Hey readers!
I want to start off by apologizing. I know you were expecting more from me than this, and I had originally planned to continue this book for a while. To be completely honest, I just don't know where I'm taking it anymore. I still love Naruto and Sasodei, but recently I've been working in other fandoms (Durarara! mainly) and I've lost my inspiration for this story. Plus I had a bit of a trauma back in April and my online presence just kinda disappeared completely for a little bit. I don't want to leave you on an endless cliff hanger, so I wrote this little epilogue. I hope that one day, I'll be able to pick this story back up and write a sequel.
I'm sorry for everything.
"Deidara, honey, what are you doing?"
Kushina immediately kneeled down to console the panicking blond who had curled up into a small ball in the corner. He was wearing a light blue suit that complimented his wings, but also caused his eyes to significantly stand out. Although despite his fabulous clothing, the blond looked like a mess with his tearful eyes and trembling body. The queen only held him close, whispering comforting words into his ear.
"Kushina, is he ready?" Minato's voice rang out.
"Just give us a minute!" the redhead called back.
"Alright, but hurry."
Kushina assisted her son to his feet, supporting him until he was stable. He didn't know if he could do this, what he truly ready? Although with more assuring words from his mother, the blond knew it was the right time. He had to do this now. No, he wanted to do this now. He used a handkerchief to wipe the tears from his eyes and his mother took him through the building to meet is father, who was dressed up in a regal-looking purple and white suit.
Deidara reached out to take his father's arm, and as the music started the double doors in front of him were pulled wide open. The first thing he was the familiar red hair, the brown eyes staring back at him and the most beautiful wings standing straight up on the male's back. His suit was a stunning mixture of white and gold, matching the beautiful crown that sat on his head.
He was nervous, but as his father handed him over to Sasori, the bog king was all he saw. The man he'd gone through so much with was here right in front of him, and was about to marry him. Their hands connected, and Deidara could barely pay attention to the priest's words. He was feeling so many different things at once. There was happiness, excitement, fear, love, sadness. He couldn't figure out what he was thinking.
"We are gathered here today to witness the royal union between Bog King Sasori Akasuna, ruler of the Dark Forest, and Crown Prince Deidara Namikaze, the heir to the Fairy Kingdom's throne. Do you, Sasori Akasuna, take Deidara Namikaze as your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you part?"
"I do."

"I do."
"The rings, please."
The ringbearer shyly stepped forward, holing up the case he'd been asked to take care of to the priest. The man took it from the child with a smile before he opened it up for the couple. Sasori was the first to go, reaching forward to take one of the rings. His eyes caught Deidara's and the blond couldn't bring himself to look away as the ring was slipped onto his finger.
"I give you this ring to wear as a symbol of my abiding love, my eternal faith, and my undying devotion. It is an outward reminder of our inner unity. With this ring, I thee wed."
Deidara followed.
"I give you this ring to wear as a symbol of my abiding love, my eternal faith, and my undying devotion. It is an outward reminder of our inner unity. With this ring, I thee wed."
"By the power invested in me I now pronounce you man and husband. You may kiss."
Deidara felt as if he were on the moon as a pair of lips touched his, and he melted in the redhead's arms. Cheers and clapping erupted from throughout the building as the deal was sealed to unite the Dark Forest and the Fairy Kingdom. And finally, Sasori escorted his husband down the aisle and the two exited the castle all together where many more awaited to send them off.
Sasori climbed onto the bad of the large squirrel, pulling his blond up beside him. And as the sun set on the two kingdoms, the future kings of the soon to be united kingdoms rode off to the Dark Forest where it all began for their honeymoon until next month, when they returned stronger than ever to rule the kingdoms once and for all.
The two lived a long life together, and became well known as history as the greatest rulers the two kingdoms had ever seen. The Fairy Kingdom and the Dark Forest were united, and even the forests themselves united together as the kingdoms lived happily ever after.
