weaker over the course of time occasionally a soul close to the original in term of power would appear but even they lack the same type of raw talent that the first possessed."
Aizen frowned as he noticed Toshiro not paying attention to him but rather the reishi particles around them, his reishi. "YWhat makes you think you can manipulate my spiritual energy with you own in such a way. That's rather arrogant thinking Aizen."
"Its not arrogance if you had the skills to back up what you preach." The former fifth squad captain said as the reishi particles started moving towards one another until they had reformed themselves into an orb still hovering in the air when Aizen grabbed it holding out towards Hitsugaya, Quietly surprised when said orb disappeared back into Toshiro's body.
Nothing seemed out of sorts, Toshiro felt his reiatsu level go up by fraction than another and another along with it a dull ache that seem to increase as his reiatsu level did. Green eyes looked up seethingly at the older male, who did nothing but stare down at the white haired child before him. The pressure became all too much for Hitsugaya's young body before collapsed, convulsing violently on the floor. He shook a few more times before going slack. Aizen said Nothing before leaving the room, sending arrancar in to fetch the poor unconscious captain.
End Chapter Four! It's not as good as I hope and I know no one likes cliffhanger but just wait it gets better. Also does anyone like my idea for the heavenly guardian. I'm basically trying to say is that through each reincarnation its soul became weaker and more vulnerable this was the soul they was reincarnated to would be a child.
